    Vegan pizza bagel
    Molly K.

I am extremely impressed with the vegan options at Roland Park Bagels. This was well worth the drive from Rockville, MD. I came to Roland Park Bagels to run with Plant Powered Athlete Baltimore running group. I stayed for the breakfast. Roland Park Bagels has a spacious room for ordering and dining in. They also have a good amount of tables outside for outdoor dining. I love that their menu clearly says "vegan" for all vegan items. It was so easy to navigate the menu and have no confusion when I placed my order at the register. I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich with Just egg, vegan cheddar cheese, and I added tempeh bacon on an everything bagel. I also tried the vegan pizza bagel which comes with both halves of the bagel turned into pizzas with marinara, vegan white cheese, basil, and a balsamic drizzle. The breakfast sandwich was great and I think it needed the tempeh bacon. It would have been a little boring without the extra flavor and texture from the smoky and meaty tempeh. The bagel was a little softer than I like. It did work well in the context of a breakfast sandwich though as it was easy to bite into. The pizza bagel was truly a standout for me. I loved the amount of basil added to the bagel. Basil is one of my favorite herbs and they did not hold back on fresh basil. I also live the marinara sauce they used. It tastes so fresh, not sugary, and not acidic. It was just right. The vegan cheese was nicely melted which is really hard to do. I would definitely road trip to Baltimore again just to enjoy this pizza bagel another time. Thanks Roland Park Bagels for the great vegan options! Looking forward to a return trip when Plant Powered Athletes Baltimore returns for another Sunday Run Day.

Everything bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese

Roland park + bagels = Roland park bagels. This little cafe is popular for bagels and located in... you guessed it, Roland Park. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese. It came out to about $4 including tip. The order was ready in about 5-10 minutes and wrapped securely in foil. I grabbed a seat outside on the small patio to stuff my face. Well the bagel was definitely toasted! In fact, some of the everything toppings were a bit charred. It wasn't a huge deal and still tasted very good! It was exactly what I needed on a slow morning. In Roland Park and want a bagel? Look no further, friend.

Solid experience. I was randomly in the mood for a tomato basil sandwich and came upon this place. I was able to call in an order and go to pick it up. On the main street, parking can be limited, so plan accordingly. This was a quick drop in, but the experience was seamless and the food was pretty tasty. I would return to see what else they have to offer.

Roland Park Bagels has a bunch of unique bagel flavors like cranberry apple and sundried tomato. I ordered a breakfast powerhouse sandwich on a sundried tomato bagel. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy when I was there on a Saturday morning, the order was ready in less than 5 minutes! Roland Park Bagels doesn't have indoor seating at the moment, so I sat on the outdoor patio. The flavor of the sundried tomato wasn't super strong, but I still really enjoyed my bagel. They perfected the ratio of cream cheese to the veggie fillings!

Very good food fast service a tad expensive. Loved my food she loved hers. I ordered a chicken pesto and she ordered a bagel with salmon.

Um, why am I just now finding out about this place? And why are the reviews so low? As a sandwich lover who happens to be vegetarian, it can be exceptionally hard to find sandwich places that don't just offer the same boring vegetarian options. At Roland Park Bagels, they offer a vegan chicken Nashville-style sandwich, a vegan meatball sub, breakfast sandwiches with Just Egg, the Impossible burger (of course), caprese, and so many other delicious vegan/vegetarian options. I got the vegan chicken sandwich and it was delicious. It was also HUGE. If you're a person who enjoys large portions, please know that this is not an exaggeration. I could barely fit my mouth around the sandwich to take a bite. These are not complaints, just be warned. The sandwich comes with ruffled potato chips (or fries for a couple $$ extra). I also got a couple bagels (egg + everything) with the scallion cream cheese. Tried them the next morning and they were both great! Bagel wasn't 5 stars, but it did the job. RPB offers outdoor dining only. They are COVID-safe (cashier & cooks wear masks + require masking from customers) which was nice to see. Highly recommend this spot for vegans/vegetarians!

Guys, seriously if you are looking for the most amazing Vegan "chicken" sandwich that you never knew you needed in your life, you have to come here. If I didn't know any better I'd say they were lying because I legit thought it was real chicken but the joke is on me because it's 100% vegan deliciousness! It's the perfect amount of heat and sweetness! They also have a great selection of non vegan options. You really can't wrong. I highly recommend this place!!

    bagel and smoothie

No dining in the inside but fresh goodness you can smell. They have local goodies and items that they baked on site. The blueberry bagel gave a snap but was nice and soft in the inside. I'll be stopping back pass to try others.

I stopped by Roland Park Bagels a couple of days ago for breakfast with my mom, stepdad, and mother-in-law. We picked Roland Park Bagels, because they have vegan options for my mom. Most of their bagels are vegan (the obvious ones aren't, like egg and Parm & Romano), and they also offer Tofutti cream cheese and other vegan options. My mom tried the Just Egg & Cheese with Beyond Sausage on a plain bagel - like a vegan bodega breakfast sandwich - which she liked. The rest of our group aren't vegans and tried other things on the menu. My mother-in-law got a bagel with jam, while my stepdad and I got everything bagels with cream cheese, sliced nova lox, tomato, red onion, and capers. As of June 2021, they are still not doing indoor dining due to COVID, but we enjoyed our bagels at one of the tables outside. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast, and the service was good. I'd be happy to return for more bagels in the future.

Great sandwiches and coffee. The walls are usually adorned with local art. Sujanne is the best. A staple for the neighborhood!

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

The best breakfast I have ever had…read more I don't even know where to start. But if you are ever in Baltimore, this is an absolute must. Anytime I within 2 hours of the area I will be making time to come back here The Sweet Baby Jesus. The crispiest hashbrowns I ever had loaded with jumbo lump crab meat, cheese and perfectly poached eggs. When I come back I'm getting the crab Benedict on top of those biscuits The biscuits and gravy. I h have never had a bustin or gravy so good in my life. I genuinely think the gravy almost ruined the biscuit for how perfect that was. It was cutting like butter with a spoon and I could eat a dozen of those without anything The Captain Crunch French Toast. This is what got Guy Fieri here back in 08. Idk how the entirety of this was so perfectly coated to get that crunch with a fully cooked and soft inside still. Unbelievable The Pina Colada French Toast. Coated and cooked in toasted coconuts shavings topped with white chocolate mousse caramelized, banana and pineapple. The was the one we were iffy on and I can't even imagine not getting this next time I go back The cinnamon roll. I don't even need to speak on this. Just look at it I simply cannot believe how astonishing this spot was in every aspect. I will be making it out here at least once a year guaranteed and then whenever I can find an excuse to This was truly proper perfection The inside is VERY limited in seating and gets packed fast. If you wanna sit down, Arrive accordingly and early. Inside decor was giving Edgar Allan Poe. Lots of cool art

My husband and I recently dined at Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point, Baltimore, and were disappointed…read moreby our experience. The issue began when my husband politely asked a question about a menu item because it appeared to be spelled "browns" rather than "hash browns." He simply wanted clarification regarding what the item was. The server asked him for context, and he explained that he was referring to the item as it appeared on the menu. She then replied, "Oh, now I have context. That's a hash brown." My husband explained that because of the way it was written, he wasn't sure what it meant and was only asking a question before ordering. At that point, the server's tone became noticeably louder, and she responded, "Well, I only work here. I didn't write the menu." We found this response unnecessarily defensive and dismissive. At no point was my husband criticizing the server or correcting her. He was simply trying to understand a menu item. Shortly afterward, a different server began assisting our table, which gave us the impression that the original server was upset by the interaction. When my husband placed his order, he specifically requested that the restaurant's "animal sauce" be served on the side. The menu does not explain what animal sauce is, so he wanted to try it separately before putting it on his meal. When the food arrived, the dish was completely covered in the sauce rather than having it on the side as requested. Afterward, we learned that the sauce is a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. My husband does not eat mayonnaise and ketchup on eggs, which is exactly why he requested the sauce on the side. Unfortunately, because of the uncomfortable interaction earlier, he did not feel comfortable asking for the dish to be corrected and simply tried to eat around it. The meal was not inexpensive, and because the sauce had been poured over most of the food, he was unable to enjoy it. Approximately 80% of his meal was left uneaten. We understand that mistakes happen and that restaurant environments can be busy. However, customers should be able to ask questions about menu items and make simple requests without feeling uncomfortable or concerned about how those requests will be received. Description of waitress: Caucasian Middle aged Heavy set Extremely loud voice Rude ( nice/nasty) We wanted to share this feedback because the interaction negatively impacted our dining experience and left us feeling unwelcome. We hope this feedback is received in the spirit intended so that future guests feel comfortable asking questions and making requests without concern.
