I received a polish change, told them to just paint the nail since I had already prepped my own toes. They did not listen started buffing and filing and while painting used her fingernail to wipe the polish underneath my nails. To my surprise a week after I got left I started to see something growing under the nail polish because I had gotten a French tip. It started spreading down my nails. I removed the nail polish only for it to reveal a white flaky hard fungus. I cannot believe this! I will never go back, they clearly do not utilize new tools or at the very least sanitize. I have been going to Amy for gel (liquid builder gel) and pedicures for 10 years. I was so happy when they opened their own salon! Amy is very exacting in her work and I noticed that she requires that of every nail tech who works for her. As I have diabetes it is very important that my pedicurists are careful and knowledgeable about foot and nail issues. Went to get my nails done for my birthday and not only did I pay full price after they literally filed the sides of my fingers.. two of my fingers are bleeding. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. Oh and I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment to even get started... P.S the nail tech blamed it on the shape of the nails and that it was "dry skin" most painful full set of my life. First time trying this place, my husband had an appointment down the street so I decided to kill some time and pop in, it was the closest salon to where we were, and the reviews were good! When I first walked in I noticed that it's definitely not a place they waste money on fancy decor, very basic, lots of polishes on the wall, and a HUGE selection of gel polishes! I came in specifically looking for neon yellow! It's such a fun color in the summer time, and my hubby likes when I have an accent nail, I found just what I was looking for, and went with a teal glitter ring finger to go with the neon! I love them! Funky like me! The ladies were SUPER nice, I was greeted right away, and they were careful to explain pricing, and pricing for future visits! I noticed the pedi sign on the wall and knew I'd come back! $25-$45 depending on the extras, the prices were great! The cleaned up my nails and removed cuticles- even though I wasn't getting a mani with my polish change! A+ from me on that! The girl I had was careful, and did a really nice job! $15, and a .50 fee to run a card (but that's okay because $15 is still quite affordable) I was happy to leave a generous tip! And took a card-although they are almost 10 miles from home, I will make the trip back, the quality and friendliness is worth a drive across town! This place is a little hidden gem! read more

Walked in and there was only one person getting their nails done. I asked if I could just get my acrylics removed and nothing else. One of the techs said "we don't have time for you" like they didn't want me to be there after hearing what I wanted done. It was very unwelcoming and rude. read more

Left in tears. I have strong, beautiful, natural nails. Went with my mom for a manicure and the gentleman who works there absolutely butchered them. He hacked off all the length so quickly with a cuticle nipper I couldn't get a word in to stop him. He left messy cuticles and tons of rough edges. Tina stepped in to smooth the nails and fix the cuticles but the damage to my nails was already done, and she had to file them even shorter to get rid of the rough edges. I look like a five year old with no nails at all. Tina apologized but I still had to pay for this atrocious job. I've always been happy with their pedicures but I'll not be going back. Avoid the man who works there at all costs. Next day update: they are so short some of them actually hurt. Even if somehow the person who cut them somehow thought that someone who had long nails wanted them completely gone, exposing the nailbed edge so they are painful is unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

I work near Amor Nails and 2 people I work with highly recommend them. I decided to leave work a few minutes early so that I could get there right at 5 so that I made my 6pm happy hour meeting. I arrived, was greeted in a friendly manner and was told to take a seat at the 2nd station I believe since I wanted to get a gel manicure. Immediately, the guy brought me warm water to soak my hands in as well as the color wheel to pick my gel color. As he was working on my nails I observed how as people walk in the owner lady would find out what they needed and immediately work on a plan as to how she was going to get them taken care of. No one really had an appointment but everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. I have short, stubby nails and difficult cuticles, but my manicurist took care of everything nicely, which is hard to do. I was out of there by 5:35 and made my happy hour!
