    Original Crab Cake Platter

We arrived within 20 minutes of opening on a Saturday and the place was already pretty full. We were seated immediately but they only had high tables and bar seating remaining so I definitely recommend having reservations if you want to guarantee a table. They are known for their crab cakes and rightfully so! It was huge and delicious. There were no fillers so you get to taste the freshness of the crab itself and it was quite filling. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Despite being a pub, it felt quite homey.

I can't believe this place is literally around the corner from me and I've never been in, me craving cream of crab soup brought me here because I don't want to drive 45 minutes for my other spot so here I am, from the street you can smell the crab and the ole bay they a lil pricey though, I got a bowl of cream of crab and 1 junior crab cake... with a total cost of $44 can't wait to try it I'm actually writing this review as I wait on my order. Update on my order everything was delicious the lump crab cake. It a filler could be seen nothing but meaty goodness, the cream of crab soup I savored it taking baby portions to enjoy because it was that delicious I didn't want it to be gone, you better believe I'm gonna be hitting up this spot on a regular.

Excellent extra large quality Maryland lump crab cakes! The taste was really there and full of pure crab meat. This place is little bit of a drive from the main city so be aware that it is on the outskirts of the city. Parking is street only and mostly residential side streets. I went ahead and ordered online since you cannot call in an order ahead of time. The order was ready in about 20 mins from the online order placed. I also offered the cream of crab soup and the coconut shrimp. Both were good but as the reviews says, the shrimp was a bit on the over cooked side. All in all, I would come back for more, if I am in the area.

This was such a cute establishment it is located right on the corner, it is a neighborhood staple. next across from it it a mechanic shop, on the other side is houses. This definitely reminds me of a place you come on a Friday night have a decent meal, grab you a drink at the bar with some friends. The staff were very friendly . you cannot make a reservation on the weekend. They are only open on Saturdays. I am glad we got there when we did because it became packed right after we arrived. We ordered the Crab Cakes (2) platter which were $98.00. They were good for the side and had no filler which we loved. My Relatives ordered the Half and half soup which consist of the creamy crab soup and the tomato based crab soup. We ordered the chicken tenders with friends for the kids and the chicken was seasoned well.

The service was great! The crab cake was huge. The onion rings came out fast and they were hot and fresh and so we're the food that came with the crab cake platter.

Traveled 3 hours in Thursday evening traffic with a friend after work to finally try this place after hearing so many good things. We made reservations about 3 weeks in advance since we heard it was pretty small. Parking was actually easy, which was a nice surprise. Our waitress was very nice and attentive throughout the night. We started with the crab dip, which was just okay to me -- I was expecting a little more crab meat. The crab cake itself was a really nice size and definitely filling; I couldn't even finish it all. It had good lump crab meat, but I personally would have liked a little more seasoning/flavor. Overall, it was a good experience. I'd go back if I lived closer, but I don't think I'd make another special trip just for it.

Delicious crab cake and friendly service. Visited Koco's for the famous crab cake and definitely worth it. Staff are friendly.

Expensive but so worth it!!! Each 11oz crab cake is pretty much entirely crab and it is absolutely seasoned to perfection!! I definitely recommend coming here but you should make an a reservation or just do carry out. Take your seafood lover friends here!

First of all the service and the food at this place was great. As of right now, I feel like they have the best crab cakes in Baltimore due to the size and no filling in the cake. The only thing that will prevent me from going everyday is the price point. They're a bit on the pricer side but was still worth it!

I've heard great things about Koco's Pub and wanted to try it for myself. My friend and I stopped by for a late dinner. We ordered the crab cakes of course, salmon blt with fries and a guava margarita. Kocos owes me nothing. The bartender made my drink perfect. The crab cakes are popular with reason. The salmon blt was juicy and simple. Fries crispy and a decent portion. The bar is well lit with a moderate noise level. The bathrooms are clean and all the staff were friendly. Positive dining experience all around and I would for sure return.

Sorry, Koco's Pub - we just weren't fans... We had heard about their crabcakes and were highly recommended in checking them out - we decided to do a carryout order while in the area, in which they text you when your order is ready (which is pretty convenient)! We ordered: +the Creamy Crab Dip - probably the worst crab dips ever; came with 2 large sliced baguette bread, topped with some melted cheese; the dip itself was just not good - it had an off taste to it, more cream cheese than crab, and was not fresh - it was inedible, as it made you literally gag; the bread itself was tasty, as it was buttery and cheesy, however it was useless without the dip! +the 'Double' Crab Cake Platter - came with french fries, coleslaw, lettuce, and a sliced tomato ; unfortunately, the crab cake itself was super bland and had absolute no flavor to it; it also contained some shells +an iced tea - we had requested sweet tea, but the individual in the front must have 'misheard'; we received the unsweetened version The biggest gripe was that they only had Cholula hot sauce - crazy! Staff were friendly, and the place was packed to the brim, with both patrons who were dining in and for those who were picking up. There is limited street parking, but patrons can also park in the Safeway parking lot down a couple of blocks into their overflow area. No dice, Koco's. +bland crabcakes +worst crab dip ever +inaccurate orders +street parking available

Awesome event perfect. They don't take orders over the phone. Placed order online and in less than 10 minutes I received an alert that my order was ready. When I arrived I parked one the side residential street. Entered thru a side door. I was greeted by the ladies at the counter. Gave them my name and my order was ready. It was about 430 in the afternoon. The dining room was not crowded at all. Music was playing but, not very load. I was asked did I need silverware and I said yes. I got to my car and checked my bag. No tarter or cocktail sauce in the bag. I wasn't offered any at the counter. I would think that when spending $51.00 for an 11 ounce crab cake with no sides that at least you would be offered cocktail and/or tarter sauce. I sent my grandson back in to get both. He received it with no problem. When I arrived home I was anxious to find out what all the hype was about. I opened the container. I decided to eat the lettuce, tomato and pickle 1st. I didn't bother to eat the crackers that came with it. When I cut into it.....nothing but, real lump crab. Once tasting it I was impressed. Definitely, good quality crab. Now for me I like a little more seasoning but, other than that it was delicious for sure. It wasn't huge as some other places but, 10 on quality. I would purchase again but, because of the price it is not something I would be able to purchase often.

    Paloma Crush was refreshing.

Awesome pub. We dined downstairs for happy hour. Fish and chips on happy hour is just 1 small piece…read moreof fish so keep that in mind but it was crispy, flakey and delicious! I also got a mushroom lasagna and it didn't feel hot enough/ didn't taste amazing after the first few bites. But hoping it's a one off and would like to try some other things. We weren't the biggest fan of the chicken sandwich (I think it was called the chicken royale?) we got either- it just didn't work with the combination inside the sandwich. Seemed like there was only 1 person running the whole downstairs (and maybe training someone else) but he was a burst of sunshine keeping it together. Because of the 2 dishes not really hitting the mark but fish and chips are great id give it between 3 & 4 stars! Will come back for the fish & chips and try something else as the atmosphere was lovely and service was nice. Also looks like they have nice deals for every day of the week at the upstairs portion.

The only odd thing was that our server seemed to change halfway through our meal without anyone mentioning it. The fried green tomatoes (not pictured) were excellent and definitely worth ordering if they're on the menu. I had the shepherd's pie--it had great flavor but was unfortunately very salty, making it hard to finish. Overall, good food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd recommend if you're in the area before a show.

Anyone can show up, any time. Everyone's welcomed. You can have a good convo w/o having to scream thru it. MASSIVE PLUS *smile*!!! From a musical perspective, all sorts of genres pump thru the system and the ability to make selections is much better than other bars, which is great.
