Welcoming staff is the first thing I noticed. So many colors to choose from!! Staff listened to my wants and needs when it came to my pedicure! I was pleasantly surprised the time they took and how throughout they were.

Customer service was good , but beware , these ladies are sales people for sure.. they sweet talk you in to getting more than you need. I got gel mani ( white tip ) and gel pedi ( all white ) I also did eye brows.. total came out to 142.80 lol how.. that's almost 50.00 per service ... so I wont be going back.. not worth 142.80 plus I tipped 3 people , one who did my feet the one who did my hands and the one who did my brows smh

Easily the best nail salon in Tucson, I have been to a couple other salons and nothing compares to the service here. Tina was the most generous, kindest nail tech I have ever had. Not only did she take me in last minute but her attention to detail was insane. I will a 100% come back. Her pricing is also amazing considering how much work she puts in. She is such a good conversationalist while getting ur nails done too. Worth every penny!

Good service by Lynn and the owner. Friendly environment. I made my appointment two hours in advance. I received a new liquid gel set and paid $55. They explained each step as they went through it. They told me a refill would be $45. I will be back. read more

Very Sketchy place. Window shows 8am/8pm open & walk-ins welcome. Each time I've gone by its been empty. Owner REFUSES even a PRE-PAID SERVICE honored unless credit card info. is given to a 3RD PARTY?. Nail girl Daniel gave no text response when I asked "why I had to supply credit card no. when PRE-PAID? If I don't show up cancel the pre-purchased groupon. Owner didn't seem to agree with "Customers should know ahead of time of a $50 fee required to even book an appt. *Worse yet, trying to pressure me into providing credit card to an outside company? read more

The staff were amazing friendly and did an amazing job. My friend and I went for pedicures and I got my nails filled. The tech took his time with my nails and it showed. Would recommend 100%. They offered us water and chocolates was great. read more

Amy and John Nguyen are the owners and also work alongside Wendy and Nick. Each of them is experienced in the latest nail fashions. I have been going to Amy for gel (liquid builder gel) and pedicures for 10 years. I was so happy when they opened their own salon! Amy is very exacting in her work and I noticed that she requires that of every nail tech who works for her. As I have diabetes it is very important that my pedicurists are careful and knowledgeable about foot and nail issues. I've always been delighted with every manicure or pedicure as has everyone I've referred to this salon. You will be too! read more

This place used to be AMAZING when Tina was the owner, but she sold it and it's gone way downhill. The worst part is the new owners fired Tina. I've been going to this place for over 20 years. Easily the best nail salon in Tucson, I have been to a couple other salons and nothing compares to the service here. Tina was the most generous, kindest nail tech I have ever had. Not only did she take me in last minute but her attention to detail was insane. I will a 100% come back. Her pricing is also amazing considering how much work she puts in. Tina is the sweetest, most caring nail tech I've had the privilege of meeting! I've been through a lot of the nail salons in town and she's the one I keep coming back for !! She does GREAT on shapes. First time trying this place, my husband had an appointment down the street so I decided to kill some time and pop in, it was the closest salon to where we were, and the reviews were good! When I first walked in I noticed that it's definitely not a place they waste money on fancy decor, very basic, lots of polishes on the wall, and a HUGE selection of gel polishes! I came in specifically looking for neon yellow! It's such a fun color in the summer time, and my hubby likes when I have an accent nail, I found just what I was looking for, and went with a teal glitter ring finger to go with the neon! I love them! Funky like me! The ladies were SUPER nice, I was greeted right away, and they were careful to explain pricing, and pricing for future visits! I noticed the pedi sign on the wall and knew I'd come back! $25-$45 depending on the extras, the prices were great! The cleaned up my nails and removed cuticles- even though I wasn't getting a mani with my polish change! A+ from me on that! The girl I had was careful, and did a really nice job! $15, and a .50 fee to run a card (but that's okay because $15 is still quite affordable) I was happy to leave a generous tip! And took a card-although they are almost 10 miles from home, I will make the trip back, the quality and friendliness is worth a drive across town! This place is a little hidden gem! read more

Walked in and there was only one person getting their nails done. I asked if I could just get my acrylics removed and nothing else. One of the techs said "we don't have time for you" like they didn't want me to be there after hearing what I wanted done. It was very unwelcoming and rude. read more

Left in tears. I have strong, beautiful, natural nails. Went with my mom for a manicure and the gentleman who works there absolutely butchered them. He hacked off all the length so quickly with a cuticle nipper I couldn't get a word in to stop him. He left messy cuticles and tons of rough edges. Tina stepped in to smooth the nails and fix the cuticles but the damage to my nails was already done, and she had to file them even shorter to get rid of the rough edges. I look like a five year old with no nails at all. Tina apologized but I still had to pay for this atrocious job. I've always been happy with their pedicures but I'll not be going back. Avoid the man who works there at all costs. Next day update: they are so short some of them actually hurt. Even if somehow the person who cut them somehow thought that someone who had long nails wanted them completely gone, exposing the nailbed edge so they are painful is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

This was my first time being here since my other nail place did not have any appointments available. I asked for 3 different things and kept getting told they couldn't do it. My other nail place has done it multiple times so I don't understand why they could not. I do not recommend going here. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE amor nails. Diego and Tina are funny kind and great at their job. Definitely recommend making appointment before hand because since COVID it is just them two. But I never have a problem with lifting and gel stays on 2 weeks minimum. They are my go to nail spot in tucson been coming here for years. read more

I work near Amor Nails and 2 people I work with highly recommend them. I decided to leave work a few minutes early so that I could get there right at 5 so that I made my 6pm happy hour meeting. I arrived, was greeted in a friendly manner and was told to take a seat at the 2nd station I believe since I wanted to get a gel manicure. Immediately, the guy brought me warm water to soak my hands in as well as the color wheel to pick my gel color. As he was working on my nails I observed how as people walk in the owner lady would find out what they needed and immediately work on a plan as to how she was going to get them taken care of. No one really had an appointment but everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. I have short, stubby nails and difficult cuticles, but my manicurist took care of everything nicely, which is hard to do. I was out of there by 5:35 and made my happy hour! Arrived in Tucson and needed a salon by our hotel. Was impressed by their pleasant phone manner when I called to inquire about prices and availability. They fit me in for the deluxe mani pedi even though they were closing in less than an hour. The family run salon is small, five pedicure stations, but clean, efficient and friendly. They were kind and genuine in their care and communication throughout the process. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them! Will definitely be back next time we are in Tucson. read more

Tina & her staff are the sweetest, most gentle nail technicians I have found here in Tucson! (Emphasis on the SWEET! I mean they are always super nice!) They are all so welcoming & do a great job on any service you decide to get. I come in for a full set & spend less than an hour here! If I come in for a fill, it only takes about 30 mins. They're fast without lacking quality! I have recommended family & friends because they do not disappoint. If you're looking for a salon than is very adorable with great quality, you will find it here. read more

I was sort of throw to the side for an appointment instead of finishing up my nails first but she gave me a discount and I was almost done and she had done such a great job so I want upset about really. Very pleased was at Mercedes dealer and needed a pedicure and to kill time. I check gadabout but fumes were awful. Checked and this placed had good reviews and took me immediately. 25 dollars for sea salt leg massage and callous removal which boy did I need and a fresh polish.... Tina was so sweet and kind and did an excellent job. This is close to Costco and TMC and I will be coming here whenever I am in the area! read more

When I left from my appt a few lashes came out and throughout the week it got worse. Not just the false lash my real lashes were coming out with them! I have several gaps in my lashes and it hasn't even been a week yet. My other lash was perfectly fine no issues , no sheddingI called them on day four or five getting my lashes done and they told me since I didn't call 24 to 48 hrs after ur appt they can't do anything. I'm thinking to myself" why did I pay 100$ plus tip for my lashes to last half a week. The manager of this establishment told me she's going to see what she can do for me and that someone will call me back. No one called back I had to call them. Then the manager proceeded to tell me me "oh yea we can get definitely fix ur lash for you. We'll schedule you for a mini fill". At this point I'm so happy because they are going to fix it. No , the manager made it seem like it would be a complementary fill until I asked her would I have to pay for it, $55. If I didn't ask her if I was going to be charged, she wouldn't have told me. In the back of my mind I'm thinking " So you want me to spend 150 dollars on my lashes in less than a week?! "Don't go here. They don't care about their clients because if they did they would have fixed the problem. I wasn't asking for them to do my whole lash over I just asked if she could fix it to make it not look so crazy considering I'm going out of town this Friday. Don't let these people play you. I was given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't help me out. After I paid for my service and tipped really well. Considering she is still learning and a beginner lash tech they should encourage them to fix their mistake especially if it was lesss than a week. Don't waste ur time y'all.

I finally decided to splurge for myself. Google and Yelp reviews suggested the Lash Lounge was best in Tucson. Their price for the full set ($89 with Selena) seemed reasonable and they were able to set me up with an appointment by the best week. My first impression when I walked in was that the salon was cute and clean. I had to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time but that wasn't too bad considering their waiting room is comfortable and they offer you water. Selena led me to a private room and I laid on an incredibly soft cot lined with fleece blankets. It was so comfortable that I'm certain people fall asleep during their visits. I know I did. After anchoring my bottom lashes with tape that was almost on my eye balls, the lash application process took about two hours and was for the most part relaxing. However at some points the lash glue would seep into my eyes and sting causing me to tear up like crazy. I asked the technician if that was normal and she mentioned it happens to some people especially during the initial visit because we are just not used to having implements so close to our eyes. Makes sense. The final clean up is removing glue and lashes that inadvertently end up where they don't belong. It was hard to open my eyes at that point having had them closed for a few hours but Selena was efficient. Overall I like my lashes but I think I'm going to go more dramatic for the fill in four weeks.

While it's true that they are more expensive than conventional nail salons, there's a reason for that. You'll also need to book pretty far in advance if you are looking for a certain time of day, for example a weekday morning. I'm not someone who gets my nails done on a regular basis, it's kind of just a special occasion type of thing. And also results will vary just depending on the technician you get. I've seen at least three different people there and the end result is always different. Generally though, if you are looking for a place to go that offers options that are better than the super-toxic options, this is a place to check out.

Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere pressing I needed to be that morning. At my appointment, the service was great. I got greeted and seated right away. I got to pick out my color and then the service began. It was a lovely moment to relax for myself. The foot and calf massage was the best. I didn't want her to stop. It was a bit on the pricier side than I usually pay at my normal spot. I usually get a gel polish, but the gel was an add-on to any already high priced service. I just got the regular polish and am a bit disappointed that the polish, only 5 days later, is kind of messed up already. Especially with how much it cost.
