I was accompanying my roommate while she was getting her nails done and he kicked me out because he said I was a distraction and he kept messing up so I waited outside and he was still messing up after I left. He was talking shit to my face and calling me stupid because i didn't finish high school. He was so disrespectful and rude to me and my roommate and then overcharged my roommate for her nails. Asian Jordan, as he introduced himself to me. Said that he knew how to do Gel X, on me. He wanted to do fills, (I have been wearing Gel X for at least 3 months, going to a salon in Sahuarita, and they do not do fills, you get a new set each time) Asian Jordan said that was a waste of time but he did it anyway. I went in for a gel manicure and basic pedicure. It is a small salon, not particularly clean or neat. Their polish collection was not great and old. They were not busy so I was served immediately. The staff was friendly though the girl helping me spoke minimal English. While applying the gel bascoat, she left bubbles and it was very thick and not even. She filed it down after it was set and proceeded with polish. I questioned this and was told that if I have problems, I could come back and she would fix it. She did spend time cleaning up my cuticles, before and after the polish. Everything looked good until she sprayed a drying agent on my tacky nails and now there are bubbles in every nail. She also was not careful to brush away the dust after filing and before polishing. They do give you 10% off for all cash and their prices are readonable. I won't be returning. read more

There are lots of pooling near my cuticle, they tried to remove it but it ended up looking jagged. I told them to make it square, they ended up making it squoval. The color was not a solid color, there is a bunch of spaces that should have been a solid pink. The nail filing was also very uneven. This gel manicure was not worth $30. read more

I tried this place on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised! I got a full set and a pedicure and was happy with the results of both. Both services were reasonably priced as well which is a huge plus. Also, I brought in an inspiration picture for my nails, but I couldn't have my nails as long as the picture (due to work) and the gentleman doing my nails made sure to communicate that they may look a bit different than the picture, which I really appreciated. They have dips, gels and regular polish that you're actually allowed to explore on your own (their not behind a cabinet or station you can't get to). Now, I've been to my share of nail salons and Super Nail is in my top 3 for the following reasons: they value your time- if you set an appointment; they're affordable- even with a design, shape, gel and bling; the gel doesn't peels off, chip or flake; and, best one for me, the bling NEVER falls off and lies perfectly against the nail. I visited this weekend. I called ahead to make sure I didn't have to wait. I booked time myself and my friend, we both got acrylic french tips. My friend was seated first, then a about 15 minutes my seat was available. The woman that did my set of nails rushed the job; as a result, my fingers had glue all over it, the nail tips were crooked and there are gaps between my real nail and the acrylic tip. (For those that get acrylic nails, you know how important it is to keep under the nail clean. This is nearly impossible if there is a gap.) My crappy french manicure set was finished approximately 20 minutes before my friend, once I paid, the lady that did my nails didn't say anything. She left and started on a pedicure. I think they do very nice work as far as shape of nail and cleanliness of salon and politeness and attitude of staff/owners. Additionally they were ON TIME for my appointment and these are key elements to me absolutely! However, I wanted a french (soft) manicure and have a pale pink color. Due to the time and the fact that they did take me in right on time and there was a gal waiting right behind me.... I probably should have spoke up more or perhaps made myself -more clear than the photos I showed from their website but I was assured he understood what I wanted and - I hate the color. To re iterate- I did show him a picture of what I wanted and was assured he was clear on my choice so I am still a bit confused on why or what happened but before I knew it was done and paying and they are not what I asked for nor are they a 'french manicure'. Still, a nice shape and thin as I prefer but now I will have to have the gel redone - again -before the weekend as I need to have the french manicure a specific event so....for this reason I am giving 3 stars.
