5pc lemon garlic wings
Kelvin J.

I've drove past this spot MULTIPLE TIMES and was curious about it, until today!!! Today I stopped in and got myself a 5pc garlic pepper wing combo. The wings were an okay size and flavorful. I wish I could give up a 3.5, only because the woman behind the counter wasn't welcoming when I walked in. Plus to add they don't give you dip for the wings that's 50 cents extra....LIKE REALLY!!!! The question is would I come back.............probably not.

A HUGE five-piece wings and fries will leave you full.

Sunny's is a hole in the wall, no frills wings and things shop in mid-Baltimore. From your arrival, the expectations are realistically low. The location is part of a strip mall with little advertising or pizzazz. The staff makes up for this by providing freshly-made huge wings and flats that come with a variety of sauces. Again, this is not a five-star dining experience but the food is hot, good and made-to-order. There are a few sides but nothing memorable. Again this is no-frills, which means you just go to the counter and order. There's some seating and a TV but not much else in the way of decor. The staff is friendly enough but unspectacular too. Basically, if you're in need of a hot, quick meal this a good place to go.

Bomb! I got 10 wings Congo with half Caribbean Jerk (3/5) and Hot Lemon Pepper (4/5)!! So freaking crispy and delicious! I also bought the Banana Pudding but it was stale to make sure you ask when it was made. I'll be back!

Menu - 3/9/18

The tenders were amazing. Not that fake breaded over greasy "chicken" you get at some of these other carry out place. Sunny's might have the best wings title for a reason!

Bomb chicken box! Light, crispy, and not greasy!

The wings were ok, they were cooked correctly but the sauce was nothing I would write home about

Great food very similar to Americas Best Wings but some unique wing flavors. Also good and time efficient service for a decent price

The staff were attentive and respectful. At the counter, you start by choosing your salad toppings and then select your greens. I went with corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, broccoli, cheese, carrots, and grilled chicken on Romaine lettuce, with white balsamic vinaigrette. They add the dressing, mix everything up, and then chop it. I also got a piece of bread to go with the salad. Including a tip, the total was about $18. Everything was fresh, but next time, I'll ask for the dressing on the side. I'll also skip the grilled chicken--while the pieces were large, they lacked flavor, so I ended up picking them out. Maybe I'll try shrimp or salmon instead. Overall, it was a decent salad experience.

OMG, it was the best and made our day. This visit the store was jam packed with mainly carry out. They do such a good business. I was totally amazed at the number of people managing the orders. I am looking forward to coming back.

I really wanted to take a picture of the cool pro vegan signs out front so I could share with me carnivorous friends. As I pulled the phone out to snap a pic, a gentleman came outside and invited me in. Of course I accepted. It was then that I met my new friend Tiffany. What a friendly lady that was proud of her work. She couldn't wait to walk me through the menu. Her personality, confidence and friendly demeanor was top notch. So when time to order I just asked her to give me whatever she likes best. I guess it was a rather odd request, but she walked me through her normal favorite selections. I followed her advice and am glad I did. The flavors were amazing. Tiffany lead me down the right path. I would encourage everyone to try this new business out. You will not regret it. The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

She was so friendly and made my experience a great one. The margarita flight she made was strong and delicious. I ordered from the 3 course restaurant week menu, which had a nice variety of choices for each course. I chose bayou rolls, steak with mashed potatoes and greens (it came with broccolini but I loathe the bitterness of broccolini so I was able to sub for greens), and white chocolate bread pudding. The bayou rolls were slightly salty but they were still good. My steak was overcooked but I don't believe in sending meals back. The bartender brought me some melted garlic butter without me asking and said, "I believe it was supposed to come with a glaze but they ran out. I figured you would like the garlic butter instead." I really appreciated her because it did help me to eat that dry steak. The white chocolate bread pudding was to die for!!! It was so good and warm and the ice cream was the cherry on top. I returned a month later because they were doing a surprise deals. At the conclusion of my last visit, I was given a sealed envelope to open at my next visit to see what my surprise was. I was surprised with a free cocktail. I got the Blackberry French. It was good but not very strong. I also got charbroiled oysters and a catfish sandwich. Both were great although my fries that came with the sandwich were a little soggy. The service at this visit was good as well. I will definitely be back soon for happy hour.

I chose the Cajun salmon recommended by our waiter Shaccari. I had it with the Mac and cheese and collard greens with corn bread. I have no complaints about any of it! The salmon was cooked to perfection! Loved the cork screw noodles in the Mac and the greens were A1. My friends said they could've been more tender but they were perfect to me! I do like my vegetables with a little bite tho. And I don't know what kind of honey they use on the corn bread but babyyy SO GOOD ! Our waiter Shaccari was excellent. He had plenty of recommendations, was funny and sweet. Everything came out quick but still fresh! I got their fresh squeezed blueberry lemonade to go, and that was also really good.
