My daughter and I had regular manicures, no gel. This seemed to really irritate the two men who did our nails. Don't get a regular manicure here if you take the chance at all. Also ask for a woman. They cleaned cuticles using dremel tool which is outrageous! No soaking or anything of a typical manicure. Damaged my nails. Man I had constantly telling to relax my hand. Was very rude and abrupt. Women who did our pedicures were great and that's only reason I gave this even two stars. I will never go here again. read more

Our whole office came here for a team mani and pedi. They were able to accommodate all 9 of us. And they are all very accomodating. Nice nail technicians. Lots of colors to choose from. I recommend this place, if you live around Oro Valley. They even gave us hand lotion since it's the Mother's Day weekend. read more

Just had a dip manicure yesterday, and although my nails may be short, it should not have take 1 hour + 40 mins! The tech was not a good listener, was very rough and it hurt! (A MANICURE SHOULD NOT HURT). I clearly stated I wanted white dip with a little sparkle. After SIX layers of dip powder, my nails looked like wide, flat and mini spatulas ‍. The right hand had a pink hue to it, so she drilled off the pink and proceeded to add more layers to each nail. By the time she was done, my cuticles were so red and sensitive (24 hours later they still are). I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Sadly, this salon was highly recommended to me from my friend. My friend did say she only goes to the owner and she had heard that her sister was very good too. Unfortunately, neither were available during the time that worked for me, so I went with another nail tech...BIG MISTAKE! My family has been coming here since they opened and we have yet to find a nail saloon that comes close to OV Posh. The service is outstanding, the staff are so friendly and patient, and the final product is top class. The massage chairs are essentially brand new and very comfortable. I also really like how clean the saloon is. As a guy it can be pretty intimidating going to a nail saloon but they instantly made me feel welcome from Day 1 and took exceptional care of me. I do not live in Tucson but anytime I visit I try to come here because they truly are the best. It all starts at the top with the owner Stacy who works here often and is so friendly and caring. She spends time greeting customers and making sure you get the treatment you need. Most recently we had Kevin and Candy who both did a fantastic job (we both didn't wanna get up because it felt so good). I highly encourage anyone interested to treat yourself and come here. I have been a customer since 2018 and I have never left so disappointed. I called to set the appointment and explained exactly what I wanted and they assured me that they could do it since they have more than 250 different colors. The first red flag: When I got there, they couldn't match the colors that I was asking for (which sometimes can be hard, I understand) -- but they should at least hear what the customer is asking for. The nail tech had already applied the long tips on my nails, so I couldn't even go through the colors and choose the ones I wanted. They kept bringing me pink colors when I said I wanted nude/brown. And the list keeps going: 1. I asked for way shorter nails and nails are bumpy. 2. The nail tech just grabbed my finger and applied the white color on my thumb without even asking me if that was the final decision. 3. She got nail polish on the corner of my finger and didn't even bother to clean. 4. I had to ask for cuticle oil (are you really going to send me home with dry cuticles?) Anyway, the only reason why I'm not rating 1 star is because I've been going there for a while and had some good experience in the past. read more

When I arrived I showed my nail art that I wanted done and they agreed that they could do it they did an amazing job and even added extra snowflakes for me and gave me a complimentary lotion at the end for The holidays. Everything was a really enjoyable experience. My nail technician was very polite and accommodating to what I have wanted done. And even added some suggestions on what would make it better. I am grateful for her input. I did not get her name however I noticed her hand was injured. My boyfriend and I had a good time I will be going back to that nail technician again. read more

Hatchet Shop: Went here to get a pedicure I paid $45 for, and what I got was rude, poor customer service and the nail tech butchered my toes. There was some light bleeding. The only welcoming person there was the receptionist. The other employees were not very welcoming either. When you work with the public you should have good interpersonal skills and a good work ethic, the nail tech possessed neither. I asked for my nails to be trimmed since they had grown out from my last pedicure. She refused to trim my toenails saying that if she did that, it may hurt. (in hindsight it's probably good she refused to trim them, as who knows how much more blood that would have left too) The nail tech, Candi, also left nail polish on my skin and complained in a foreign language to her coworkers in a hostile tone of voice, immediately after I asked her to fix this, then she pretended to fix it, but she still left some polish on my toes & since I lacked the crayons to point out the rest of what was wrong, I just decided to leave and never return. Shortly after that, I noticed she left thick dry callused, hardened skin around to the tops of my toes and some bloody edges. She left the nails uneven & blamed that on the previous nail tech, I did not go there to argue with anyone, she never took ownership of the problem, and just went on to place the blame elsewhere. She did not bother moisturizing my feet, she left me sitting in the chair while she went up and started doing another customer's nails and never returned and neither will I! read more

I have had a tough time finding a good nail salon in Tucson, but I think I have finally found my place. Have been here a couple of times. I stick to getting a gel mani/pedi with simple colors, nothing too crazy. They have a wide selection of colors and both times the nail artist working on my nails has been very thorough. I tend to get a lot of cuticle buildup, and the artists here know exactly how to take care of it without causing me to start bleeding all over. The place is always packed, so make sure to book an appointment. In my opinion the prices are average, I ended up paying $63 for gel manicure and a classic pedicure. I would say this is about what I would be paying at any other decent nail salon so I did not mind at all. Next time I need to try dip or have some designs done to really assess the skill. read more

Go at your own risk! Left with injury! I have been here a couple of times between 2018 and 2019. I stopped by last Monday arruond 4pm without an appointment for a pedicure. I was told it would be a 15 min wait. I was seated 30 minutes later and my pedicure began after another 15 min. before I even got my feet in the water. Please, just be honest, if you tell someoneI 15 min. don't make it be 45min. Not to mention that the person that arrived 5 min after me, also without an appointment got tended to 10 min sooner than me. I chose the pedicure with callus treatment. This was not the first wime I had this specific pedicure. The lady that was working on me must have put some of the chemichal callus gel on parts of my foot she shouldn't have because after a little bit it started burning, a lot! So I told her and she sprained some water on the area, and continued with my pedicure.  That didn't help because at that point it was burning so much I had a hard time holding my tears. She put my foot in the warm water where my other foot was soaking and that made it even worse. She called the owner to take a look and other colleagues too. But who knows what they were saying to each other. No need to say that is extremely rude to talk a language your customer doesn't understand. She insisted with the store owner that she put the callus remover only on my heels, but it was clear some spilled elsewhere because the affected area was very irritated and started bubbling up. I was in serious pain but suffered through until the end. When she was done and my drying time was over she didn't even come to apologize but sent a coworker to tell me they will check me out at front. Check me out? I was supposed to pay $40 for getting an injury? I told them that I was in pain, and that I needed medical attention and I was leaving with an injury. They agreed not to make me pay, lucky for them because they get away with just a bad review otherwise they would have had a lawsuit to worry about too. Also....update a week later, on vacation in Europe, limping because of the pain, unable to do the hiking in the Alps I had plans. Still healing,  still painful. I will never ever go there again ever, this place should be shut down. read more

I'm not going to lie I'm pretty upset with how my nails turned out. I was extremely hopeful the whole time. It was busy but I made an appointment for Friday at 2pm 3 days in advance. I got here and though it was busy the lady said she was ready. We started on removing my nails, she was very kind and tried her hardest to make them not hurt but they should have been soaked off. I showed her a picture for inspiration and said I would like medium long nails because the picture show extra long nails. She cut them down and I didn't mind. Then she cut them narrow which I also didn't mind but lost the shape that was originally in the picture. Slowly the shape started getting more round and shorter everywhere after she put the tips on. I thought maybe she could save the nails by the designs but at this time she was more concerned about the other appointments walking in. As soon as she started painting my nails, I kept getting hit by this daughter sitting in her moms walker which I was trying to be so understanding at this rate but I was just over it. After she finished painting my nails they were NOTHING like the picture. She thankfully didn't charge me for the design on the 2 fingers. As I checked out, I looked more at my nails and came back saying I'd like them removed. THIS IS WHERE MY NIGHTMARE HAPPENS...because it's Oro valley and everyone likes to be involved but not say anything, I was being watched by everyone in the salon just asking to get my nails removed though I was just in. INSTEAD OF JUST AGREEING, the lady who did my nails comes to the front and yells how beautiful these are and why would I want them off. I showed the front desk and the other Karen standing there watching that the photo and my nails look nothing alike after paying what they asked which was $62. The nail lady stated what you want your money? That is when I explained I would pay to remove these. They started raising their voice to have my sit and soak them off. First time at this salon, and the first time my little sister got her feet done. We both had the callus pedicure and was amazing and relaxing. Best time to go is early in the morning I find! My sister had such a great experience she raved about the lady that did her feet on how attentive she was since she was nervous and very ticklish. The treatment was amazing especially if you are a dancer and the callus accumulates. And her nail art... AMAZING! I've never seen nail art like this. Whenever I go to other salons I will pay for a flower and they give me something a two year old can draw, like five dots. This caring lady is amazing and took her time on my sister. I sent my daughter and her friend to get their nails done for prom. We scheduled appointments far in advance. On the day of the appointment they waited well over 30 minutes past their appointment time to be helped. One set was ok, the other set was not smooth at all. The nail bed was lumpy like the fill powder wasn't smoothed out. It was very visible even after being painted. Oh! And the student discount mentioned online? That equalled $2 on a $120 bill! This, however, wasn't the first time we had used this establishment. The first was well before covid and we had gotten gel manicures.. The polish chipped off every person (at least 5 people) within 3 days. The straw that broke the camel's back that lead to a poor review happened today. Another appointment, for fills.. Usually this place is pretty good but last Thursday was a disaster. I made an 11:00 appointment for a pedicure and a eyebrow wax. I had to wait for 30 minutes until anyone could get to me, I sat there with my feet in water so long the water was cool and then the gal who did it was rough with my feet and basically very impatient. It is a clean salon and the manicurists are all professional, licensed and do their job well. Worst experience ever! I went for a pedicure, a sloppy polish job, and left a noticeable amount of dead skin around my toes. I tried to point this out, but she spoke no English, and no one else around seemed to care when I tried to get my point translated, that was a fail. I paid, left a crappy tip, and when I arrived home I had to clean and correct the polish and vowed to never return to this salon. After posting my last update the owner reached out to me through yelp messenger. I would like to clarify some things. 1. The male who was texting did not provide a great service. He was more concerned about texting than providing me with a $38 pedicure. He was very unprofessional and inconsiderate of what I needed done. 2. The female employee who did my mothers mani/pedi did an amazing job! She took the time to make sure my mother was happy and I appreciated that. The male who did my manicure was also very good and took the time to make sure they were perfect. He took great pride in his work. 3. In regards to the coupon; it was provided to me by Yelp. It seems like the owner does not like giving discounts and for the amount of money you pay here it's ridiculous that they would be so upset in regards to a $5 off coupon. The coupon I had was not expired and once I clicked "redeem now" a timer was set. Which meant once it was done I could no longer use the coupon. (See attached photos) 4. I have been here before to this beautiful spa for a pedicure with my mom before and had a pleasant experience, so I decided to give acrylics a go. This was a bad idea. I made an appointment the day before, and arrived promptly. I was barely greeted and then was asked to sit down at a specific station. The man that would be doing my nails did not greet me when he approached the station and was texting for the first minute we sat at the station. Red flag number 1. He started to do my nails after I chose a polish color and did not ask me what kind of shape of nails I wanted and did not ask how long I wanted them. Red flag number 2. He put his phone in the corner of his station so that he could see it the entire time and focused more on his phone than my nails, often continuing to stare at his phone while my nails are being shaved down and barely passed over them. There was an insane lack of detail and care while he was doing my nails because his phone was more important. He even commented on my nails and told me that they were too long after we were almost finished. At the end, he had put cuticle oil on my fingers and my palms were full of oil, to which he then asked me to go wash it all off with soap as if this is their normal practice. What a waste. My nails are very bumpy and uneven and wide, making them unflattering. My coworker commented on how wide they were as soon as I showed them to her. Very frustrating. I ended up paying $47 for this service that I'd barely call a service. It's a shame, because this salon is beautiful and in a fantastic location in Oro Valley. I had higher hopes, but have come to realize that all Vietnamese nail salons are the same. The only positive I can garner from this experience is that the gel is beautiful and I love the color. The woman seated next to me waited with foils on her fingers for almost the entire time (40 mins) it took for me to get my nails done. Another red flag. Please don't waste your time at this salon getting anything other than a simple pedi or mani. read more

The technician asked if I was interested in the "gel dipped nails" and guaranteed they'd stay for two weeks. I was skeptical, they always say that right?! Well, it's the middle of August and my nails are still intact and not at all ready to be re-done! Sure, in the past few weeks I've given them a little file and re-painted them but they still look phenomenal! I would highly recommend.
