I ended up at Classy Nails by Le when my usual nail spot was closed and I needed a mani pedi for an upcoming event. They were able to get me in the same day, which I really appreciated. I did try to book online first and selected a specific manicurist, but I never received a confirmation or call back. When I followed up by phone, there was some confusion as they mentioned that person had not worked there in quite some time. Not a huge deal, but it does seem like the website may not be fully up to date, so I would recommend calling directly to schedule. My manicurist was Tommy and he was great. He completed the mani pedi in excellent time and delivered exactly what I asked for, including staying within the price range I expected. Pricing was comparable to other nail salons in the area. The interior was clean, nicely decorated, and well ventilated. The chairs were comfortable and there was a TV playing, which made the experience relaxing. Overall, it was a good experience in spite of the website weirdness, and I am glad to have this as a solid backup option when my regular spot is unavailable. Very disappointing. There were 3 of us and all of us ended up with substandard manicures. The technician that did my nails was kind and attentive, but the nail polish dried very wavy and uneven with bubbles - maybe old polish? The other two had bad shaping and polish applied sloppily where the polish did not cover the sides of the nail. I felt I had a good technician, but the polish is bad and will need to be removed- not the job we paid for. The other two with me felt rushed and that the technicians did not seem to care about the job they did. I picked one color and they choose another one. my nail tech Ruby didn't even say hello. o tried to say hello and make polite conversations but go no response. she barely spent any time one the manicure and rushed the job. I was left with a rushed job and stained fingers with dip power all over. I only came here on a recommendation, but would never return. she also kept hurting me digging into my finger with her sharp nails. Not gentle at all, not professional. Been here multiple times and have mediocre experiences everytime, but this last time was the worst nail experience I've had. The reason I used to return was because it was moderately priced. This last time, I asked for medium length almond shaped baby pink nails. Each shape is different and the lengths are very obviously different. You can see how all of my cuticles are ruined from the excessive drilling. The tech (number 10) even drilled after she finished my nails. There are cuts on every single on of my nails and dried up blood that she put polish over. The polish is messy and I had to ask to get it fixed multiple times. I eventually gave us asking to get it fixed and accepted my defeat. Had to go to another salon and get my set redone. You are better off going elsewhere in Tucson as the price is not worth it here. Additionally, I had a time where my nail tech (Number 3) kept taking breaks from doing my nails to go vape outside. While I understand taking breaks, I found it a bit unprofessional. read more

The owner of this location recently changed and I have to say that it was a great decision. The salon is much cleaner and standards have increased. It is no longer a chop shop; the nail artists use sealed and sanitized tools. They also appear to be more skilled and provide a great service. I used to come to this nail salon all the time but I moved out of state. I came to visit my family for the weekend and booked an appointment excited to get a pedicure done at 3:15pm. They had me waiting for 30 minutes to begin with. Then when I was seated and asked what I wanted I explained the deluxe pedicure which is $55 which includes the leg massage which I didn't even receive. She rubbed lotion and the wax on my legs and that was it no massage whatsoever. Then she had me waiting and disappeared which I had a movie to go to with my family but I kept my mouth shut and waited. When it came time to pay, the cashier said it was gonna be $77 i was like why and told her exactly what I booked. The lady doing my toes claimed I asked for gel and the $65 package then gave attitude and said I can sit back down and she will take off my pedicure that took her forever to finish in the first place and she will do the regular polish. I explained I am already late to a movie with my family so I ended up paying the $77. Then the cashier had the nerve to say "next time be more careful and make sure to say you don't want the gel nails" as if it were my fault. I felt like I got scammed. This place has gone completely downhill. The energy/vibes are horrible and the people working there are so rude. Worst customer service. And my toes look like garbage. Not worth the money at all. If you're thinking of going to Classy Nails By Le on Campbell and Ft. Lowell, don't bother. He is no longer there. Nor are the cheerful friendly staff that we were once accustomed to. Instead there is new ownership/management/staff that can not hold a flame to them. I have been in for a pedicure "Three" times since the company has changed hands and each time left very disappointed. I was hoping my next visit would be better each time, but, I'm finally convince that's as good as it gets and I will not be returning. Current staff struggles to provide quality care. The environment feels tacky and it appears they are running out of inventory. You will be lucky if you get the color of polish you selected. The salon is huge! They have at least 20 pedicure chairs if I had to guess and no less than 18 manicure stations. They have specials including mani/pedi, etc. I'd highly recommend this business. My boyfriend had never had a pedicure before and they went above and beyond to make him feel special. They have the basic pedicure for $33 but if you add wax, gel, scents (lavender, mango, apple.) the costs add up quickly. Highly recommend appointments on the weekends. We were with another couple and ended up getting a private room with a curtain....fancy! I had the gel pedicure with wax dip on my feet and it was closer to $59. This was the 2nd time that I've came to Classy nails by Le. The first time was great, got a classic mani/pedi and felt great after. The 2nd most recent time, didn't have a great experience. I just wanted dip nails to keep my length. After creating texture on my nail for grip, my nails felt raw. They were more torn up than I've ever experienced and they hurt. Even after leaving with my nails done my fingers have hurt. When finishing up and drilling around my cuticles, the the tech cut me and I started bleeding. I got my dip nails done on Sunday. I have been coming to this salon for around 20 years. I've had acrylic extensions for 25+ years, had gone from place to place, either losing my tech or getting subpar service. Once I found this place, I never left. Le, the owner, has been doing my nails for all that time. Le is great (even times when he has to multitask as a receptionist/manager, he's focused, attentive, highly skilled - and funny!). From time to time, I've had other techs, all as capable as he is. I've gone from plain acrylics to airbrush art to painted art to making my own colors/textures of acrylic for the tips, and Le has faithfully executed my ideas - and created ones of his own - all along (even when my ideas/acrylics are a pain in the ass to apply...). I've seen the shop grow from a modest space into a spacious, lovely spa, with the latest technology and services incorporated as they emerge. Most often, I make an appointment, but from time to time have walked in and waited a bit to get squeezed in. Depending on the season and whether UArizona is in session, the salon can get quite busy. But if there's a wait, it's completely worth the service that I get, and the waiting area is pleasant, with a Keurig and bottled water (and sometimes cookies!) for refreshment. Often, I get a pedi, which is complete heaven. (While I was writing this, Loan was transforming my raggedly feet into ones presentable in sandals, whilst I got massaged in splendor.) The chairs are comfy and the sanitation methods are excellent. Every tech I've had experience with through the years is skilled, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend Classy Nails by Le!
