Got the chicken tikka platter yesterday, pickup. The food is not made on site but your order is actually brought from an Indian restaurant in Joppa(Kitchen of India), so my hopes went up. The order was generous but somewhat awful. The chicken pieces were hard and the sauce was the usual orangey-creamy stuff I've seen at other takeout places. I could not taste the spices but that maybe just me.I am Indian and want to taste actual spices instead of a tomatoey gooey orange colored sauce with salt and cayenne pepper/chilli powder. Worst delivery experience ever. Made my order through Grubhub.com for the Chicken Tikka, Veggie Samosas and a Diet Coke. Food took an hour and a half to come (30 minutes over the estimated delivery time). The delivery guy greets me in the most uncourteous way possible and then slips "we didn't have Diet Coke. Here's Pepsi." When I opened the food containers in my apartment, everything was cold. To make things worse, I get nothing but the cheap salad with 3 tiny pieces of dry, bland chicken. Ordered the meat lovers stromboli at 8:00 on a Wednesday. Didn't arrive til almost 9:30. It was a beautifully tossed boli, but slightly overcooked. Not sure if it was sitting in the drivers car all that time, but a cold stromboli just isn't what I was hoping for. read more
