But she had me wait 30 minutes to discuss something with a person there. It's one thing to wait for finishing up with a clinic but another to wait for a conversation. This delayed me a lot. Quality:4/5 I didn't like my natural nails being cut down to put on acrylic nails. The manager and her apologize but nothing came off of my bill. My nail beds weren't too damaged after soaking them off. A few areas were weakened. The design was cute but it was glitter all over my cuticles. I would recommend this place for undergraduate students to get their nail services. But would not for folks with limited time. read more

I also checked out their website and loved that you can book your services online. I decided to give them a try. The salon is clean and everyone greeted me with a friendly smile. The first salon I have been to that practices good hiring practices. Men, women, Black, White, South Asian and everyone in between seems to work here. All appear more than technically proficient, speak English and other languages. Salon is clean. My girlfriend mentioned it smells good, lacking the need for everyone to wear a VOC respirator as in some salons. Music was WAY too loud for my taste and I felt taken advantage of because this salon happily takes credit cards if you pay their factoring. Luckily the salon refunded the fee as they do NOT give good notice they operate outside of the CC issuers terms and conditions. Lighting could be less intense and furniture could be more professional and less copy cat designer. Less employee and owner traffic would be nice. This could easily be achieved by having employees use the back door for ingress and egress. Employees look good but dress could be standardized. Be ready for a deposit if making an appointment. Luckily it's not a fee but a deposit. Equal attention would be helpful to male clients and a more gender neutral color palette could invite the other 1/2 and most of this countries GDP might bring more profit. Having male techs is a good step in the more profitable direction. read more

This is the BEST nail place in Tucson! If if you are Tucson, especially if you are University Of Arizona student, I would absolutely recommend coming to Nail theory. All of the nail technicians are the sweetest human beings in the entire world and they make you feel like they are your best friend in five minutes. The vibe is amazing while they play great music and you have amazing conversations while you just laugh, but if you don't want to, they also can just do their job. I've seen them do that as well. I normally go to Tara and she is my go to girl that I genuinely appreciate so much. Tara takes the time to make sure that my nails will last and stick on the longest especially because I have a job where I break my nails easily. Tara also did my engagement nails and they were amazing! Not only that, but because I have a job where I bang my hands into walls or cycling bikes, and I can break a nail because I like them longer. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They do not massage your feet, nor do they exfoliate. Waste of time and money DO NOT come here I wish I stayed home. I have gotten two pedicures and got more than the basic package, with nothing to show for it. Hope they hire better employees. read more

I've been here a handful of times before and had an amazing experience. Unfortunately this time I felt like I was more a burden than a customer. I scheduled and paid for the luxe pedicures for myself and my husband, which are supposed to be an hour long and include a massage. Neither my husband or I got a massage and both of us were done and paid for within 45 minutes of walking in the door. We essentially paid over $150 to soak our feet and have someone paint our toes. The sad thing on top of that is upon getting home and taking a closer look, both my husband and my polish have mess ups in them that the techs didn't bother to fix. I'm not complaining about the price but I should get what I was advertised, and this wasn't it. I'm just disappointed in how different this experience was than my previous experiences here. read more

Nail theory is the nail salon on university blvd and it's under NEW MANAGEMENT!!! They have renovated the space and it's so CLEAN and everyone is so friendly. You can make your appointment online which I LOVE! The one thing is that you have to put a deposit down before your service and is applied to your overall price at the end. If you no show they keep their deposit which I think it's totally fair. The quality of attention that Jazz put into my nails was mind blowing! I highly recommend making an appointment with Jazz. She constantly asks you do you like? Make sure you look at your nails while i work on the other hand to see if there isn't anything you want me to change - the attention to detail was superb. This is by far the best pedicure I have had in Tucson, and well with the (somewhat) higher price. The salon itself is clean, light and airy, with no chemical smell. The massage chairs are new and give a lovely massage without being too intrusive (some chairs just end up hurting me). The pedicure itself was just lovely. Kiana did my pedicure, and gave me an extended massage. There are no cheese graters here- they use proper equipment when removing calluses (and mine are thick), which are as effective. My nails came out perfect, as did my sister's, who also received a pedicure in the next chair. This is the only place I will go to get a pedicure in Tucson in the future. read more

Her work is flawless and she really takes the time to understand what nail goals her clients have before starting her work. I usually never write reviews for anything, but I just had to write one for my experience at Nail Theory, and specifically with Hailey. I usually never have my nails done because most nail salons are so overwhelming, but Nail Theory is by far the best salon I've been to. It was very clean, and well organized. The nail technician I saw, Hailey, was absolutely amazing. She was extremely kind, very detail-oriented, gentle, and did not rush through my service as I have experienced in the past. I think she was somewhat worried that she would mess up my service (Gel-X), since I found out that this was her first time doing it on a client. At first I was admittedly nervous, but the other technicians were giving her advice, and my nails turned out absolutely beautiful. I can tell that she has a true talent for nails, even for a service that she has never done before. Not to mention, the other two technicians who were helping her out were so supportive of her, and I truly felt like I was in such great hands with all of them.
