    5pc lemon garlic wings

I've drove past this spot MULTIPLE TIMES and was curious about it, until today!!! Today I stopped in and got myself a 5pc garlic pepper wing combo. The wings were an okay size and flavorful. I wish I could give up a 3.5, only because the woman behind the counter wasn't welcoming when I walked in. Plus to add they don't give you dip for the wings that's 50 cents extra....LIKE REALLY!!!! The question is would I come back.............probably not.

A HUGE five-piece wings and fries will leave you full.

Sunny's is a hole in the wall, no frills wings and things shop in mid-Baltimore. From your arrival, the expectations are realistically low. The location is part of a strip mall with little advertising or pizzazz. The staff makes up for this by providing freshly-made huge wings and flats that come with a variety of sauces. Again, this is not a five-star dining experience but the food is hot, good and made-to-order. There are a few sides but nothing memorable. Again this is no-frills, which means you just go to the counter and order. There's some seating and a TV but not much else in the way of decor. The staff is friendly enough but unspectacular too. Basically, if you're in need of a hot, quick meal this a good place to go.

Bomb! I got 10 wings Congo with half Caribbean Jerk (3/5) and Hot Lemon Pepper (4/5)!! So freaking crispy and delicious! I also bought the Banana Pudding but it was stale to make sure you ask when it was made. I'll be back!

The tenders were amazing. Not that fake breaded over greasy "chicken" you get at some of these other carry out place. Sunny's might have the best wings title for a reason!

Bomb chicken box! Light, crispy, and not greasy!

The wings were ok, they were cooked correctly but the sauce was nothing I would write home about

Great food very similar to Americas Best Wings but some unique wing flavors. Also good and time efficient service for a decent price

Let's dive right in -- this trip was all about the crab cakes…read more I consider myself a connoisseur of delicious crab cakes. I've had them everywhere there is to have them, and somehow I'm just now discovering Koco's. Well, let me tell you -- this is the winning spot. There are a lot of good, even great, crab cakes around town, but Koco's is 100% in a league of its own. I usually enjoy my crab cake with crackers, maybe a little bread on the side. Not here. Skip the bread. Skip the filler. This crab cake stands all by itself. Outrageously delicious. Off the scale. The kind of crab cake that makes you stop talking for a minute because you're too busy appreciating what just happened. And it's not just the food. From the second you walk in, you're treated kindly -- not only by the staff, but even by the folks sitting down enjoying their meals. The whole place just has that great local, welcoming feel. I also can't leave out the French fries. They are off the charts too. A true 3/8 straight-cut fry -- not those crispy coated carnival/stadium fries that seem to be taking over everywhere these days. Real fries. Done right. There is no better crab cake to be had. If you're going to go big, go hungry. You will leave HAPPY!!!!!!!

On the hunt to try some of Baltimore's best crab cakes, I'm late to the party for Kocos. However,…read morebetter late than never. Given Koco's crab cake platter during their dinner service will set you back about $50, I've been hesitant to spend that amount of money for just one 8oz. crab cake. So I decided to give them a try during their lunch hours where you can get a 6oz. crab cake platter for about $30. I ordered in advance and popped into the brightly colored, tropical themed restaurant which was bustling on a Friday afternoon. My pickup was quick and the service was nice. I of course had to sneak a few fries while on my ride home, and they were perfectly crisp and well seasoned. Once I made it home I dived into the beautifully broiled crab cake and I immediately understood why Koco's is know as one of best crab cakes in the area. Full of lump crab meat, seasoned to perfection, and not wet in the center. All things I consider in a good crab cake. Now that I've had a taste of Koco's I'll definitely be saving a few coins to splurge a little for a crab cake.

I tried to pay cash but the cashier counted only $30 so I paid on my credit card. Before I even had the opportunity to use the touch pad to put in a tip she immediately hit enter several times so it bypassed all the options for tip, text receipt etc.... I was thinking ok, not wanting a tip I guess. It seemed rather rude. While we waited I counted my cash and I did have $40 so I'm not sure what was up with her math. Food came out really fast. Our drive was not far so our food should have been hot. Instead the small racquet ball size crab cakes were cold. I don't even think they were cooked thru. I had to stick in air fryer to get them warmed up. The coleslaw which on previous visits was good lacked any flavor besides mayonnaise. My poor wife cracked down on a sharp pointy shell in her crab cake. Needless to say we were both disappointed and still hungry. I'm not sure what happened but we won't be going back anytime soon. I think we'll stick with Pappas.
