This is my first time visiting since under new management. When we walked in there were two employees, and no customers. One of the employees was sleeping in one of the pedicure chairs. My husband and I got a mani/pedi/fill. The woman rushed through my services and didn't even give a massage with my pedicure. We were charged over $200 and the service didn't match the price. There's definitely new management and it is not the same great nail salon that it use to be, which makes me very sad because I used to come here all the time and loved it. My experience was less than impressive, the man was all over the place, pouring dip powder from one container to another, super rough, the place looked like a mess. I love this place! I've been going here regularly for over a year now and I always love how my nails look every time! When I go, I get a gel manicure and regular-polish pedicure, with my natural nails, it's absolutely perfect for me. I usually get my nails squared off because I find it keeps my natural nails stronger, but there are times I damage the ends and they file it in a way to keep as much length as possible, which I love. They have a good selection of gel, I've never been able to try them all at least, and the pedicures can easily match using the same polish but in a different process of application. I find that my gel nails in a solid color last two weeks( I'm outside, digging and hiking 4-days a week due to my job so for me that's great!). The sparkling gels usually last a little bit less than two-weeks for me, probably due to the paints matrix being altered by the sparkles. Overall, I give this place 5/5 for consistency in doing a good job. The massages that come with the mani pedi are also amazing! read more

Definitely the best nail salon I've been to in Tucson. There is nothing worse than having an appointment at a salon, walking in and seeing the nail techs all very busy and then having to wait 30 or more minutes to be served. Totally unacceptable....and it DOESN'T happen here. I was a loyal patron to another salon in town and left because of that exact situation happening time after time. Hapi Nails doesn't make you wait for than 5 minutes when you have an appointment and even then, they apologize profusely. I've been coming to Hapi Nails for at least six months now and have always walked out completely happy and satisfied with my nails and the customer service I received. They have a huge assortment of nail polish colors, gels and smelly good lotions. And there are so many techs working! I love it, especially coming from a salon where there were only a few and they were awful at juggling the schedule. Hapi Nails is clean and inviting. I am visiting from out of town, and all I can say is I wish there was a nail place like this at home! The salon is well-maintained and very clean, and the staff is all incredibly welcoming and friendly. My gel manicure is flawless, but the best part by far was the HUGE selection of gel nail polish. Even better is the fact that they had exact OPI matches for toe colors, which lots of salons fall short on. I paid only $60 for a deluxe pedicure with callous removal, and a gel manicure. More than reasonable for the caliber of service and products used. Another fun perk is that you can pick from nearly 20 different lotions, and they do a wonderful foot and hand massage. Also, there was ZERO attempts upsell me. I got to relax and enjoy my ipod and the comfortable massage chairs without feeling like I was being sold on other services. One thing to note is that the tips are cash only unless you tell them in advance to put it on your card. Great expirience! Went here because of yelp ratings. Glad I did! I had removed my own acrylic nails and my real nails were very weak and brittle. Vicky treated them very gently and went the extra mile to make them look amazing. The spa pedicure was very relaxing as well. The cuticles are really clean, and the nail polish is always well applied. Besides, the place looks very clean and new. They even have Halloween decorations! The shop is immaculate and there are loads of licenses and certificates on the wall. I'm a good noticer. I notice stuff. I noticed (as my toes were drying) two women in particular. They came in ten minutes early for a one o'clock appointment. They pretty much patiently waited, only asking once to see acrylic samples. At 1:25pm, they were still waiting, and I could tell they were getting a little steamed up. I don't blame them at all. I'd be pissed too. I have been a regular at Hapi Nails for about a year. It's right next to Starbuck's in the Fry's shopping center at Grant/Swan. I love grabbing a coffee and then getting a pedi. Not only do the offer the typical nail services, but they also do reflexology as well, which I haven't tried. They accept walk-ins, but they are a popular salon so I definitely recommend getting an appointment. The place is VERY clean and they have a great color selection (mainly OPI and China Glaze- they also have an extensive crackle color selection as well). You can get a regular or deluxe spa pedicure, with the difference being an extended foot massage time (totally worth it). They also include a salt scrub in their regular pedicure service, something which you'd likely be charged extra for if you went elsewhere. They also have a towel steamer and wipe your legs off before the lotion/massage. Again, another service included that isn't typical of other places. When it comes time for the lotion, they have a menu of scents to choose from!! That's amazing- most places you just get the cheap pink gunk. Hapi Nails offers an assortment of OPI lotions as well as other brands; I recommend the cucumber melon. They also do a great job with Shellac manicures. I've had had quite a few done at Hapi Nails and they always last at LEAST three weeks if not more. Their color selection for the shellac is very good- 30+ colors. You can also have your own set of tools kept there in a box with your name on it, that they will pull and use for (duh) only you when you go in to get a service, but it's a nice offering for those who may be squeamish about reused salon tools. Hapi Nails is very affordable and are very accomodating. I highly recommend them! read more

I sent my wife for a mani and pedicure with an appointment with specific requests but the nailist did not know how to do gel nails and requested to be paid first and tip in cash before the service was performed. An affordable shopping strip nail salon with friendly service and decent prices. When I arrived into Tucson to visit my friend for a girls weekend, she jokingly told me that Tucson women HAD to get pedicures before ever wearing sandals (a little high maintenance, huh?). So in efforts to "fit in" and to get some R&R, we tried calling various salons and spas for appointments. To my surprise, every place we called was either completely booked or closed! So we decided to take a chance and called Hapi Nails, which is located in the Fry's shopping strip. We luckily snagged a 1pm appointment that same day on a Sunday afternoon, but waited nearly 20 minutes to finally get seated in their pedicure massage chairs. Their OPI selection was large, and the salon itself was clean and pleasant. Our technicians, Hanh and Julia, were very friendly and did a good job on our feet. The Classic Pedicure ($27) included the typical spa chair and tub, a quick lotion massage, a light scrubbing (I prefer more aggressive scrubbing to get rid of summer callouses), and polish. Our nails were well-done, and Hanh even did a great job on my friend's nail art ($3 and up). I actually wanted to get a gel manicure at the last-minute but was turned down by the manager because they said that they were booked for the rest of the day. (Weird behavior, methinks, especially when the salon wasn't even 75% full). So be sure to call to make an appointment for EVERYTHING you want to do. TIP: Though they accept credit cards, they do not accept tips on your credit card receipt! We had to quickly run over to Fry's to get some cash to pay our technicians. read more

It is the cleanest of any nail place I have been to, they have a great selection of colors, their prices are affordable, and they are very friendly! I will never go to another nail place after finding this one! They also don't try and sell you a bunch of stuff or make you upgrade to gel polish when all you asked for was a simple manicure (this happens often at other salons and I can't stand it!) read more

The nail salon, inside and out, is extremely clean and presentable. The prices are extremely affordable, and the staff is so nice. They have a wide variety of lotions to chose from, and a great selection of nail polishes and gel polishes. I would suggest making an appointment, even though they say walk in welcomed, because they get you in right away and only make appointments for as many people as they can actually handle. I am horrified. I took my daughter and mother as a treat for their birthdays to Hapi Nails for Mani/Pedis. They not only rushed us out after I made an appointment three days before, but they were unkind to my nine year old daughter. This was her first spa experience and I am heartbroken that she had to deal with such dismissive behavior. They did not do any manicure work on my mother and daughter's hands and we're slapdash when applying their color. My mother's acrylics still have glue underneath her nails. The owner did not apologize once. When we left, a loyal customer let us know that she's been coming here for 7 years. I find that commendable that they treat their loyal customers so well, in our experience I found they completely disrespect new customers. While the salon was beautifully decorated, the experience was outrageously disgusting. If you're a new customer looking for a nail place, I wouldn't recommend it going to Hapi. read more
