I wouldn't recommend him to anyone and I don't wish anyone going through the same thing that I went through. I'm from out of town and needed a new gel manicure before Thanksgiving- I had a pedicure which was haphazard at best and both my daughter and I had gel manicures- we thoroughly enjoyed our manicures on the Tuesday before the holiday but it didn't last anywhere near what mine normally last so we went back on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving to get new gel manicures before I left for home. My daughter's was great from the gal but I got a guy that did a horrible job on both the manicure and the paint!!! I walked out with snags and paint on several side cuticles- and he never once painted more than 3 nails at a time then kept pulling my hands out before the light was done so none of the nails got the whole time under the light then when the light would go out if I wasn't paying attention he'd tell me to turn light on!! Glad I don't live down here- first experience was good but didn't last long! read more

Always have had a good experience here! The ladies are very nice here and make you feel welcome. My mani and pedis have always lasted long and I can usually get an appointment right away. I was looking for a new nail salon since my lady quit and I researched the best on yelp. I got hapi nails. Upon reading the reviews and tips, I was urged to make an appt. I did. The salon itself is beautiful. I went at 10 am on Wednesday. There were 4 women. I pulled up a picture of what I wanted. The tech, lyn, said no problem. Other than my ring fingers were not the same length, The acrylic was fine. The paint job and design was subpar. How hard is it to make a heart? I was very disappointed with my visit. I am just visiting Tucson and wanted to get a pedicure and had seen good reviews for this place. I went in and got sat quickly before I could even pick a color. Once the girl started painting my toes her sleeve touched the fresh nail polish and obviously left a smudge. Had I been at home doing my own nails I would have started over but the lady just added one more coat of paint on it. It looked terrible! Amazing French pedi and the best French gel mani I've ever had. The Tech's are funny and sweet. Love this place!

Absolutely awful service. Had a 5:30 appt with them to get my nails done for a wedding. I walk in and say hello and literally not one person in there turned to say hello back. Extremely rude staff. I then told them I had a 5:30 appt. again no response. I wait 15 minutes and get up to leave. THEN, and only then does one of the nail techs even acknowledge my presence. I ask how long the wait since it's already 15 past my appt time, she asks me if I have an appt and I say yes. She says "oh ok 5 minutes". So I wait 15 more minutes. Again everyone goes back to not even acknowledging my presence. Very very rude staff that apparently don't realize that you can walk 50 yards and hit another nail place. I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want decent customer service. I will never being going back and I will spread the word of their awful attitudes. read more

I've been a customer of Hapi nails for nearly a year now and, even though I'm moving to Marana in a few months, I'll make the commute! Hapi Nails and Reflexology is worth the trip. Their salon is impeccably clean, the staff is always friendly, greets me by name and they always accommodate my needs. I'm blind and the staff go out of their way to insure I'm comfortable and recrive exactly the services I want. They help me with nail color and insure I know of new products I might enjoy. You don't need a reservation but I recommend one as they can get busy, especially on weekends. I try to make my appointments for mid-week. I highly recommend Hapi Nails and suggest you try the deluxe pedicure! The affordable price can get you in the door but it's the friendly welcoming atmosphere that will hook you! read more

Extremely disappointed. I sent my beautiful wife to get her nails done for an end of the week treat. She requested for the acrylics to be applied to her nails. So I know for a fact that they do a wonderful job on nails here. So I figured, hmm... I can probably go there to get my eyebrows waxed, since they do such a good job at everything they do... or so I thought. So I follow the older Asian woman with a head piece on. I'm thinking to myself huh, they must be really busy here. So it's a pretty nice room she leads me to, the table is quite comfortable and she tells me, " I make your eyebrows look very nice, watch! Trust me!" So I respond "that's why I'm even in here, you are the professional right? I just want them cleaned up and I like them thick and natural, just clean them up " she said,"okay". So first she gets my unibrow, which truth be told was the main reason I was there!(obviously) and so far so good but then she started getting into the top and bottom of my brows and I almost asked her if she can show me the papers so I can see how much hair was waxed off but I didn't want to seem rude but I could feel she was over waxing but thought maybe it's in my head. So she starts tweeting after she's done waxing and then gives me the mirror my first thought and words were " aren't you going to trim them as well" and she says " yes I just want to see if you like the shape before I trim" as if it would matter. Personally I think she forgot and just said that to save her butt. But then I look into the mirror and was instantly sick to my stomach I looked like a sloth with extremely uneven thin eyebrows!!!!!!! She tried telling me she didn't take that much off as if I can't see and I don't know my own eyebrows! The nerve of this woman first off to say that! And I tell her I wanted them CLEANED UP and Natural! Not to shape them how she wants! I'm in complete disbelief every single time I look in the mirror I walked out in tears. On the bright side she didn't make me pay, so I at least didn't have to pay for this atrocity! My eyebrows were the best thing about my face ! I ALWAYS got compliments on how perfect they were! I have been to all sorts of places to get my eyebrows done they just needed a clean up ! Nothing more I was very specific about that! I'm just appalled at the poor job she did at listening to what I asked for. And instead did what she wanted to do. I'm infuriated I can't even stop thinking about it! Hmmm, I suppose with most nail places it depends who you get. This was my first visit and even though the location is great, I'm not sure l'll be back. The good: clean, nice, reasonable prices ($36) and prompt with an appointment. A OK selection of colors, though a bit more variety would be nice. As for the mani/pedi with Kim, there was definatley more to be desired. She was pretty rough, distracted (turning and taking and forgetting what she was doing) and in a big hurry. I've never had a manicure hurt until now, and the massage made me more tense. The polish job was worse than what I can do myself, I ended up asking for another color after the 3rd nail because 'the lines aren't clean (it was a matte color and after one layer it was a goppy mess that would never look good) and went with a clear glitter that's pretty hard to mess up. That said, there are still bubbles and areas not painted. A while ago a friend got a mani here and immediately took off the polish because it was so messy. Must need to have the inside track on who to ask for. Yikes. read more

I was really impressed with this place. I made an appointment for my friend and I to get pedicures on a Friday afternoon. When we walked in the place was clean, cheery, and they were waiting for us. It did not smell like acrylic nails like some of these places do. It smells like lovely spa lotions. The two women working on our feet were friendly, courteous, and in great moods. We were laughing and telling stories for most of the time we were in there getting our nails done. Really enjoyed the ambiance and it was a great experience. For a $27 pedicure I could not have wanted more. Will definitely be going back to get a manicure in the next couple days! read more

Literally the worst nail experience of my life. I had to ask multiple times for what i wanted done for my nails and he still didn't do it and said he was right. The nails are some of the worst I've had done. On top of that they charged my card twice and said it still didn't go through. They then forced us to get cash and pay for it. So overall my nails were charge 54$ three times. Now I get to deal with the bank for these idiots mistakes. NEVER GO HERE! They are rude, have terrible service, and will overcharge you because they can't figure out how to charge a damn card. read more

Tried Hapi Nails because a few friends told me it was the best place for a mani/pedi in Tuscon, and, having been there a few times, I definitely agree. They're professional and friendly, the atmosphere is very calming, and I've always gotten just what I asked for. I think they're reasonably priced (they're definitely competitively priced for Tucson, and a bargain for the quality), and because the work is well-done, it lasts. Well sadly this love affiar did not last. Not to say I would never return because this place is not bad at all, however it is pricier than other salons around. The last time I went in I was charged $67 for a shellac mani/deluxe pedi. The deluxe pedicure is great complete with a hot towel, scented lotion and good massage. Manicures aren't as luxurious with a brief lotiony rub and then they scoot you out the door. My biggest let down was a few weeks ago when I took in a picture of a simple design I wanted done on my hands. The lady flat out refused. She took a quick look at the photo and said 'No'. Um ok. I completely understand not being artistically inclined but not even a suggestion for what she felt comfortable doing? Nope she would only do a basic solid color. Ok fine, I found my new salon across the street and so far so good. But if you do go here book an appointment with Rosie she is awesome and seems to be pretty popular. read more

I visited Hapi Nails on a Monday afternoon around 4pm and they were able to fit me in for a gel manicure if I could wait ten minutes which I certainly could. Bee did my nails and she was very gentle and did a wonderful job with my gel French manicure, I was wanting to get my nails done before going on vacation and never get them done and she did a great job. I have shorter nails and she made the tips look noticeable but not too thick. I was really pleased with the job that she did on my nails. I chose to go to Hapi Nails after reading their yelp reviews and I'm happy that I chose to go here. The clients that left prior to me getting my nails done were extremely happy and showing me their nails and they really loved them. The staff here is super friendly and the decor is tasteful, relaxing music is playing and it is a very nice nail salon. Very happy with my manicure and would certainly go here again. read more

The girl ( who never had a name or license by her chair) She massaged one hand not the other she was looking at over and when I spoke of concerns for nails she said yes yes yes. I'm giving 2 stars because the first time I went was great, however, the second time was the worst nail experience I've EVER had. I usually always tip at least 10% even with horrible service but this time I just could not justify even a penny tip. I had a fill with Peter and he was extremely rude! He handed me the gel options and then gave me attitude for not choosing quick enough in his opinion, saying "you still haven't chosen, come on!" Not only was his attitude horrible, he was very violent and aggressive with my nails and hands. I asked if he was in a hurry and he replied "I'm just trying to get my job done" I asked for coffin shape and he chopped off half my nail and made it square. I asked him to correct it and he rolled his eyes and told me it is coffin shape... Absolutely horrible. Even the costumers next to me were shocked by his attitude! I tried this place 2 years ago. I was very hesitant on going to get my nails done because I heard horror stories about people getting fungus and and unsanitary things going on. I also hate people touching my feet, and I get ticklish, but I really wanted a pedicure. I looked up reviews for places in Tucson and Hapi Nails showed up and seemed to have good reviews. I really liked this place and have been there a few times and recently last week. I realized I should write a review because they are so good! I always went in as a walk in and I didn't have to wait too long. The main reason I go here is because its extremely clean, the environment is calm and smells nice, there's always a lot of workers to get you in, and they are gentle when doing your feet. They are welcoming and make sure you are as comfortable as can be. My pedicures always look fabulous, and its really not that expensive compare to most places. This is a great place and should be supported. read more
