This place is down the street from where I live. I think it's my new spot. They're nice, accommodating and have fair pricing. I always feel relaxed during the service and feel welcomed by their staff. The owner is great, she really does a great job. I usually get a square shape and today I wanted to try something different. I asked for a rounded nail and she talked me into trying the "almond" shape. (Which I absolutely love!) She added a tip and began to shape my nail. Then I chose the DD12 dip color and loved how soft it looked. At the end she asked if I wanted a nail design for Halloween and I agreed. She really did a fantastic job and I think I found a new shape that I love. Definitely come here if you want good nails. I've been here a total of 10 times this year alone and I'm always happy with the end result. I also got a gel deluxe pedicure which was great. Pricing for gel deluxe pedicure, dip manicure with nail tip, nail design and gel finish, plus tip, ended up paying $180.

Amazing job and service! Their chairs actually work and are updated and upgraded! It's always clean and sanitary...they don't do shortcuts...These are some of the nicest people you will meet in the industry.

I tend to get pedicures in one of two circumstances: I'm out with a friend or family member for a social outing or I've had a rough day and need to decompress. I went here today for the latter, and I'm grateful they were able to squeeze me in at super last minute, way at the end of the day (7pm! The hours alone earn them a star! It's too hot to do anything in the summer until at least 6!). I was a touch out of it and forgot to even look for a polish color (did I mention I had a really horrible day? And as I sat down, the song "Bad Day" literally did come on the radio? I had a bad day) and they weren't judge-y about my incompetence at all. I came here on my sister's recommendation, and it's not exactly like I would distrust what she has to say, but I'm glad it wasn't a fluke or an overstatement. My nail technician was pleasant and friendly and professional. I think she got the hint that I was mostly there to dissociate and read a book and was respectful of that, and when we did talk and joke about the absolutely disgusting state of my feet, it felt nice and easy, not malicious--I actually appreciated that it's the type of atmosphere where the clientele and staff are so friendly among themselves and between each other that they can joke about things like who's bringing coffee next and why somebody isn't getting both services done (it's me; I'm somebody--my hands are in horrible shape too, but I am not Warren Buffet and I also don't treat my hands in such a way that a manicure gets more than like three hours' of kindness anyway--way too much to do). She literally held my heel up and was like, "this is BAD"--and showed it to the technician next to her, and we all cracked up. Again, not malicious and not unprofessional--it felt very homey and like I was part of the club immediately. And it was just facts--I exercise barefoot and I walk around my house barefoot, so my feet are in objectively terrible shape 99% of the time no matter how much I pumice or scrub them at home. The prices are right there posted when you come in, so you don't have to ask or feel awkward about it. It became obvious that I was going to have to be bumped up from the regular "spa pedicure" to the next tier because of how long and extensive my service was to tame my calluses and absolute Grand Canyon of cracks. I didn't make note or remember to take a picture of the whole menu, but for pedis, at least, it's $30/40/45/50 depending on what you get as far as polish choice, scrub, etc. For the cheese grater heel treatment, sugar scrub, lotion, lower leg massage, and non-gel polish that I did today, it was $40, and I tipped $10 (I would usually do $5 or 7? Is that cheap? What is the standard for tipping? Is it 20% everywhere or is that just restaurants? Why are there so many rules? Tipping is a racist and predatory, anti-worker structure specifically designed to keep workers from financial stability and should be done away with, but I'll leave my Marxism off of yelp). I am not a massage therapist or nail technician, but I have worked *with* massage therapists at a spa and have a fair amount of body mechanics knowledge from 500 hours of Pilates teacher training, so I can say that I felt like this massage was the first pedicure leg massage I've ever received that actually seemed to be based on how your bones and muscles actually work. She did a lot of work loosening up my ankles and corrected me every time I tensed my calves. Typically you get a pleasant but not particularly functional or technical massage at a pedicures. So massive points there! It's very clean and you can see the "evidence," so to speak--there are clear signs for social distancing, clean/dirty labels on shelves of supplies, jars of barbicide, etc. It's also way bigger than you'd think from the tiny storefront (it's like a shotgun-style house), so you can bring a big party in! When I left, they were already encouraging me to come back in a way that seemed friendly, not pushy, because I had already been joking with other clients as I got my stuff ready to go. Like most mom and pop salons, they have a number of different brands, not just one--I don't know enough gel brands to recognize them quickly just by bottle shape, but OPI is well represented in the regular polish shelf. Also, I think my nails and heels look great! And frankly, I would literally not care if the polish were a hot mess, because my technician (whose name I did not ask; I am so awkward at salons that I end up being really rude; it's horrible) did such a wonderful job on my legs and feet that the color is really the least important part. And finally, to my fellow black people: we've probably all had the experience of being somewhere (*coughs in salon and shopping mall*) and being treated like we're not planning on paying--I've been to nail places where they withheld my shoes until I showed them my wallet. I did not get a whiff of that sentiment or treatment here.

Do NOT go here, especially for wax, They took more than half of my eyebrow off. Staff was apologetic, however now I have to deal with the confidence knocker & how it'll look growing back. Before & after picture for reference.( Before picture was when I got them done elsewhere)

Lynn is amazing! She never disappoints. Her attention to detail in shaping and style and design is always on point. Absolutely love my nails every time.

What I wanted (pretty simple) and what I got. This took two hours to do...manicure, my nails. Super simple.
    Vanessa D.

Very bummed. Nice staff but two hours on the chair to get an "ok" manicure. SIMPLE lines that look like garbage. I had to leave because I had to pick up my baby, other wise I would have had them redo it. But I already wasted 2 hours! I showed a picture of what I was trying to get and they said they could do it...obviously not. They are more about quantity not quality. "Hurry and get all the customers in, who cares if the nail tech can't do what they want them to do" see picture of what I was trying to do and what it looks like. Mind you, this took TWO HOURS. Does it look like two hours?? You tell me.

I called ahead and they said they had availability. After waiting about 10 mins the sat me in a chair to soak off my existing nails. After soaking for 30 minutes I finally sat down with a woman for my manicure. She was distracted and got up an left twice during my dip manicure. The manicure itself was ok, except when filing down the powder she kept missing and caused multiple fingered to bleed (pictured). The whole experience took nearly 2 hours for something that should take less than one.

This by far was the worst experience at a nail spa I've ever had. I treated myself to a pedicure because my skin on my foot was so dry and cracked, mind you I'm pregnant beyond words and due in 3 days. After some coercion from the man doing my nails, i agreed to a French tip pedicure, just white and clear regular polish. NOT GEL. This man massages the hell out of my skin with some type of epsom salt and it when I say it burned, he says it's okay I'll be fine, my skin hurt so badly! And then he started rubbing my leg with a HOT stone and left it on my ankle so long at one point I pulled my leg away! A woman walks in through the back door of the building at this point and they're having a heated conversation about something (I couldn't translate of course) and I didn't want to interrupt, so when there was a pause I asked about a simple French tip manicure because i had some more time before my last OBGYN appt, and I didn't know if I should get tips on or not because I wanted my nails to look natural. The photo I showed (with the yellow tips) was what I asked for, but with WHITE and CLEAR regular polish! He says yes the woman he was speaking to can do it. So when my feet were done, and he swears he cannot help my dry skin unless I purchased the EPOCH he was trying to force me to buy, he puts sandals on me and walks me to the chair for my nails with the woman there. I explain to her how I'd like my nails, show her the photos, set up my phone with the image available for reference and she says she doesn't need it. She begins my nails and is rough. SO ROUGH. She burnt me with the filing drill, with the handheld nail file, and kept throwing my hands at me as if she was pissed at me, all while having a heated conversation with the man who did my toes. When she's doing the French tip I explain I wanted the white space to be thin/slim. She ignores me and throws my hands and tells me to dry them in the UV light. Come to find, this was GEL polish and I didn't know. I've never had French tips on my hands before. I keep looking and I'm in tears and so embarrassed. When she finished she tells me it's $95! I give her $100 and she asks if I want my change, I say yes and I'm crying so hard I can't even speak. I tell her I hate my nails and I was too embarrassed to ask her to fix them and feared she'd be even more rude to me! I will never return. I'm heartbroken and feel scammed. -100/10 to this establishment. My prenatal mani pedi made me feel even worse and now my skin is on fire, I hate my nails, and I feel so cheated like I wasted so much money. Never again.

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and completely at ease. It's one of those places you walk into and can just chat and relax! I honestly felt right at home the entire time. My nail tech (owner) helped recommend the perfect shape and color for me, and I'm so glad I trusted him because my nails came out absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and care they put into their work really shows. I walked out feeling like a brand new woman confident, refreshed, and so happy with how everything turned out. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back! Also love that they are walk in only just because life sometimes is chaotic makes flexibility easy! Also you can order drinks from the boba place next door as you relax!

She picked out a nice pink. They did her feet. It couldn't figure out how to do the "eye" part she requested. She was told they couldn't do that pattern with that brand. So now she needed to use a different color for her nails. So she picked the closest she could find. She was left by the girl doing her pedi with her wax and bag in her feet for 20 minutes until another employee came and removed it. Went to get her. Ails done and that person didn't know anything about matching the color to her feet. I went to sit down next to my friend to keep her company. I was told by the man working g there I couldn't use that chair although there's was no one that sat there the whole time. He offered me the little chair with wheels . I said no. I'll call Off that thing . So it took us 2.5 hours for these services . I believe we were also overcharged ! $250 for 2 pedis ( cat eye) and one full set that didn't match the toes. I don't understand why it took so long and so much! The pedicures were $75 with the cat eye . How would one set on nails cost $100? Crazy! Horrible service. The only good thing was they pedi we wanted they didn't have in stock. They offered us the upgrade for the same price. I don't these people listen to their customers or don't understand.
