    Mozzarella Sticks
    Melinda S.

I was craving wings and multiple people recommend Kisling's so I had to check it out! My bf and I got a seat at the bar. Donna was our bartender and she was awesome! Very friendly and made us feel welcome. We ordered 10 honey sriracha wings and mozzarella sticks. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The mozzarella sticks were cheesy goodness. The wings were delicious! The sauce was a perfect mix of sweet and spicy, they were crisp, meaty, and juicy. Definitely the best wings I've had since moving to Baltimore! I loved the casual vibe of this spot and the great service. I'll definitely return for more wings and also want to try some other menu items. A friend told me their chicken sandwich is also delish!

For as long as I can remember, Kisling's Tavern has been a cherished watering hole in Baltimore, and for good reason. This longstanding dive bar has earned its place in the hearts of locals, myself included, not just for its laid-back, no-frills atmosphere, but for serving up what I consider the best wings in Baltimore--a title they've held for years. The tradition runs deep; my father used to frequent Kisling's when he was younger, and it's a place that's been passed down through the generations, continuing to serve up cold drinks, hot wings, and plenty of good memories. The Atmosphere: Kisling's is a classic rowhome-style dive bar, with a narrow space that's cozy yet packed with character. The interior is drenched in old-school charm, featuring a wood-heavy construction, sports memorabilia from local teams plastered on the walls, and a massive wood bar that stretches across most of the room. It's the kind of place where the atmosphere is just as important as the food, and the vibe is always relaxed, making it perfect for kicking back with friends or watching the game. The bar has a second floor that functions as overflow for the main bar downstairs, so even if it's packed--particularly during Ravens or Orioles games--you're still likely to find a spot. And that's part of what makes Kisling's such a reliable staple in the Baltimore bar scene: no matter how busy it gets, it's always welcoming and never pretentious. The Wings: Let's get to the reason most people make the pilgrimage to Kisling's: the wings. No exaggeration--these are some of the best wings you'll find anywhere, and certainly the best in Baltimore. They've won numerous awards for their wings, and for good reason. The size of the wings is impressive--large, meaty, and perfectly crispy on the outside without being overcooked or greasy. But it's the signature buffalo sauce that truly sets them apart. The balance of spice and tang is spot-on, making it so addictive that I find myself ordering them every single time I'm here (I'm a purist when it comes to wings, after all). The wings are offered in platters of 10, 25, or 50, and you're required to choose just one flavor per order. As mentioned, I stick with the classic buffalo, but there's a vast selection of other sauces to choose from if you want to switch things up. Over two dozen options range from garlic parmesan and Old Bay honey BBQ to more adventurous choices like spicy sriracha and teriyaki. On a recent visit, several of my friends decided to experiment with some of the other flavors, and even they were impressed by the richness and boldness of the sauces. For about $12 for 10 wings, the price is perfectly in line with what you'd expect from a dive bar--nothing too fancy, but you're getting great value for the quality. Given the size and crispiness of the wings, it's easy to share a platter with friends, making it an ideal food for a laid-back night out. Drinks & Cocktails: No dive bar would be complete without a solid drink selection, and Kisling's delivers in spades. They offer a good range of domestic beers on tap--think your standard favorites, along with a selection of local brews from Baltimore-area breweries like Key Brewing in Dundalk, Monument Brewing in Highlandtown, and Peabody Heights in Remington. But the real standout when it comes to drinks are the crushes. Baltimore is known for its fresh-squeezed citrus crush cocktails, and Kisling's has a particularly delicious rendition called the Kisling's Crush. It's a local twist on an orange crush, combining the citrusy goodness of an orange crush with the kick of a Black Eyed Susan cocktail, made with locally distilled Sagamore Spirits Rye. It's refreshing, perfectly balanced, and the ideal complement to a platter of wings. Final Thoughts: If you're looking for a place to enjoy some of Baltimore's best wings while watching the Ravens or Orioles in a laid-back, divey setting, Kisling's Tavern is the place to be. From the unbeatable wings and cold beers to the cozy, no-frills atmosphere, this bar has been a cornerstone of the local scene for years, and it's easy to see why. It's a perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a truly authentic Baltimore experience. Rating: 4.5/5 Kisling's Tavern is a classic dive bar that's earned its reputation for great food, cold drinks, and a no-nonsense, fun atmosphere. The wings alone are worth the trip, but the overall experience makes it a staple in Baltimore's bar scene.

    End of the wing adventures!

Good place for wings! Went with a party of 7 so ordered many flavors so that we could all try different one. Ordered Old Bay, Lemon Pepper, Honey Dijon, Original, Buffalo BBQ, General Tao's, Garlic Parm, onion rings and fries. Everyone agreed that the best flavor was the original! Skip the General Tao's as they aren't that great. All flavors were good and not lacking in sauce/flavoring. The fries were excellent and they have apple cider vinegar in the table which made the fries even more delicious. The onion rings are heavily breaded and served with a great sauce. The service was great and when we entered we were seated immediately since we got there just as they opened. There were lots of people coming in once we were there. There is a large bar and then several large booths that accommodate larger parties. Parking is a pain and you will have to drive around to find a spot and then walk to the restaurant. I wouldn't venture down in the evening after everyone is off work as I can imagine finding a spot then would be impossible. If you are a wing enthusiast give this place a try!

I like chicken wings! And Kisling's Tavern is good! But next time I will try for that sweet potato stuff! I mean I don't know it's sweet potato but looks like yes, it is... The place always full! Especially if there is a football game... I like the places that have an authentic atmosphere! And clean restroom! There is no car parking! You have find a place on the street or on the others...

Ever since the ibar infestation, I've been looking for a new wing spot. Have the say, while their famous buffalo wings were good (but very mild), there was not nearly enough sauce. Pretty dry actually. Extra sauce was I believe a $2 up charge? I also would've preferred if they were fried a bit harder, but overall good quality meat and flavor. For a 10 count and fries it was about $20 for reference. I'd likely come back because it's the best I've found so far.

Hands down, Kislings has the best wings in Baltimore! They are always cooked and sauced perfectly! So flavorful, sooooo good! I've ordered pick-up from the restaurant many times, but never dined in. The inside is on the smaller side and is similar to a sports bars. Im not the biggest fan of close quarters, so I always order to go. Parking is also limited in the area. I recently order wings through Uber Eats, because I did not want to make the drive to the restaurant from West Baltimore county. My 25 wings were delivered in an aluminum pan that was placed inside a box. Wrapped so I knew the driver didn't touch my food. I've had many flavors, but opted to order the Buffalo Thai Peanut wings this time. I know that this sounds like a weird combination, husband certainly thought so when I told him what was for dinner. But the wings were AMAZING!! These are likely my new favorite flavor at Kislings. I hope there are no plans to take them off the menu anytime soon!

The boyfriend and I wanted a quick bite to eat so we stopped by Kislings on Sunday. My chicken cheesesteak was chef kiss! The bread was so fresh and the flavor was on point. My fries tasted a little old and that's the only reason that I removed my one star. My boyfriend loved his seafood club sandwich and he both had crushes as well. Customer service was on point and I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more options.

All the booths were practically full because it was game weekend. I got wings and they were so good, they didn't make the photo. With that being said: If you want wings? Go here. If you want a reasonably priced drink in a 2024 economy, Go here. Do not come here if you're expecting restaurant type service and everything to be polished. This is a bar. Eat, drink, and be merry. Will return for wings for sure!

We ordered Buffalo and Bang Bang Wings.

If a visit from hell was a Yelp review. I visited this establishment for a few reasons. 1 It's rumored the best wing spot in MD. 2 Family members sent me a nice Instagram reel earlier this week and encouraged me to visit. 3 Oldest woke up yesterday wanting Buffalo Wings. Not just Buffalo Wings, but he said "Good Buffalo Wings". 4 & I wanted to waste 45 minutes driving time each way... no. 5 Yall... my Yelp Fam gave this place good reviews. I saw local and out of town visitors' praises. Sooo, son son and I take the hike down to Kislings. Located parking pretty quickly. I already peeked at the menu, so I knew I was getting Wings, Salad and a Hot Toddy if available. As I entered the establishment, I saw several signs mentioning their Bourbon. Looks like we're having Bourbon this evening, aye?? Sat at the 2 bar seats closest to the door as this place was super busy. Less than 2 minutes go by when April slides 2 menus to my son, and I like it was a sporting event saying, "Want something to drink." I SPOKE (Hello) and then requested 2 ice waters. I said THANK YOU once rec'd. April was on MUTE. Soon after we ordered. I had a few questions about 3 of the Wing flavors offered. April answered my questions as painfully as she could. Again, said THANK YOU. April, MUTE. 15 minutes later, our delish food comes out. We collectively ordered 10 Buffalo Wings, 10 Bang Bang Wings, a small Garden Salad, and a small order of Fries. ** LISTEN UP, THIS IS THE GOOD PART ** All of the food was delicious!! Great portion size, temperature appropriate, and well plated. ... BACK TO THE REST. My son and I sat there for an hour+. A full hour+. Not a peep from April. We were finished eating after 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I watched April SPEAK to other patrons, say THANK YOU, SMILE, CURSE like a sailor (F Bomb, called 2 folks a WHORE), tell another customer I LOVE YOU after receiving bill and tip, yell over the tv's to the opposite end of bar, talk endlessly about her upcoming Jamaica trip, text, and spend more than half of my visit down the non ordering end of the bar tipped over w some males. Omg, the hair... watching her play in her hair while gathering folks' beverages didn't sit right w my soul. Now, this isn't a Kisling's thing because I saw how kind all the other employees were to EVERYBODY. Next, I saw a couple come in... similar to me, who rec'd the same exact cold as ice, rude, prude service. And then saw all of April's teeth, including back molars, when "others" entered. Meanwhile, we're dying for libations, but there was no way I was going to increase her tip. The Wings were 7/5 !! Customer Service 2/5 !! The 2 is because April showed up. ... I left soooooo disappointed. So disappointed. I don't have a closing line.

I was so disappointed with my DoorDash order. I ordered buffalo bbq and I don't know what kind of mystery mustard sauce I received but I could barely eat them. Now previous kid longs hands down has the best wings I usually love them I'm sorry but this $30 doordash order that was barely eaten took away 2 stars for my 2024 review. I can't say I won't give them another try but I will only do regular buffalo .....

    Ahra J.

If you're craving some solid buffalo wings, this is your spot !!! They have imo the best wings and their original sauce leaves you wanting more! The size of the wings are also on the big side. They offer smaller portions (10) or you could get shareable sizes (25 +) if you have a larger crowd. The downside is that you can't mix and match flavors... personally I have not tried other flavors so idk if you would even want to! :P I also tried their cream of crab soup and it was pretty good! A little thinner than I like but had nice chunks of crab meat. Their crushes are decent too but like any drink I'd recommend drinking it fast as once it's watered down, the orange flavor does get weird. The outside is so cute with the Kislings logo painted across the side with the natty boh guy! Nice touch of Baltimore The staff are all friendly and provide very quick service!

Also for a group of 12, it took about 7 mins for everyone to be served food. Yes, this is a large party, so you must have several servers come bring the food when you're charging these prices. It should've been a seamless experience but we had several friends waiting on their food while others were halfway through. The food quality itself was hit or miss. The pork belly app was delicious! Crispy and tender. But the octopus was overly chewy and weird. We had 2 dishes with it and both were cooked like that, it wasn't good. The lobster poutine was delicious and went quick. Paella was okay - the shellfish was overcooked and seemingly dried up. Drinks were good and staff was friendly. Overall, there are a lot of kinks to work out. I'd like to come back but at the price point, I wish our experience was better and wish the food was more consistently good.

For food, we ordered the Bianca pizza and a classic cheese pizza with oregano added. The Bianca was decent, but the garlic was a little overpowering for my taste. The cheese pizza, however, was the standout. The added oregano really elevated the flavor, and while it doesn't crack my personal top five pizzas (I review a lot of pizza), it comfortably earns a spot in my top eight. If I found myself back in the area craving pizza, I'd definitely order it again. Before the pizzas arrived, we were served fresh bread drizzled with olive oil, and it was absolutely delicious, a simple but memorable appetizer. On the drink side, both the IPAs and the strawberry crush were excellent and paired well with the meal. Overall, I'm giving Little Donna's 4 out of 5 stars. The service, atmosphere, drinks, and appetizers were all outstanding. The only thing keeping it from a perfect score is the pizza itself. For me, a 5-star pizza is one that I can't stop thinking about long after I've left and while this was very good, it just didn't quite reach that level.

Awesome local spot! Our bartender, Jesse, was very friendly and answered any questions we had about…read morethe food and beer menu. There is a great selection of beers, both drafts and cans. We ordered a cheesesteak to share. We were able to see the chef working hard to make all of the orders for others and us which was cool. The cheesesteak isn't my favorite I've had, but still pretty tasty and very large. Good size for sharing. Their burgers and wings looked good and I enjoyed their fries as well. Overall, this is a really cool neighborhood spot and I'll definitely return!

It's definitely on the divey side, but in a fun, laid-back way. Our server was great and even let us sample a few beers before ordering. I tried a pumpkin ale -- which I actually loved! It surprised me because I don't usually drink beer (hate is a strong word, but I normally don't like it). This one was sweeter and enjoyable. We got the garlic rosemary fries (the aioli was perfect), plus the blackened chicken tenders and honey Old Bay wings. Definitely not a place that'll leave you hungry -- portions are generous! We had a great time and enjoyed all our food. The only reason I left off a star was because the bathroom freaked me out a little ..but I'd still visit again. Casual setting for sure -- we saw lots of friend groups hanging out that seem like regulars. Seems like a great neighborhood spot with a solid community.
