My friend and I visited this place due to convincing videos on social media. What really sets this place apart is the proprietors and the service -- which earned an extra star to my food rating. I love underdog businesses -- and the stories behind it. The menu is fairly simple and the subs are tasty and fresh. The lettuce and tomatoes are cut several times a day and I can taste the difference. Being an avid big boy eater and Philly cheesesteak and hoagie fan, I was feeling like I wanted more -- even eating after a large. The small to me is a kid's portion. I wish the subs had more in the middle like many spots in Philly.

Sheesh, what a spot! We've gotten the Italian sub a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. The sub is absolutely stacked with meats (salami, pepperoni, prosciutto) and fresh tomato/lettuce. The smallest size (6inch) lasts two meals. So simple yet flavorful! Our go-to sub shop in Baltimore! Hear good things about the cheese steaks as well.

I love the cozy diner vibe from this humble sub joint in the most southern part of Light St. I tried their cheesesteak sub which was very good. They use Cooper Sharp white cheese, faithful to this new Philly tradition, thin-sliced ribeye, sesame seed roll, and grilled onions. Tasted great but meat could use a just little seasoning. The overall taste is very good and I'll be back to try some of their other sandwiches. The fries were a little bland but made better with vinegar and ketchup. The men's room has some cute phrases pasted to the mirror that say "Smile, it looks good on you" and "Oh gods, you look perfect!" Yes, "gods" not "god". Nice touch. The owner, Joe, his wife, the staff are all nice and friendly.

Generally I am not one to buy sandwiches; however, Subplicity is the exception! The shop is located in an old school diner which adds to the aesthetic! Staff is super friendly and helpful! They recommended that I go with the Italian Sub and it did not disappoint! I ordered the 12" Italian Sub and it was enough food for two meals due to the amount of meat and toppings on their subs. You have the option of getting a sesame seed bun, which was recommended! Overall, I highly recommend Subplicity when in Baltimore!

I came across Subplicity on Instagram and TikTok and had to check it out for myself especially since I love a good cheesesteak! The restaurant is super cute and gives an old-school diner vibe. I was pleasantly surprised to see a phone booth inside, which added a fun, nostalgic touch. Customer service was solid I was greeted both upon arrival and departure, whether dining in or ordering carryout, which I appreciated. For food, I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and my husband got the hot Italian. The chicken was seasoned well, and I took the advice to skip the lettuce and tomato on the cheesesteak, but unfortunately, my sub was still soggy. The bread was cut more like a sandwich rather than a traditional cheesesteak roll, and I think it may have broken during toasting because when I took a bite, everything fell out of the bottom. My husband enjoyed his hot Italian but mentioned he wished it came on a different type of bread, as this one didn't really soak up the oil from the sandwich. Overall, it wasn't the best experience, but it wasn't terrible either. I'd be willing to give them another try in the future.

I recently stopped by Subplicity and was honestly so surprised (in the best way) by how good everything was. I ordered their $18 fully loaded Italian sub and it did not disappoint. It was stacked with ham, prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, and provolone -- then topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, cherry peppers, mayo, EVOO, red vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano on a toasted seeded roll. The bread was fresh, soft, and held all the juices perfectly without getting soggy. Every bite was flavorful and well balanced. Portion size was generous, and you can really taste the quality of the meats and toppings. I also love that they offer the option to customize your own subs, plus they have hot subs on the menu too, which I'll definitely be trying next time. If you're looking for a solid Italian sub that's actually loaded and worth the price, this is a great spot to check out. I'll be back!

This guys are gaining a name in the city and rightly so. They make some dang good subs. Is there usually a little bit of a wait? Sure. But they take the time to construct your order with care. It shows how popular they are that they routinely run out of ingredients because the demand is there. I've both gotten delivery as well as picked up sandwiches from here but you can also sit in and eat there. Last time I got the turkey club minus the bacon. They do not skimp on the meats and cheese, the sandwich is piled high. It was a great addition to a picnic we had planned. I'd recommend you stop by and get your sub hit from this place.

I ordered through door dash a 12" Italian sub. This sub was sooo good. I will say that it can be slightly salty with all the meats but it was very good none the less. I got it exactly how it is on the menu and it did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients and It's so big! I ate one half one day and the other half the next day. I'm absolutely ordering this again!

Checked out sublicity because I was craving a cheesesteak. Put my order in and picked it up in person. Called ahead to request a change to my order -the server was unbelievably kind and even wrote me a cute note on the packaging. The fries and cheesesteak were *chefs kiss*. Meat was plentiful and well seasoned and I added lettuce and tomato (tho they recommend against it). I will say the sub was quickly soggy-wondering if a change in packaging would help? But it was still so tasty and filling that I didn't care. I'll be back!

According to Google, this place has one of the best subs in Baltimore. To me the subs are OK. The service was great, upon walking in the cashier could tell immediately this was my first time. She recommended either getting a hot or a cold sub for me I got the chicken cheesesteak and my friend got an Italian cold cut. Both sandwiches are prepared wonderfully, they both tasted good(however, a little more salt and pepper could've been used on my cheesesteak). Overall, the place gives good vibes. Definitely a nice little spot to come for a lunch break or grab a bite to eat.

Found Subplicity on an IG reel and let social media convince me to spend more money! This place did not disappoint though. Stopped by during the lunch rush but even packed, the staff moved fast and delivered top-tier customer service. I came for the cheesesteak and omg they do not play about the meat - very generous portions! Probably the best cheesesteak I can recall having in a minute. Came to big my back again (duh) and chatted with the staff after the rush. Truly some of the nicest people you'll meet. Great food, great energy. I took notice of how kind and respectful Joe spoke with his staff which really stood out to me. I have no issues with my back growing big from these visits! Tip these folks when you do visit- they definitely deserve it.

I'm so happy a decent Sub shop has opened in Fed Hill. Cold Cuts and Cheese steaks and breakfast is also offered. Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken cheese steak on a seeded roll. Friendly staff and an overall a clean establishment with dine in seeting.

The crust and sauce as it should be, the cheese, just enough and the pepperoni had just enough bite! Recommended! We took home a couple of rice balls (arancini) and they were okay. I've never seen yellow rice in a rice ball, nor a meatball used as the center. It's usually ground beef, a little sauce with peas. It was odd to me though the marinara they gave with this was really good. Maybe this is how rice balls are made here in Baltimore and that's okay, it's the only reason I knocked a star off. The fellow behind the counter was very nice and helpful, there is not a lot of room to sit, but we had room. A good sign that during our visit an employee of the Department of Health had his lunch there. A good sign that it's clean in the kitchen (it was definitely clean out front.) Recommended for the pizza. We'll be back.

It's a little bit tricky to find as the main sign is up as a sign which can be easy to miss. The space is intimate with limited self serve seating. They also have outdoor seating as well. Started out with the Crab Rangoon which was crunchy and crispy, filled with the Rangoon. The neighborhood bird was voted best chicken sandwich in Baltimore and I can see why. The sandwich is on a steam bun which had a sweetness to it. The chicken thigh is large and filling, seasoned well and goes well with the mayo, pickles and herbs. The crispy shrimp bowl came with fried shrimp lying on a bed of basmati rice, some pickled vegetables and herbs. Definitely have to mix all your ingredients together to get the maximum flavor. The Yuzu drinks were refreshing. The white peach flavor was delicious. Overrall the meal came up to $66 with a 20% tip. Seemed like a lot of people order online for pick up. My friend and I split the cost since we were planning on having a second lunch after this lol. The sandwich is a crab cake + softshell crab on a very soft bao bun. It was pretty good but it was alittle lukewarm since we were late for our pick up (so our bad). Very good sandwich with delectable flavors with the crab cake full of meat and the crunchiness of the softshell crab. Pretty solid sandwich! Im not sure if its worth the price point but I appreciated as is.
