He and his wife Tracy are very kind and personable...as are their other staff. The prices are very reasonable and just as good quality as the more expensive salons. Do not go unless you want an extra charge on your card. My total was $55. I woke up and they charged me $65. It was no mistake I seen them trying to add more I told them "hey I said a $5 tip!" I'll be going back today and getting a refund this is ridiculous. Edit. They made it right. Unfortunately will not be returning here again. This made my experience awful. read more

I'm back to Nails First. I needed a pedicure to relax before a big week. Halfway through it I decided to get my nails done as well - a fill and my tips shortened way up. The pedicure was pretty good. My heels were in bad shape (TMI, I'm ashamed of them!), but they did a pretty good job cleaning them up. I need another pedicure to finish them. The fill was perfect! Shortened up the tips to just the right length and I got the right color. This salon is within walking distance of home for me. It might be a reward for walking there?? read more

So as a dude with eye brows that quickly look like I've been fighting in the deserts with ISIS after just two weeks it's important to keep these bad boys tame. I'm so sad that I have to update my review. This place has changed management, maybe even owners in the past 2 years and it is awful now. It's unorganized, cluttered, has unfriendly staff and unfortunately not sanitary. I observed staff eating and not washing their hands before starting work on a customer. I only saw only 1 disinfectant container while I was there and it was covered in dust, implying it isn't regularly used. I asked for my nails to be set a certain way and was ignored. This place is awful and I highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

We arrived and were told to sit in a pedicure chair. We sat for an hour, no one offered us anything to drink nor told us our wait time. A lady randomly walked in and was seated in another pedicure chair n they turned on her water to soak her feet. We were very confused? We just sat there for an hour and no-one ever turned on our water? We decided to get up and leave and go to a more reliable location, Diva Nails. read more

I had gone here for many years. I went the last time to have my gel nail polish removed. The owner gouged my nail with the dremel and damaged my cuticle. Now my nail grows in weird because of the damage. He did not say a word to me as to what he had done. Charged me regular price and let me walk out the door. Won't EVER go back there and I don't recommend anyone to use their service. I went to the spa at the casino and the person there told me laziness is what cause the damage. They should not use a dremel on your nails..PERIOD! read more

They said going into the manicure they could do the design but after half way through warned me they didn't know how to do it.

The person who did my pedicure did great, but when it came to my gel nails, no! There are far better places that cost the same that are cleaner and better. I got a manicure with gel French tips and the fill of the white on the ends is poor at best. When he originally consulted me he asked if it was good, I said yes, because generally this is asked about the thickness of the white tip and once the additional white layers are applied, MOST (clearly not all) technicians make sure any thin areas are fully covered as they continue. Anyways, long story short, he blamed it on me and though I was polite, I was clearly upset and not even offered a discount or a coupon for a future discount. If they planned on keeping me as a customer, they didn't try very hard. Additionally, the towel he wiped my hands with smelled terrible! I'm sure it is not the worst place in tucson, but as i said, for your money there are much better places. To the the man who did my pedicure, thank you, you were very nice and did a great job.
