This place is so cool! Awesome decor and music. Supreme vibes all around. Their classic donuts are great and my kid loves the crazy ones, especially "unicorn farts." They also make stellar breakfast Sammie's. Recommended the BEC on croissant.
Decent donut shop (came around 10AM)--got the cinnamon crunch donut which was a yeasted donut. The cereal on top was stale and the topping was a bit too sweet. The girl at the register didn't seem to know what donuts had what inside them. We asked what the fillings were for some and they kept going to the back to ask. The also didn't know which was a cake donut and had to get clarification.
Hey friends! One thing I'm gonna do for sure is reward myself with a sweet treat lol. I stopped by Diablos to celebrate leaving a job I hated which was close by. This was definitely the BEST way to celebrate. I'm still thinking about those donuts lol. Service was super friendly. I was greeted with a warm hello and smile from both employees. She was super patient with me as I decided with flavors I wanted because they all sounded so tempting! While these aren't the best donuts I've ever had, they're certainly good. They're worth the price. I paid about $13 for four donuts. The donuts are huge compared to average donuts such as Krispy Kreme. The texture is more on the doughy side, they're cake-like. I prefer light, airy donuts like Shoppers donuts. Even with all the toppings, I appreciated that they were not overly sweet. If I'm ever in the area I'll be sure to stop by at Diablos again. Delicious! We were craving some out of the ordinary donuts and Diablo hit the spot. The dough is super fluffy, idk, just straight up delicious.

Creative culinary innovations are made here at Diablo Doughnuts. A small batch artisan bakery packed with epic ideas and designs placed on to the top of each donut they serve. Giving a total new meaning to "serving up creativity." Who knew that a simple circle of fried dough could be so artsy! With that said...you won't find the norm donuts/doughnuts here. Instead of a simple glazed, powered cream filled or the typical apple fritter, you will find the "Bra Popper," "Lemon Meringue," "S'mores," "Everything But the Bagel," "Coffee Bean," "Your Mom," "Lemon Cookie Crunch," "Unicorn Farts," "Berry Cheesecake," "Sin Crunch," "Panty Dropper," "Homer," "Blackberry Lime," and "Raspberry Bomb," are just to name a few of Baltimore's favorites. If any of these sound interesting/appetizing, you'll have to stop in to check them out to taste them for yourself! Tip: If you go towards closing time, you'll get a few added to your box for free! They love to gift surprises.
Even though the restaurant was full to the brim when I walked in, they greeted every customer as soon as they walked through the door. While there was a long wait because they were busy, the staff was extremely polite and appreciative of everyone's patience and nobody seemed upset. Because it was so packed, I wasn't able to get pictures inside but it was an absolutely adorable place and I hope to be back soon! The donuts were delicious, we loved every one we had!

Not bad! The donuts are very beautiful, and I love the variety, hours are awesome as we'll we were driving through before a hike and it was one of the few places open that early! The creme brûlée donut - ample filling which is always a plus, but the caramelized sugar on top was hard of give that crack, which I would expect from the name. The Apple fritter was doughy and undercooked in the center, would have loved more apple pieces. My friend had no complaints about the maple bacon donut. Probably would try somewhere new over visiting again.
This place always has a line out the door. The doughnuts are good though not to mention fun and creative still tasty all at the same time.
This place was on my list when the location was closer to me. I went once, without planning, and got nothing. Tried once at this location, again without planning *smh at myself*, and they were almost sold out. Third time's a charm because I arrived as they were opening at 6am. There were 2 of us buying doughnuts and each person/employee greeted us with the warmest smiles and gratitude. It's a small but mighty and well decorated space. All doughnuts on display to help visual shoppers like me! I grabbed half a dozen to share since it's not so close. I got a glazed, a couple Panty Droppers, a Sin Crunch, a Berry Cheesecake and a Homer. I can personally vouch for the glazed, Panty Dropper and the Sin Crunch. All samples I had were delicious. Got rave reviews for the other 2 flavors as well. Such a good experience all around, I completely understand why it's best to place an order ahead of time.
These donuts were so delicious and such a great price considering the size and quality! The service was great, I really appreciate the girl answering all the questions that we asked about all the flavors! Definitely will be back!

I stopped by Diabolo Doughnuts after hearing great things about their doughnuts from locals. Unfortunately it was around closing time, so they did run out of many flavors, but I took it as a sign that they must be doing something right! I decided to go with a box of 4 flavors, which were the Glazed, two Unicorn Farts (Classic yeast doughnut with vanilla bean glaze tossed in fruity ceral and a signature HOT PINK drizzle) and one Sin Crunch (Classic yeast doughnut in a vanilla bean glaze tossed in cinnamon sugar, signature HOT PINK drizzle with cereal down the doughnut hole). The doughnuts are gorgeous and really big so I was shocked that they were so affordable. After taking some pictures, I took a bite out of the Unicorn Farts and fell in love! The doughnut was fluffy, sweet and delicious. I also took a bite of the Sin Crunch and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves cinnamon sugar! All in all, Diablo Doughnuts has an eclectic & delicious menu, friendly staff and a very chill ambiance. Next time I stop by, I'll be sure to arrive early so I can try out some of their other amazing flavors! read more

Best donuts in Baltimore hands down! They are always super fresh (as they stay up all night making their delicious concoctions) and absolutely scrumptious. My favorite is the Strawberry Cheesecake which is a yeast raised with cream cheese frosting topped with strawberry slices. You will not be disappointed. read more
Man, I was just not a fan of these donuts at all. I opted for two donuts based on popularity on Yelp: the blueberry basil and the one with the Old Bay seasoning. I also opted for a seasonal special: golden latte with turmeric as I have a weakness for golden lattes. Sadly, all of these donuts fell very short for me, especially with their hefty price tag ($2+ per donut). For the blueberry basil, it's basically a normal donut that is topped with blueberry basil. Most of the donut has no flavor as it's just a normal donut with the topping. I wish that it had chunks of berries/basil throughout the actual donut - not just the topping. The golden latte one was just a-okay in my book again. It was actually a good texture donut, but the flavor was lacking again, IMO. The Old Bay seasoning one was the best, most unique out of the three I tried. It was odd tasting salty on top of the donut, but the topping made for a unique experience. Sadly, again, the actual donut had no flavoring and just wasn't a good tasting donut like I've had elsewhere. Sadly, I couldn't finish any of them and ended up tossing about half of each of them. Maybe they're just not for me, and that's totally okay, but I was not a huge fan of them as the flavors lacked overall. read more

First off, I'm knocking off one star not for the taste of the donuts but because my husband decided to surprise me with donuts this morning by driving an hour round trip only to come home to 1 donut missing from his order. He claimed that he didn't get a receipt--it's also very possible that he had one and threw it away, he does have bad memory but probably not bad enough to have eaten a donut on the way home and forgot about it lol but at this point it's too late since we won't be driving all the way back. Rookie move for not checking the box before leaving. We each started off our morning with the unicorn fart (fruity pebbles) and a cup of coffee. Pure fluffy delight. I'm not sure if it's all the donuts they carry but all the ones in the box seem to be yeast based, which in good with because I'm not a fan of dense cake donuts. I'm eyeballing the rest of the donuts that we plan on splitting throughout the day!! We are currently deciding if we should give our toddler a taste of the sugar high or just hide it from him to prevent a potential meltdown waiting to happen from the sugar low or not being able to have to rest to himself! read more

Intriguingly designed doughnuts, but the simple yeast base for elaborate icing is the kind of thing I usually try only once. Similar to shops selling brightly decorated cupcakes that vary only by icing (at least based on the ones I tried), these are more of an instagram thing or a place to bring a date. Unfortunately both of those draws are less compelling in a cramped shop whose shared space turns into a pizza joint at night. My rating is more of a 3.5 since I like eclectic, locally-owned shops, but this is a place that was more a checkbox than a place I'd return. However, they are rumored to be moving to a larger space in Federal Hill soon; a nicer space and coffee availability would definitely bump up my rating. read more

Scoped this place out online for breakfast as we were staying at an airbnb down the street. So. Good. Clean and decorated with a sharp skate punk vibe. The folks there were as nice and sweet as the doughnuts. Love that they had the King Cake... Tis' the season. The Blueberry Basil and Blackberry Lime were almost too pretty to eat, and tasted as good as they looked. read more

6 weekends in a row my roommate and I have been to this small business Donut Shop in Brooklyn Park area, and it's been a phenomenal experience for us every time! Tried Diablo for the first time. Absolutely incredible. My wife had questions about the types of donuts and they answered her questions, made suggestions, and they were amazingly helpful. The donuts are fresh and you can tell they are made with a lot of love. I also tried the bottled caramel coffee and that was amazing as well. We highly recommend these donuts for any occasion. read more

Solid little doughnut shop in Federal Hill. Diverse selection with some great flavors. Seems to an option for everyone. If you're a first timer, or I suppose if you needed a refresher, the friendly staff will discuss each flavor so you can accurately pick your poison. Over my two stops, I had three different ones. Day one I loaded up on the carbs and ordered two. Peach Mint, which I think may be a seasonal one based on the sign out front. This was pretty good, for my personal taste a little too minty, still crushed it, however. Next, was Maple Bacon. Yeah. Enough said. Oh, you should known they call this one the Panty Dropper. On my second trip I exercised more control and order just one. A Unicorn Fart. This baby was covered with Fruity Pebbles. It was as expected and fun to eat. They must keep that horned horse in back cause I never saw it, or smelled it for that matter. The coffee is good, as well. Fresh and hot, but no fancy barista activity here, just be warned if that your thing. Cold brew os also available. Even though I had my own cup, I was told they could not fill it up. So I had to take the paper cup which I promptly threw in the waste basket, after transferring my coffee to my travel cup. This may frustrate some. There are other drink selections as well, if you'd like. Certainly worth a stop if you're in the area. read more

I really like visiting this place with my boys. The guys are super friendly and patient and will go through each donut flavor with you. I've enjoyed all the flavors I've tasted. The coffee is super strong should you decide to taste it. I don't remember all the flavors we got but my boys are particularly fond of the Unicorn Farts. I come here daily for breakfast. Double egg on a croissant and 2 doughnuts. I always feel welcomed and appreciated when I come in to the shop. The atmosphere is right up my alley as well. 10 stars. read more
Donuts were pretty good. We ordered the blueberry and the cinnamon crunch. The blueberry had a nice sweet fruity flavor exterior with savory crumb. At the end of the day when we bought this, the crumb was slightly dry. Similar thing with the cinnamon crunch. The flavors on the outside were pleasantly sugary but the crumb was too close to a dry cake. read more
These are definitely the best doughnuts I have tried in the city so far. We tried the smores, unicorn farts, the blackberry one (?) and the cinnamon toast crunch one. I was most excited for the unicorn farts because it has an amazing name and fruity pebbles are my jam, but in all honesty, this was the one I liked the least. I felt like the cereal tasted stale, which threw off the whole doughnut for me. My favorite (and my husband's too) was the cinnamon toast crunch! Heel ya. Next fav was the blackberry (the glaze on here, just yes!) and then the smore. I enjoyed the torched mallows on the smore, done perfectly. All I can say is that it's worth the almost hour drive from upper Marboro to Baltimore to get these delectable treats. I have tried over a dozen flavors- Captain Chesapeake, berry cheesecake, and toasted coconut ( think Samoa Girl Scout cookie but better- I said what I said!!!) are my faves- and all of them were beyond good. I used to bring 2 dozen of these bad boys to work once a month. They are such a hit! All of Diablo Doughnuts are so colorful, playful and yummy! I have tried almost all of their flavors but here are some of my favorites: 1. Unicorn Farts ($2.50 each) - come on, the name itself should make you want to buy one of this doughnut. It's basically colorful cereal crusted doughnut but it's so much fun to look at! 2. Panty Dropper ($3.00 each) - I crack up every time I say this. This doughnut is a maple bacon doughnut. I know it sounds weird that there is a crispy bacon on top of a maple glazed doughnut but trust me, it works! Yum! 3. Samoa ($2.50 each) - if you are like me and end up buying 10 boxes of girl scouts cookies then this is the doughnut for you. This doughnut imitates the coconut coated, chocolatey, caramely goodness that comes with Samoa cookies. Argh, heaven. 4. Strawberry Shortcake ($3.00 each) - I think this is a special flavor because I don't see it every time I go but this is my favorite. It's absolutely gorgeous how the strawberries are cut up and placed on top of the doughnut with cream filling. The sweet and tart flavors of the strawberry cuts through and complements the heavy, creamy taste of the filling. It's probably like 500 calories but when it's this delicious, I will gladly eat it and clog my arteries. Everyone that I have interacted with here are super friendly. Also, I organized an event with them where I had to feed 200 people and they were very accommodating and made the donuts half the size so that it was more of a "bite-sized" doughnut. Tips: They are closed on Monday AND Tuesday. If you want fresh doughnuts, you need to be there super early - I usually go around 8 am. read more

The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason they did not get a full 5 stars was because of the price of these donuts which are anywhere between $2 to almost $4 per donuts depending on how extravagant the piece is. A regular sugar donut can cost $2 to a Strawberry Cheesecake for $3.75. Don't get me wrong, the donuts are good, but you are not buying a dozen for your co-workers every other week. You might do 1 or 2 for yourself, but not likely to share these. The location and parking can get a little busy anytime after 10 am, but parking is free until 9 am most mornings. read more

Tasty treat in Federal Hill area and only a 13 minute walk from my hotel in the Inner Harbor. They have seating inside or you can grab n go. My favorite was the Rocky Road since I am a huge chocolate and cake doughnut fan. They also charge per doughnut so no discount by how many you buy. To me that doesn't matter since they put some work into these babies! read more

So this was my first doughnut review and what a way to start. This place maybe small but the doughnuts were awesome. They are a denser made doughnut than normal and are large with large amount of toppings. They might be a little pricey but you basically get two in one. You won't need a second. It is off the grid a bit but worth the drive. read more

Tried Diablo out a while ago. Super impressed. Better Than anything at fractured prune or Duck Doughnuts. The Creme Brulee was hands down my fave. A closed second is unicorn farts or the maple bacon. Not a bad one in the bunch. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Where is Diablo donuts located?
I'm not sure what part of town you are coming from, but it is right outside of the Beltway, in the shopping center where Carrabba's is located. 7698 Belair Rd Suite 101, Nottingham, MD 21236
Do any regular customers have info/tips on parking? Since Diablo moved, I've only gotten Diablo from closer sellers (e.g. Bmore Licks, Cafe Latte'da), and I rarely drive to Federal Hill.
