I am a nurse and not permitted gel, acrylic, or overlays so I rarely get a manicure, but I received a gift certificate and thought I'd treat myself even after deciding to never go back. A very nice and modern spa, clean with all new equipment. I was able to get in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. Appointments are recommended and excepted at this location. Prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of service provided. There are 14 pedicure stations and nine manicure stations so this salon can accommodate larger groups. They did a terrible job and when I tried to ask the owner (Kha) to fix some things she told me I was "very picky". I just got my nails done today and they look like they've been growing out for two weeks!! She made them very uneven, my pedicure looks terrible and they overcharged me and they did not give me all the services listed in the pedi package I chose. She skipped lotion and said there "wasn't enough time" and that these are timed pedicures. My feet are so uneven I'll never go back. Waste of $130 read more

They fixed my nails!!! I had been going to a different salon for a while and didn't have a problem, but my last visit ruined my nails. The acrylic was under my cuticles, acrylic over the sides of my nails, the shape was wonky, the design looked like circles instead of hearts, there was dust/black fur/bubbles on my nails, etc. I thought the guy was already annoyed by the time I came in so I didn't want to be rude back and just payed and left. I was too embarrassed and upset to go back. :( So, I called Nail Pro and Spa and Kha and the owner fixed them! I could tell she was appalled as well with the state my nails were in, but she was so kind and helpful, made me feel comfortable. She was able to gently drill away all the acrylic from under my cuticles, fix the shape, and design. I am so happy with my nails and will be returning to this nail salon! :) read more

Since I winter in Tucson for 3 months and like to have a pedicure once a month, I wanted to find a regular nail place here. I decided to try Nail Pro based on the location and internet pictures of the shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and was greeted by a surly man, "What do you want"?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He pointed to an empty pedicure chair, told me to get a polish and sit there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After about 10 minutes past my appointment a woman came and turned on the water in my pedicure bowl without acknowledging me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When it was half full, she said put your feet in. Ouch! It was boiling hot! She hadn't tested the water. When I exclaimed and jerked my feet out, she just laughed. She did a couple of procedures to one foot and then different procedures to the second foot. I was in and out of the water so many times and couldn't keep track of what was being done. My nails were cut crooked and some way too short with the tool used for cutting cuticle. When it came time for the lotion massage, she said this was all I got unless I wanted the exfoliate and would cost $10 extra. Out came a small blob of blue jelly which was rubbed into my legs pretty quickly. Then polish was put on my nails without the foam divider between the toes and smeared on my toes. "How would you like to pay? Cash or card"? I said card and she pointed to the in-house ATM in the corner saying to go get cash. So I'm left with crazy cut and jagged nails, smeared polish, calluses and rough heels not even addressed, and a high interest cash withdrawal on my credit card. My toenails are beautiful. If that's not right it won't matter what else I tell you. First impression over the phone was excellent. They were able to squeeze me in on a Sunday. The man on the phone was nice too. When I arrived, they knew who I was and my chair was waiting for me despite there being a wedding party of 6 on the other side of the salon. When I didn't immediately turn on the massage feature, the lady helped me. They have basin liners, wear gloves and masks and get clean tools for each person. My pedicure experience was great. I got callus removed and the sea salt rub which is extra. My feet are so soft! The massage part was good too. But the biggest thing was that the lady doing it talked to me more than just when to move my feet. I felt human. Seriously great experience, by far the best salon I've tried in Tucson. Everyone coming in and out seemed to know the staff by name and everyone wished the man who answered the phone a happy birthday. read more

Their polish selection is very limited. They don't have matching dip and gel polishes so you have to get different colors on your hands and toes. They have some colors that are similar but didn't have some colors at all: like green. They also didn't have anyone available at my appt time. Very nice. I've been a walk-in for pedicure occasionally, and have also made appointments. It's a very nicely decorated and comfortable place. There is always someone greeting customers. It's usually quite busy. The women who give the pedicures talk more to one another than to the customers, I think, unless they get to know you. I was given a very complete and good treatment. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I felt pressure from the pedicurist to purchase extra services. If I wanted more, I would have asked. This salon used to be my first choice. The last two times I've been there the service has been terrible. This time , after sitting down and looking around, dirty! I asked for a pedicure and manicure, simple manicure, clear polish. When she spent most of her time looking around and not focusing on what she was doing, I became concerned. And when she spent about 10 minutes on the full manicure , I knew it was going to be bad. I have never had manicure look worse leaving than when I walked in. I didn't even have them polished, I just wasted $80 on an okay pedicure and horrible manicure.Along with the terrible service, the chairs are broken and the place is dirty.
