This place is so cool! Awesome decor and music. Supreme vibes all around. Their classic donuts are great and my kid loves the crazy ones, especially "unicorn farts." They also make stellar breakfast Sammie's. Recommended the BEC on croissant.
Decent donut shop (came around 10AM)--got the cinnamon crunch donut which was a yeasted donut. The cereal on top was stale and the topping was a bit too sweet. The girl at the register didn't seem to know what donuts had what inside them. We asked what the fillings were for some and they kept going to the back to ask. The also didn't know which was a cake donut and had to get clarification.
Hey friends! One thing I'm gonna do for sure is reward myself with a sweet treat lol. I stopped by Diablos to celebrate leaving a job I hated which was close by. This was definitely the BEST way to celebrate. I'm still thinking about those donuts lol. Service was super friendly. I was greeted with a warm hello and smile from both employees. She was super patient with me as I decided with flavors I wanted because they all sounded so tempting! While these aren't the best donuts I've ever had, they're certainly good. They're worth the price. I paid about $13 for four donuts. The donuts are huge compared to average donuts such as Krispy Kreme. The texture is more on the doughy side, they're cake-like. I prefer light, airy donuts like Shoppers donuts. Even with all the toppings, I appreciated that they were not overly sweet. If I'm ever in the area I'll be sure to stop by at Diablos again. Delicious! We were craving some out of the ordinary donuts and Diablo hit the spot. The dough is super fluffy, idk, just straight up delicious.

Creative culinary innovations are made here at Diablo Doughnuts. A small batch artisan bakery packed with epic ideas and designs placed on to the top of each donut they serve. Giving a total new meaning to "serving up creativity." Who knew that a simple circle of fried dough could be so artsy! With that said...you won't find the norm donuts/doughnuts here. Instead of a simple glazed, powered cream filled or the typical apple fritter, you will find the "Bra Popper," "Lemon Meringue," "S'mores," "Everything But the Bagel," "Coffee Bean," "Your Mom," "Lemon Cookie Crunch," "Unicorn Farts," "Berry Cheesecake," "Sin Crunch," "Panty Dropper," "Homer," "Blackberry Lime," and "Raspberry Bomb," are just to name a few of Baltimore's favorites. If any of these sound interesting/appetizing, you'll have to stop in to check them out to taste them for yourself! Tip: If you go towards closing time, you'll get a few added to your box for free! They love to gift surprises.
Even though the restaurant was full to the brim when I walked in, they greeted every customer as soon as they walked through the door. While there was a long wait because they were busy, the staff was extremely polite and appreciative of everyone's patience and nobody seemed upset. Because it was so packed, I wasn't able to get pictures inside but it was an absolutely adorable place and I hope to be back soon! The donuts were delicious, we loved every one we had!

Not bad! The donuts are very beautiful, and I love the variety, hours are awesome as we'll we were driving through before a hike and it was one of the few places open that early! The creme brûlée donut - ample filling which is always a plus, but the caramelized sugar on top was hard of give that crack, which I would expect from the name. The Apple fritter was doughy and undercooked in the center, would have loved more apple pieces. My friend had no complaints about the maple bacon donut. Probably would try somewhere new over visiting again.
This place always has a line out the door. The doughnuts are good though not to mention fun and creative still tasty all at the same time.
This place was on my list when the location was closer to me. I went once, without planning, and got nothing. Tried once at this location, again without planning *smh at myself*, and they were almost sold out. Third time's a charm because I arrived as they were opening at 6am. There were 2 of us buying doughnuts and each person/employee greeted us with the warmest smiles and gratitude. It's a small but mighty and well decorated space. All doughnuts on display to help visual shoppers like me! I grabbed half a dozen to share since it's not so close. I got a glazed, a couple Panty Droppers, a Sin Crunch, a Berry Cheesecake and a Homer. I can personally vouch for the glazed, Panty Dropper and the Sin Crunch. All samples I had were delicious. Got rave reviews for the other 2 flavors as well. Such a good experience all around, I completely understand why it's best to place an order ahead of time.
These donuts were so delicious and such a great price considering the size and quality! The service was great, I really appreciate the girl answering all the questions that we asked about all the flavors! Definitely will be back!
Legit, creative, delicious yeast style donuts. Really enjoyed the Infringement aka Samoa style doughnut. The Cold Brew style donut and Blueberry Basil were super unique and tasty. The folks behind the counter were very nice and helpful as we made our selections. I'll definitely be back! read more

Recently Friday's have become a day my family dreads. Of course we can't walk around all doom and gloom so Friday's after our daughters medical treatments. We source out local dessert or treat spots to support. Today it was Diablo Doughnuts!! And WOW!!! I'm sooo happy we stopped in and I will be back and will tell anyone searching for a sweet treat that this is where you want to be. I believe there is a true art to donut making and Diablo Doughnuts has truly figured it out. I went with a few different ones and shared with our family who visited. We tried unicorn farts, pineapple cronut, lemon poppy and glazed twist just to name a few. They were perfection!! A nice golden outside and doughy center. The ratio of sweet/salty was spot on. Add in the superb customer service and genuine kindness of the staff. They made my gloomy Friday so much better!! read more

Customer service is top notch, unfortunately this rating goes for the donuts. From the outside the options they have are very interesting and made me want to take several of them home... once me and friend tried it... it was less than we expected surprisingly the best flavor was the classic sugar covered donut. We may give a second opportunity to this place. read more
Yummy yummy donuts !! I loved how creative the flavors were ! I got to try a variety of donuts and my favorites were the blueberry basil and the creme brûlée donut. These donuts are definitely on the sweeter end so if you have a sweet tooth, definitely a good pick for you. Service was really good too. We came in early ish around 8 am and there were already customers lining up for some donuts and other various baked goods. The person who was helping us with our order was extremely helpful and patient and would answer our questions about the items and also had a very energetic attitude. Donuts are on the more expensive side but it's definitely worth it for the quality of donut and the unique flavors they offer. Other items they offer include breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon roll, and more! The store isn't too big but there is some outside seating to sit at so you can eat your yummy baked goods and catch up with some friends/family. Overall, I would definitely recommend to come visit and try plus support your local businesses !! :) read more

This is hands down the best quality donuts I have had made with lov , not mass produced donuts. The crowbar donuts are amazing!!! If you are looking for awesome donuts, take a drive the area is up and coming ( a little sketchy but during the day seems pretty safe . There is a dive bar/ bbq place as part of it. I have visit multiple times customer service is awesome and super friendly my fur child got a piece of bacon. read more
Guys these are probably the best donuts I've had in a long time. Similar to fractured prune but they have very unique names and flavors such as rainbow fart and yo mom lol. My favorite donut was the s'mores one. The creme brûlée was good as well! But it had a little too much filling for me. Sugar donut was good to balance out the flavors. The donuts are not super sweet either! The service was great, fast and the guy at there front was patient and described each donut perfectly! The ambiance of the restaurant is very small, it's more ideal for to go orders! I just wish the donuts were more "fresh" like warmer. They were cold when i received them but nothing a microwave can't fix! read more

The creme brulee was very good! The custard was yummy and not too sweet. I appreciated that there was a good amount of custard because that's my favorite part. I really liked the burnt sugar top and it added a good texture to the squishy donut. My friend got the maple bacon donut and it was ok. Overall, the donuts are definitely better than Dunkin. Not sure if they're worth the price. read more
I once again made my way to this great establishment. Below is what I was able to sample. Sin Crunch (See previous reviews for thoughts) Berry Cheesecake - This was not bad. There was too much of a cream cheese taste here. 666 - This was the name of the honey mustard and onion I previously reviewed. I was just unaware of the name, same thoughts apply. The Nest - This donut was covered in chocolate sprinkles and robin eggs. It was an original and good tasting donut. Blackberry Lime (See previous review for thoughts). White Walker - This consisted of a blueberry filling along with cream cheese. This one I could not get behind because of the powerful cream cheese taste. The blueberry could hardly be tasted. Mexican Hot Chocolate - This was a chocolate icing donut with a partial marshmallow. It was tasty. The combination of marshmallow and chocolate was ideal. Your Mom - I believe this was the name. This was another chocolate icing donut with peanut butter on top. I thought this particular donut as a whole was dry. Fluffer Nutter - This was not a donut, but a condensed version of a banana and marshmallow sandwich. There appeared to be banana chips with a marshmallow glaze on top. Look, it's impossible to get a bad doughnut at Diablo's -- the only downside is the amount of time it took me to choose "the right 12." The flavors are creative and perfectly executed; the tastes are, dare I say, heavenly. Sure, visit for the divine doughnuts, but I'm betting you will keep coming back because of the friendly staff. I asked a lot of questions and they had knowledgeable and friendly answers for all of them. It felt like they appreciated me being there as much as I enjoyed their doughnuts. 10/10. Would recommend. read more

-Donut For me their donut it's a little bit too sweet but I really like the uniqueness and it's from local. The strawberry on the donut can balance the sweetness from the cream. I also really like the s'mores donut. -Location There are plenty of street parking in front of the store -Order I went to this place twice, first time I showed up around 11:30 on a Friday morning. The store was closed and I checked on Facebook, they are sold out! So the following week I preordered on Thursday morning on their website and pick 9:35 as pickup time on Friday morning. It worked amazing! They prepared my donut and I just stopped by and pick it up. Highly recommended to preorder online! read more
Diablo Doughnuts is where you go if you want to buy a beautiful batch doughnuts to share with a group of people who will inevitably want to take a photo of them and wonder where they're from. The workers know they're beautiful because they will ask if you want to take a picture of your order before they tape up the box. I like how they're open early enough (7AM weekdays) to grab a box before your office starts the workday and how they have lots of art inside. My favorites include: 1) Unicorn Farts (Yeast doughnut, vanilla glaze, covered in Fruity Pebbles) 2) Captain Chesapeake (Caramel Old Bay) - don't miss out on this unique doughnut! 3) Sin Crunch (Topped with the most cinnamon you're ever seen) 1-2 doughnuts with coffee would make a delicious breakfast. The first part of this review is for their customer service. I messaged to find out their walk up hours because they weren't posted anywhere, and they told me their hours for that next day (Friday). As it turned out, I couldn't make it on Friday but went on Saturday morning instead, assuming their hours were the same. Imagine my surprise when I arrived just before 6am and waited for 10-15 minutes and the shop was still closed. I messaged them and glad they responded pretty quickly, but they told me they didn't open until 8am on Saturdays. I expressed that they ought to have their hours on their IG and website....and they had the nerve to reply that they did! (Never mind that a friend who thought she could stop by for me also couldn't find their hours posted anywhere). So trying to be helpful, I sent them a screen record of me scrolling through their website AND of their IG page, and no hours. Did they thank a caring customer? Nope, they said "We open at 8am Saturday Sunday morning and Friday at 6am . You could have called we have been here all night we get here at 9pm to start . I can't help till 8". I was so frustrated by this point because they were missing the point: they didn't have hours posted and when a customer let them know, they didn't even apologize or say thank you. Anyhow, to this day their website still doesn't list their hours. Their IG page has been updated though. So you're welcome. The second part of this review is for their doughnuts. I went back on Sunday and ordered 6. I was really looking forward to berry cheesecake, but it was just ok, not sweet enough for my liking. The other specialty doughnuts weren't bad. I don't live in Baltimore so I don't feel the need to make a special trip just to go back. And especially because of the poor customer experience via IG. ***update after I received a "compliment" (hmmm..why not just reply to the review?) from someone at the shop; pic attached*** No, not mad at all. And no, didn't expect them to open early. Simply advised on posting hours and general customer service. These are my thoughts on my experience that I think others should be aware of...that's what a review is. But the response I received says it all, folks. read more
We were at federal hill area to celebrate yelp Baltimore elite badge celebration. Since this was my first time at Federal Hill, I was interested in walking around the neighborhood to see some interesting restaurants, bars or local business. On my way I came across this wonderful women who directed me to Diablo Doughnuts as she said that they serve the best doughnuts in Baltimore period. So with all the hype surrounding this place, I had to check this one out. Unfortunately, it was around 2:50 pm on Saturday afternoon and to my disappointment they were getting ready to close. So I was left with a couple of doughnut options and chocolate milk. I tried their honey glazed ginger doughnut and mint flavored hot chocolate. The doughnut was especially every soft and delicious. Loved the ginger flavor on my doughnut. I had been a huge fan Boston cream and I still am but this goes right at the top of my list. Do definitely check this out when you visit Federal hill. Woah woah woah! Why have I never been here! Even during Covid this amazing donut shop is ON POINT! I have to come back when I'm not so full from brunchin in fed because this place is a whole meal! I got the cheesecake donut and the hubs got the caramel popcorn! Mine was so rich and creamy and the strawberry on top was perfectly fresh. I would have loved to reviewed the caramel popcorn one but it must have been too good because when I asked for a bite I got a "no way" Def coming back!!!! read more

Not what we expected, but don't know what we expected? Small hole in the wall in a strip center, beautiful doughnuts, which is how they tasted. I'm kinda a glazed doughnut person, but it's to much fun to try different ones. Great for a cheat day or week or month. Haha. You won't be disappointed! Now I know why they were rated the #1 doughnut in Baltimore. read more

I've been wanting to come here ever since I heard about it on 98 Rock. My friend and I arrived on a Sunday and the place was closed with a sign saying "Sold Out". Now I really wanted to try it. I showed up just myself first thing in the morning on Wednesday. There were already people crammed inside waiting. The place was a lot smaller than I anticipated. There's really no where to sit, mainly just takeout. I saw the display of donuts and when it was my time to order I froze. I just pointed to the six donuts on the last row of the display. I can't even remember all six flavors. The wait wasn't too bad maybe 5 minutes. I was under impression donuts were already made like DK. But alas I was wrong. I think they make it fresh in their kitchen, hence everyone waiting. I only ate one of the donuts, the chocolate one which had a cream filling. It was good. Nothing spectacular. The rest of the donuts I gave to my coworkers. They said it tasted good but they mentioned it was too much cream. The price was between $3-4 each donut. Would I go back? Sure, it's a decent donut and the people there are working hard. read more

My first experience with local Baltimore donuts and I will absolutely be back, and earlier in the morning to make sure I have my pick of the full selection! The donuts are substantial and fluffy. The toppings taste fresh and the dough itself is truly delightful. I appreciate all employees wearing masks and the adorable chalk-drawn donuts down the sidewalk to maintain safe distance between customers. Employees were friendly and on top of ensuring they checked whether you were picking up at the window or if you had placed an online order. Parking is tricky, but that's the area. If you like cold brew, theirs was delicious! I can't wait to go back and get a Rocky Road (I'm a sucker for chocolate cake donuts). read more

So I've been wanting to try this place since before moving to Maryland almost two years ago...Let me preface this review in saying I was so scared these were going to be overhyped. I have yet to find really amazing donuts since moving here despite reading a ton of glowing reviews. I have to say these donuts are TO DIE FOR. Legitimately the very best donut I've had in Maryland, hands down. The frostings are all perfectly fluffy and not overly sweet and both the cake and yeast donuts had the best texture. My daughter and husband both agreed that these are amazing as well, five stars all across the board. I can't wait to come back, despite living over an hour away. The staff were all super friendly as well and we waited only a few minutes for our box despite it being a busy Saturday morning (the Saturday before Easter no less!). read more

Diablo Donuts you definitely live up to the hype! Clever flavor concoctions with a delicious, puffy, cakey base make this Fed Hill hot spot's morsels hard to resist. We had a hard time narrowing to just 4, ultimately going with Unicorn Farts, the "Basic", the Panty Dropper and Captain Chesapeake. Highly recommend ordering with "family style" in kind so that you can sample and share! I won't even bother to power rank these 4 flavors and will instead say get over to their shop and give them a try yourself! read more

SO GOOD!! Not a sweets person but I love these donuts. Picture perfect AND delicious. The inside is kind of small but decorated super cute and love that they had contactless payment. The staff was friendly and nice to my kids and even though there was a line they blew through it super quickly (without feeling rushed. A must-try if you live in this area and these donuts make a great gift (office, housewarming, etc). read more

From the outside, this place looked so cool! Brightly painted with donuts on the wall and on the inside, there's lots of skateboards that have nice designs on them. As I was waiting in line looking at my various options for donuts, I noticed that there were fruit flies flying all around the donuts and landing on them... then the server would proceed to hand the donut to whatever customer ordered it. Maybe it's just a me thing, but I was completely turned off by this, so when it was my turn to order, I just snagged a nitro cold brew coffee instead. I asked if they could leave room for cream a sugar. When I got to the sugar station, I noticed a dead fruit fly in the sugar container, so naturally, I opted out of sugar in my coffee and just added some vanilla creamer. Even without the sugar, the coffee was great - and certainly the most enjoyable thing from my visit. read more
Tip: They recently moved and are located in Federal Hill not Fells Point. First visit, definitely won't be the last. I ended up with 7 doughnuts and it was major surprise to which ones I liked the most and least. Here is the order I would put them in: 1. Sugar: so airy and fluffy I could die 2. Blackberry Lime: tart and delicious 3. Chesapeake Caramel: really weird but worked, would recommend trying it, savory and sweet flavor profile 4. Cinnamon Toast Crunch: cinnamon-y like the cereal but the little flakes of cereal were soggy 5. Samoa: ok so it tasted like the Girl Scout cookie but oddly it just wasn't good, the coconut elements were really chewy and I think it needed more chocolate drizzle 6. Maple Bacon: no maple flavor and the bacon was chewy and cold 7. Strawberry Cheesecake: so I expected to like this one the most and it ended up being the one I liked the least, really heavy and the ratio of the cheesecake topping was way too much for the donut. read more
It's a cool doughnut shop with good vibes. First timer here and staff was awesome. Was given a little description to each flavor and sweet lady behind the counter had patience as I'm trying to slim down my choices. I didn't want to go too crazy! Doughnuts are nice sized, light and airy, with the right amount of sweetness. Be sure to follow them on social media for daily flavors since they're rotated. Until you have the craving for gourmet donuts in Baltimore you don't realize how lacking we are in that department! At first I was a little bummed to have to drive south of the city for a donut craving but after actually getting and tasting the donuts, I'll drive to Diablo any time. The large variety of traditional and non traditional flavors was excellent and not a single donut we had was a "miss." My only complaint was the iced coffee was pretty meh, but I have high iced coffee standards so that could be just me. Can't wait to try more donut flavors! read more

Chesapeake I loved the Chesapeake donut! Being a Marylander this was perfect! The donut was big, thick and moist. Texture was on point. The Old bay caramel glaze was the perfect salty and sweet ratio. I loved how the donuts were not overly sweet. Well worth the trip. I hadn't tried the others. Will update later with the other flavors. read more
Great doughnuts every time! They put a lot of love, care and great flavor into their food. They usually sell out of their doughnuts so don't wait til the last minute. We like the panty dropper, the crepe brûlée, the new el Barto was good. My daughter likes the blueberry basil and sinncrunch. The cold brew is terrific and strong. The people are always cool who work here. They have tried their best during the pandemic and been doing online preorders and recently have some available for walk ups with a new window service. They have been very clean, wearing masks, providing hand sanitizer and taking all recommended health precautions. Parking is spotty but you can usually find a spot on that block. This is a great local business and they provide something wonderful to the community. Worth a trip across town if you like huge fresh bomb doughnuts! read more
We ordered ahead last week online to pickup a dozen doughnuts for this past weekend. With COVID restrictions the ordering/pickup process is a little different but super easy to navigate. These are the best doughnuts you will ever have and totally worth trying! Can't wait to order from here again. read more

You must visit! Walking in we got greeted by every employee "good morning" with a smile! Atmosphere was great, music playing, great vibes! Kitchen staff were laughing and having a good time! From donuts to breakfast sandwiches and the smash burger, everything was amazing! Such a large selection on donuts you get lost on what to choose! read more

I'm not sure what part of town you are coming from, but it is right outside of the Beltway, in the shopping center where Carrabba's is located. 7698 Belair Rd Suite 101, Nottingham, MD 21236
Do any regular customers have info/tips on parking? Since Diablo moved, I've only gotten Diablo from closer sellers (e.g. Bmore Licks, Cafe Latte'da), and I rarely drive to Federal Hill.
