Their acrylic nails don't break and the gel polish is high quality but the shaping and symmetry of the nail job leaves very much to be desired. Male who works there is unfriendly and makes me feel uncomfy. But if you need your nails done and you can shape them yourself, lol..I guess it's a place to go. But it's not worth 50 bucks for a set, I'd say more like $35, $40 is being generous. read more

I recently visited this nail salon for a full acrylic set, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I had high expectations based on the times i visited there, but I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. Firstly, the nails I got were not at all what I had requested. I had shown a picture of the design I wanted, but the final result was completely different. The shape, color, and overall look did not match my expectations. When I pointed this out to the technician, they seemed indifferent and made no little to no effort to correct the mistake. To make matters worse, when I politely asked for a refund due to the poor service and unsatisfactory results, my request was declined. The guy that was just on his phone not doing anything, started getting tone with me on the phone when i asked who the HR was or what the managers phone number was, this is where he yelled and told me he doesn't know the phone number because he's out of the country .. later on i still kept asking for the managers phone number and i got hung up on. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, which only added to my frustration. I believe that as a paying customer, which I paid 65 dollars for these, I deserve to receive the service I pay for, and in this case, I did not. I am very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning to this salon. I hope you take this feedback seriously! and work on improving your customer service and quality of work. read more

Got my nails done here for the first time on Monday evening...and the top coat started to peel off less than 3 days later. The tech that helped me was sweet, but there was a significant language barrier in explaining what I wanted (dip, with acrylic tips on a couple nails that had recently broken to keep them even), and the work was incredibly sloppy. They weren't shaped the same, the dip was applied too thick, I had polish all over my cuticles and fingers...and when I tried to explain what I needed corrected, she just filed them down roughly in frustration. Thankfully, the male technician was able to take me after and fix many of my concerns by cleaning up my edges and filing down the thickness correctly. He also had to fix a couple of toes on my gel pedicure where the polish was gunked up and bubbling, and the shape wasn't even. I was mostly satisfied when I left, but within 3 days the top coat on two of my nails has flaked and peeled off, which hasn't ever happened to me with dip nails. By Saturday, 4 more of the top coats have peeled and the dip is cracking under them. At this rate I'll have to get someone else to strip them down and start over. I can't say I'll be back. read more

Came here because it's one of the few open on Sundays, I was in a jam and needed my polish changed before going out of town. I came in, told the guy why I needed, picked my color and sat down. I felt the customer service was lacking. No small talk, no welcome feeling, just kind of lacked the care and attention that I expect when giving my business to a shop. My nails turned out fine-since I had no polish on coming in and just needed a gel paint job. The price was quite high. $20 JUST for polish. No mani, no polish removal, just to paint them. I've finally found my go-to nail place! They are very welcoming, treat customers right, and have great prices. I bounced around from different nail places because they were either too expensive or had inconsistent quality/service. Hollywood Nail Salon does a great job EVERY time for a great price. I recently got a full set after going about a year without nails which was definitely an adjustment. I ended up breaking two nails the next day! The owners were so understanding about it and they even put the two new nails on for free! I have never been disappointed with their pedicures either. Seriously, for the price and the friendly service it is definitely worth checking out. I just wanted to edit to add that their customer service beats all else. Recently, I regretted the color is chose for my nails and asked them to change it the next day, at my expense of course, and got a pedicure while I was there. I went to pay and they only charged for the pedicure despite my protests! The takeaway here is that they want you to be satisfied but they will also do what it takes to keep their loyal customers happy and coming back. BTW, tip at least 20%. Can't tell you how many times I see people pay for $50 worth of service and only give $2. read more

My nails will break off randomly after a brand new fill. I think that the quality of product must be very poor. The last one broke while I was shampooing my hair in the shower! I have been coming to this salon for about 6 months now. I go almost every two weeks in which I have left satisfied every time! It is a family owned and operated business. Everyone there is so kind and makes sure you get what you are looking for. The salon is very clean which is amazing to see especially after the pandemic our community has gone through. Before you enter they ask you wear a mask but they also have mask to buy for only $1 if you do not have one, after that you are asked to wash your hands to make sure not only they are safe but you remain safe as well. I have loved every set of nails and every pedicure I've received. I can't imagine going to another salon after experiencing the healthy and kind environment. 10/10 recommended. read more

I wanted a full set of gel nails. I know I was a walk in and had no appointment. Everything was fine until it was time for color on my nails. Everyone was really really nice and had a great attitude but the girl who finished painting my nails did a very poor job with the color. It was streaky and seemed extremely sheer. then the gel on top of that was not smooth it was like it was drying or there wasn't enough product so my nails were left looking all lumpy streaky and not "professionally" done. I always leave a big tip when I walk in anywhere and was sad to see my hard earned money just go into something like this. A little nervous to go since I'm very picky when it comes to my acrylic nails but this place is awesome!! I asked for square nails but I hate how they look sometimes (kind of flared) so I asked the man doing my full set to keep them slim on the sides and he did it perfectly! I said I wanted them short and he cut it to the perfect length. This place doesn't have a "nail salon smell" either, very clean and nice. I took myself and my daughter in for a pedicure it was the only nail salon that we found open today. I should have just waited another day and gone to a different nail salon, this was my daughter's first pedicure. The Vietnamese lady didn't even try to take off the callus off the bottom of her feet I paid for the deluxe pedicures for both of us. I had to tell the other Vietnamese lady doing my pedicure repeatedly three or four times, I had to tell her and SHOW HER about the certain callus spots on my feet that I got from a certain pair of sandals that I used to wear, and she kept saying okay okay okay okay and then she would go over that area of my feet but not on the damn callus spots!! The bottom of my daughter's feet right above her arch sre still calloused, and under her big toe she is still very calloused and the Vietnamese lady tried to say that if she takes that off that it's going to hurt her..omg l no it's not, my daughter even said no it isn't going to hurt!! That Vietnamese lady is just f****** lazy, she just did not want to do her job and she tried to say that if she takes that callus off that it's going to hurt my daughter. No, it's not it's f****** callouses..with calluses you do not feel anything!! I was really PISSED and then she said she was going to take off some of the price she only took off $3 I feel like I shouldn't have had to pay for that damn pedicure at all!! The name Hollywood nails that this place has is a damn joke it's definitely not Hollywood nails maybe some ghetto Vietnamese village nails yeah but not no damn Hollywood nails!!! This was our first time there and we will never ever return here again!! Crappy work, lazy and I do mean LAZY oh and the so-called massage that we were supposed to go with a pedicures we didn't get a massage all we got was rubbed on our legs and on our feet. I was in dire need of a mani/pedi yesterday (and I mean 'dire'), so I "Yelped" nail salons in the area where I was at the time. Hollywood Nail Salon had 5 stars, so I figured I would check them out...and I'm glad I did. I was a 'walk-in' and even though the nail techs were busy, I was seated at a station right away; I did not have to wait long for the nail tech (Bi) at all. Anne did my toes and I got the royal treatment...plus the massage was very relaxing. They have a great selection of gel colors as well as S&S (dip) for those that prefer that technique. The salon appeared very clean and I was very happy with my nails & toes once finished. There were also a number of women coming & going while I was getting my work done, which tells me it must be a good salon.
