My friend was treating us to a pampering pedicure here yesterday. This was my first time and she had been coming for years. Because she is moving to the East coast this weekend, this would be her last visit. Walking in, we were greeted nicely by one of the salon staff in their very clean , comfortable and gently decorated salon. Had a few people in there, but it felt like they know how to space appointments well to avoid that hectic feel that can pervade salons. Everyone that came in had an appt and seemed to know all 3 that were working at the time. Many regulars - which is a good sign of a place to return! The pedicure chairs were quite comfy and the staff very kind, smiled often and interacted every so often. A gentleman worked on my pedicure and was likely the most gentle, efficient and lovely pedicure ever had. My friend nay be leaning big I will remain a customer. The owner is down right obnoxious and rude ~ he was actually talking to my manicurist in Vietnamese about me right in front of me recently. He didn't appreciate a negative review I composed 6 months prior~I have been a client for almost 3 years. I owned a salon in New Jersey 17 manicurists 300 appointments weekly. It was a success. The owner of Swan? He offers Cold bottled water to SELECT clients only. I bring my own water but it's also insulting! Kim was on vacation several months ago I called the owner was rude asking if he had availability he yelled NO YOU WAIT KIM COME BACK! My friend immediately called to make an appointment with him not five minutes later and he said sure 2 o'clock tomorrow. I called him back~ I said I don't understand. He said you ask too many questions. How much is it? What time is the appointment I don't wanna put up with that so you wait for Kim .! They also DO NOT sterilize their equipment... it's never taken out of a sterilizer. it's taken from their drawer. It's never wrapped ~ if it's sterilized it should be completely sealed.. FOR A FACT. I had my appointment today and I was told setting up a new appointment ~ she didn't have another opening until January 6. I said but that's almost a month away. I can't wait that long. No offer to put me on a waitlist or perhaps someone else? She just said nothing. I recently had two appointments I was emergency hospitalized with a blood clot recently I was told in a text I can never cancel again because it's happened twice! Seriously? I foolishly apologized to her! What was I thinking? I'm An idiot ... I actually bought her a compact Ninja Air Fryer I knew she had little children it would help ~ so I decided to surprise her on my next prior to "Christmas appointment" along with gifts for her kids! We are happy we found this salon. It is very clean and we appreciate that they are committed to sterilizing all equipment. I recommend Anna as she is excellent! She makes great suggestions and remembers what I like, e.g. Very hot water. The technicians my husband has tried have also been good. The first time we came we had to wait as they were running behind. Now I call 30 minutes ahead of my appointment to see what time we should come. Today they told me to come 15 minutes later so we did. This worked as when we arrived they were ready for us. We will continue to come here. read more

With so many nail salons in Tucson, you can do better in my opinion. I have visited twice. The place seems clean, and they are friendly, but I've had better manis and pedis elsewhere. On my first visit, I came with two friends, and we each got a gel mani and pedi. The pedi was okay, but my gel polish lifted and chipped within a couple days. Also, my manicurist didn't paint close enough to my cuticle so my mani looked like it was already grown out. My second visit, I brought my mom for pedis. The service was average, and I had a guy working on me who missed some spots on my toe nails. Perhaps I was unlucky and didn't get their best people, but I'm probably not going to give them another chance. I've been to Amy's Nails in Marana and One Day on Speedway and Wilmot, and I've had better services there. read more

My friend wanted to take me out for a mani/pedi before my bridal shower and after getting a not so nice reception across the street at coughhapinailscough, we called Swan Nails & Spa to see if they could get us in. They said absolutely, so we headed over. All of the staff greeted us very happily when we walked in (usually it seems like people greet you but only because they have to). They were ready for us and got started right away. The two women who did our nails were very nice and friendly and made very pleasant conversation with us when appropriate. It was probably the best experience I've had at a nail salon! They did a great job and even stayed a little late to make sure our nails were perfect. I was very satisfied with the whole experience, and I didn't feel any pressure at all throughout the process. I went with it though thinking it would turn out okay, but she got it all over my skin and I had to file the edges when I got home because they were too thick. My friends had told me about this nail salon and I was so excited to come here and try it. To say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Their customer service here is potentially the best I've ever gotten at a nail salon. They don't rush you at all, they take their sweet time, and really listen to you. I randomly walked into this place back in Fall 2016 in hopes of getting my old gel manicure taken off. They suggested I get a manicure instead, for only seven dollars more. The technician was careful and detail-oriented and did a wonderful job with my nails. I walked out with a smile on my face and how easy it was to get a last minute manicure that I loved. My only problem with this place, is the inconsistency in prices for the same service. I recently walked in to get my usual mani-pedi and they charged me $20 more than usual for the same service. When I pointed this out, they insisted that I had remembered incorrectly. And since there is no price list anywhere visible, they can pretty much charge whatever they want for any service. I have since stopped going to this place, as I have found other places in town that provide the same service and are more transparent in their charges. read more

I've tried about 15 places around town over the past few years and I like this place the best by far. They do great nails. I pay much less here compared to other salons, and I feel like I get better service. They try to remember your name, and if they don't, you are certainly greeted by a bunch of friendly faces who know who you are. They remember what color nail polish I use, include a hand or leg massage with all manicures, take extra care to not make mistakes, and if they do, they fix everything until they are happy...all that good stuff that you want when you've had a long day and don't want to think anymore. They are also super clean and all their tools come out of sanitized packages, which is nice to see. I got the spa pedi, and a gel mani- price and quality are incredible. They massage your feet, your legs and at the end they wrap your feet in melted wax. I went in for a manicure to make sure this would be a good place to take my bridal party before my wedding, and they did not disappoint. I called at lunch and they set me up for an appointment later in the afternoon. Everyone working there was super friendly and greeted everyone as they walked through the door. Many regulars walked in while I was in, and the people working greeted them by name (awesome community). What was especially awesome, was that, even though there were regulars walking in and waiting for appointments, the woman working with me did not rush or make me feel as though I was less important.
