Italian Cold Specialty Subs
Kymbaly W.

I ordered through door dash a 12" Italian sub. This sub was sooo good. I will say that it can be slightly salty with all the meats but it was very good none the less. I got it exactly how it is on the menu and it did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients and It's so big! I ate one half one day and the other half the next day. I'm absolutely ordering this again!

I came across Subplicity on Instagram and TikTok and had to check it out for myself especially since I love a good cheesesteak! The restaurant is super cute and gives an old-school diner vibe. I was pleasantly surprised to see a phone booth inside, which added a fun, nostalgic touch. Customer service was solid I was greeted both upon arrival and departure, whether dining in or ordering carryout, which I appreciated. For food, I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and my husband got the hot Italian. The chicken was seasoned well, and I took the advice to skip the lettuce and tomato on the cheesesteak, but unfortunately, my sub was still soggy. The bread was cut more like a sandwich rather than a traditional cheesesteak roll, and I think it may have broken during toasting because when I took a bite, everything fell out of the bottom. My husband enjoyed his hot Italian but mentioned he wished it came on a different type of bread, as this one didn't really soak up the oil from the sandwich. Overall, it wasn't the best experience, but it wasn't terrible either. I'd be willing to give them another try in the future.

This guys are gaining a name in the city and rightly so. They make some dang good subs. Is there usually a little bit of a wait? Sure. But they take the time to construct your order with care. It shows how popular they are that they routinely run out of ingredients because the demand is there. I've both gotten delivery as well as picked up sandwiches from here but you can also sit in and eat there. Last time I got the turkey club minus the bacon. They do not skimp on the meats and cheese, the sandwich is piled high. It was a great addition to a picnic we had planned. I'd recommend you stop by and get your sub hit from this place.

I recently stopped by Subplicity and was honestly so surprised (in the best way) by how good everything was. I ordered their $18 fully loaded Italian sub and it did not disappoint. It was stacked with ham, prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, and provolone -- then topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, cherry peppers, mayo, EVOO, red vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano on a toasted seeded roll. The bread was fresh, soft, and held all the juices perfectly without getting soggy. Every bite was flavorful and well balanced. Portion size was generous, and you can really taste the quality of the meats and toppings. I also love that they offer the option to customize your own subs, plus they have hot subs on the menu too, which I'll definitely be trying next time. If you're looking for a solid Italian sub that's actually loaded and worth the price, this is a great spot to check out. I'll be back!

Checked out sublicity because I was craving a cheesesteak. Put my order in and picked it up in person. Called ahead to request a change to my order -the server was unbelievably kind and even wrote me a cute note on the packaging. The fries and cheesesteak were *chefs kiss*. Meat was plentiful and well seasoned and I added lettuce and tomato (tho they recommend against it). I will say the sub was quickly soggy-wondering if a change in packaging would help? But it was still so tasty and filling that I didn't care. I'll be back!

According to Google, this place has one of the best subs in Baltimore. To me the subs are OK. The service was great, upon walking in the cashier could tell immediately this was my first time. She recommended either getting a hot or a cold sub for me I got the chicken cheesesteak and my friend got an Italian cold cut. Both sandwiches are prepared wonderfully, they both tasted good(however, a little more salt and pepper could've been used on my cheesesteak). Overall, the place gives good vibes. Definitely a nice little spot to come for a lunch break or grab a bite to eat.

Found Subplicity on an IG reel and let social media convince me to spend more money! This place did not disappoint though. Stopped by during the lunch rush but even packed, the staff moved fast and delivered top-tier customer service. I came for the cheesesteak and omg they do not play about the meat - very generous portions! Probably the best cheesesteak I can recall having in a minute. Came to big my back again (duh) and chatted with the staff after the rush. Truly some of the nicest people you'll meet. Great food, great energy. I took notice of how kind and respectful Joe spoke with his staff which really stood out to me. I have no issues with my back growing big from these visits! Tip these folks when you do visit- they definitely deserve it.

Cold Specialty Subs: Italian cold cut

So after keep hearing great reviews about Subplicity I finally pulled up. It's on a pretty busy street so I'll warn you now parking is going to be a bit of a challenge. But once I found parking it was on. It's a small spot so on a busy day it can get hectic in here. Luckily it wasn't crowded when I came, only like a good 10 people. I went with the Italian cold cut, chips, & ice tea for a total of $25. My only issue with that is I wasn't familiar with their subs cause I would've never gotten the 12' sub. It's literally 2 subs for $18. I would've stuck with the $11 sub. But it's too late now plus it's so good I'll gladly finish this off later. The sub was packed with meat & toppings just how a sub is supposed to be. The service was also amazing the cashier was very informative & nice. The cook was as well, plus he was super efficient in getting the ordered out as quickly as possible. My only issue that caused me to take away a star was unfortunately he was moving so fast he messed up my order & put tomatoes on it. But he was super nice & offered to make me another one (I refused). But overall this was an amazing sandwich easily one of the best Italian cold cuts I've ever had & a must have if you love Italian cold cuts.

Cheesesteak! W/ sweet peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onion and mushrooms, spicy cheddar and hot relish!

This was the BEST cheesesteak that I've had in years! Initially, I ordered delivery and was blown away by the cheesesteak. The warning that they give about the possibility that items could be soggy was unfortunately true for the wings but tasty nonetheless. I was so impressed I treated my cousin to a cheesesteak for her birthday, in person, and she was equally impressed. So much so she ordered a cold cut half sub that the saw being prepared for another customer. My third experience was also in person with my daughter and she loved it! She also ordered the tater tots and they were yummy and I'm not a tater tots person. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. They got my whole cheesesteak with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, spicy cheddar, sweet peppers and hot relish exactly as ordered. Subplicity now has me spoiled for any other cheesesteak!

Kind and amazing staff! Ultimately delicious food with a beautiful shop you can sit and enjoy your food in. Store can get busy so just call your order in advance so you can skip having to wait.

This place is amazing! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the owner who is courteous, friendly, and responsive. Subs take 10-15 minutes to cook. But when I tell you it's fresh. It is freaking fresh! Deli and cheese is sliced there and the ingredients are premium! Their sesame or "seeded" sub rolls is the way to go! Place has seating and looks like a diner. You won't be disappointed. Try this place out if you like to eat! The cheesesteak is phenomenal!

It was a cold day so our wait for 4 people was short, but I'd imagine that in the summer it's longer. Overall the restaurant itself is small but super cute. I loved the decor and the layout. We went with the mimosa sampler which had 3 juices and a bottle of Prosecco. I liked the passion fruit juice and my friends loved the lavender flavor. We shared the peach cobble French toast as a starter because it sounded too good to pass up. And it was amazing! Legit some of the best French toast that I've ever had. For my main dish, I had the short rib hash and it was also delicious. The short rib was tender and flavorful. The creme fraise and the peppers really set it off. Service was also good, we had a very attentive waitress. Plus the music was good vibes. I'd definitely come back when in Baltimore

The place was clearly popular but the staff handled the crowd really well. Service was great from start to finish. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and the food and drinks came out at a good pace. The drinks were a highlight. We ordered a mimosa flight with a few different flavors and it was a fun way to start brunch. All of them were light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Food was equally strong. One dish came with eggs, toast, and a veggie mix topped with avocado and cheese that was full of flavor. The Monte Cristo was also excellent. Perfectly crisp, lightly sweet from the powdered sugar, and great with the jam on the side. Great vibe, tasty drinks, and solid brunch food. Definitely worth the visit if you are looking for a good brunch spot.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.
