I've been going to Melissa for almost 7 years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my lashes but her. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her clients. What I love about this lash studio is how clean and glamorous it is & the comfortable bed you get to lay on while she goes to work on your fills. Melissa goes out of her way and tries her best to squeeze you in for last minute appointments, she cares about the health of your natural lashes and also very well educated mentor for the soon-to-be young lash technicians. FIVE STARS

LOVE LOVE LOVE Melissa…read more I had been to 2 other lash places before this (lashes del sol and kist by mist) and Melissa was by FAR the best. I had issues with the first place I went to (lashes del sol) my lashes on my left eye looked noticeably less full than the lashes on my right eye, and the second place (kist by mist), even though she tried the best she could to fix the first job, still wasn't that great, and I kept losing so many lashes! One of my close friends recommended Melissa, as she saw her the week before, so I booked my appointment right away.. and this was the first time I actually fell asleep while someone doing my lashes. The experience is so relaxing, and I am one of those people that can never sleep easily, let alone someone doing my lashes... My lashes looked awesome after Melissa was done... and I barely lost any lashes for the (almost) 2 weeks that I've had them. I've never had someone "cure" my lashes and honestly, it works... I'm pretty gentle when it comes to my extensions... but this definitely made a difference. I cannot wait to go get my fill tomorrow! :) I would recommend Melissa over ANY lash extension business in Tucson!

When I left from my appt a few lashes came out and throughout the week it got worse. Not just the false lash my real lashes were coming out with them! I have several gaps in my lashes and it hasn't even been a week yet. My other lash was perfectly fine no issues , no sheddingI called them on day four or five getting my lashes done and they told me since I didn't call 24 to 48 hrs after ur appt they can't do anything. I'm thinking to myself" why did I pay 100$ plus tip for my lashes to last half a week. The manager of this establishment told me she's going to see what she can do for me and that someone will call me back. No one called back I had to call them. Then the manager proceeded to tell me me "oh yea we can get definitely fix ur lash for you. We'll schedule you for a mini fill". At this point I'm so happy because they are going to fix it. No , the manager made it seem like it would be a complementary fill until I asked her would I have to pay for it, $55. If I didn't ask her if I was going to be charged, she wouldn't have told me. In the back of my mind I'm thinking " So you want me to spend 150 dollars on my lashes in less than a week?! "Don't go here. They don't care about their clients because if they did they would have fixed the problem. I wasn't asking for them to do my whole lash over I just asked if she could fix it to make it not look so crazy considering I'm going out of town this Friday. Don't let these people play you. I was given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't help me out. After I paid for my service and tipped really well. Considering she is still learning and a beginner lash tech they should encourage them to fix their mistake especially if it was lesss than a week. Don't waste ur time y'all.

I've always envied my girlfriend's lash extensions. I had never realized what a big effect lashes…read morecould have until I noticed she never wore eye makeup but still looked Hollywood glam. I finally decided to splurge for myself. Google and Yelp reviews suggested the Lash Lounge was best in Tucson. Their price for the full set ($89 with Selena) seemed reasonable and they were able to set me up with an appointment by the best week. My first impression when I walked in was that the salon was cute and clean. I had to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time but that wasn't too bad considering their waiting room is comfortable and they offer you water. Selena led me to a private room and I laid on an incredibly soft cot lined with fleece blankets. It was so comfortable that I'm certain people fall asleep during their visits. I know I did. After anchoring my bottom lashes with tape that was almost on my eye balls, the lash application process took about two hours and was for the most part relaxing. However at some points the lash glue would seep into my eyes and sting causing me to tear up like crazy. I asked the technician if that was normal and she mentioned it happens to some people especially during the initial visit because we are just not used to having implements so close to our eyes. Makes sense. The final clean up is removing glue and lashes that inadvertently end up where they don't belong. It was hard to open my eyes at that point having had them closed for a few hours but Selena was efficient. Overall I like my lashes but I think I'm going to go more dramatic for the fill in four weeks.

I also love that I can sit there, absolutely silent, and not feel obligated to chit chat; I can also yap about my job and not feel like I'm a nuisance. You want your aesthetician to be a girl's girl, and Ashley is definitively that. I have had my family members also get their eyebrows waxed by Ashley, with similar rave reviews. Because of my brand loyalty, for lack of a better word, I have also gifted services other than waxing to friends and family with similar results. My one issue with Selah is their booking platform, Vagaro. I hate hate HATE it because it is consistently buggy. I will book a service, then never receive a confirmation email. Then, I need to call anyway. This has resulted in a lot of my booking being in-person for ease.
