After moving I was reluctant to change nail shops. My co-worker suggested we check this spot out and I've been happy with the results. I've gotten a manicure twice and a pedicure twice. The shop is in. Strip mall next to One Stop nutrition, so a smoothie might be fun beforehand or afterwards. Today my mom and I got pedicures. We got the #2 signature ( at least my mom did). The basic pedicure comes with a salt scrub, clean cuticle /removal, hot towels in addition to the pedicure. The signature , the#2, gets the added heel scrub & mask wrap. Boy my feet feel soft! I know there is a discount if you give a five star Google review, but I like doing business a few times before reviewing any place. So far I've been happy. I made an appt online for a regular pedicure and manicure two days in advance. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appt time and waited 15 minutes to be seated so it might be better to just go and see if they can fit you in instead of making an appt online. I paid for the collagen pedicure and it came with hot rocks and wax. I also paid for a regular manicure. I was happy with the $38 manicure but will be removing the polish only 2 hours after because I don't know why it has bubbled like this and I want to be sure it doesn't cause any problems with my skin or nails. The pedicure was fine but not worth the $58 it cost. It was busy as usual and the staff was nice but I wish I would have seen my nails prior to leaving (they didn't look like this under the lights) because I would have had them change the polish. read more

I got a pedicure, it cost me almost $70 and I left to $10 tip, the technician was on the phone most of the time, what's the $7 charge for an extra charge? I won't go back! She didn't even cut my toenails my big toenail on the left is longer than the right. I still had calluses on my heels which I didn't notice until after I got home. I really like this place! It's very clean, they use liners when giving a pedicure, and all of the staff wear masks. I was very relaxed while getting a mani-pedi and they can do beautiful designs on your nails. My pedicure is 3 weeks old now and still looks perfect. I will definitely go here again. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for a while. They just opened back up, I appreciate the gestures for cleanliness with the pandemic. She has me wash my hands before I sat down, and she sprayed the booth with alcohol, and I expected the desk to be clean but it was sticky and gritty. Going into the manicure, she was distracted and kept getting up to do other things and did not sanitize anything she was using, she reused almost all tools she uses on the client before me. I will attach pictures for the next part. When she was doing the acrylic, she was laying it on extremely thick, and she was using a huge brush, which I have never seen. I always ask for thinner nails and they turned out so thick. When she was filing my acrylics with the electric filer, she kept looking away and it would catch on my fingers and it would burn my skin. The same thing happened when she tried to clean under my nails. There are globs of acrylic left under my fingernails, so she kept going over it and it would burn my fingertips. Without asking me, she "thinned out" my nails. She kept going over the sides of my nails with the board filer and it cut into my real nails. She tried reshaping my real nails on the sides to fit underneath the nails she put on, which did not fit on my nails at all. My cuticles are left dry and mis-shapen and my fingernails hurt. When she was doing the polish she kept having me take them out before they were completely cured and it caused bubbling. I got my nails done 3 days ago. My nails shouldn't be this far from my cuticle already and my polish should not be peeling off of my nails. On the white nails, the top coat is coming off. This was by far the worst and most painful manicure I've ever had. Unfortunately I can not remember the woman's name. She was incredibly nice and I liked talking with her, but she kept filing when I told her it was hurting. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed. read more

This nail shop does amazing work, when they want to, the other times your nails are chipping and the paint doesn't last. I find the owner to be rude when providing customer service. I am not sure if it was the color of my skin or the fact that we were not regulars at his nail salon, but while getting my nails done he jerked my hands around and filed my nails extremely painfully while doing my refill. At one point I remember pulling my hand back indicating he was hurting me, but he didn't let up. When passed off to another nail tech for my paint job she seemed just as annoyed. Mind you I kept all of my frustrations about the customer service to myself during my initial visit. 4 days later my nails and my polish chipped. When I went back the salon for them to fix my nails the owner charged me FULL price for the nail repair and repainting of my nails. When I tried to talk with him about why I was being charged the full price when I was just in getting my nails done not even 3 days ago he refused to make eye contact, rolled his eyes and smacked his lips while I was speaking with him. Now if I would have responded loud and irate I would have been the "angry black lady" but the fact that he felt he could treat a customer who, just days before had spent $100+ at his nail salon was baffling to me. Never again will this nail salon get a dime of my money. I kindly tipped the lady who did my repair and told the owner he wouldn't have to worry about seeing me again. To my ladies of color, don't wast your time at this salon. The owner CLEARLY doesn't think our money is worth providing the same type of service everyone else gets! read more

I went in for a pedicure today because my feet were looking kind of rough and I desperately needed them done. I called beforehand to make sure they had room since it was close to closing and they got me set up with a technician. I asked for a french pedicure and it started out okay but then I notice the guy doing my nails was using a file that wasn't in sterile packaging. This is very unsanitary. I have been to many nail salons and worked in them as well since I'm a certified nail technician in the state of NY and if it's a good nail salon they will open the package of sterilized items right in front of you.. my technician did not do this, but since I was running short on time I proceeded with the pedicure. Halfway through, the technician starts complaining about a crack in one of my nails even saying he couldn't do the french design over it. You guys, I've had a very hard last few months and haven't been able to get my feet done or even do them myself so they were more beat up than usual. Besides, it was just a crack in the side of one of the nails... he was acting like he never saw a crack before. I decided to offer advice to try and repair it with nail glue since maybe he didn't know. One of the other nail techs came over to help and suggested fixing it with gel and he obliged but it seemed like he was complaining to the other techs the entire time. At one point they all started laughing so I'm not sure what was said but it seemed like very unprofessional behavior. As a nail tech myself, I would never behave this way. I only gave 2 stars because the tech that came over to help him was so nice... but NEVER coming back here again. Next time I'll plan ahead and choose a salon that's way better quality than this one. LOVED wilmot nails. Have been going here for a few years, pedicures are my favorite. Went yesterday for my daughters birthday. Made an appt for 5pm. They started me late, and took over an hour for my daughter to be seen. She's 4. What's the point of even making appts? It's like this every single time. I make an appt, get there and I'm waiting for 25-40min to be seen. How am I supposed to plan anything when I don't know if I'll be there for 1 hour or 3. My pedicure was fine even though the woman took literally an HOUR on my toes only. Then it came time to do my nails. She globbed the gel polish on so thick it wouldn't dry under the light. Then she told me I wasn't putting my hand far enough into the light. I got into my car and automatically my GEL polish was coming off and STILL wet ! I went back TWICE to have them fix my nails and the gel polish literally peeled two days later. The salon cleanliness and quality has drastically decreased and I will not be going back or spending another $100 plus just to have to get my nails done AGAIN a few days later. read more

The girl doing them kept trying to persuade me to get gel, when I declined a few times she clearly got upset and did the absolute sloppiest job possible. She barely even touched my cuticles and then proceeded to aggressively file over my nile AND skin.
