I had a lovely, relaxing massage today by TJ, one of the students. This was my first time at this location and I think I prefer it over the Oracle location as it is quieter inside. The room had the perfect darkness and the music was very soothing. I would not have guessed TJ was a student, he did a pretty good job! It's very easy to book an appointment over the phone and all of the staff I've encountered have been extremely nice. I'll be back for sure. read more

Overall, I received many massages here and they were wonderful. One was a disappointment but the owners made their service blunder right. Integrity matters! read more

Had a great facial by Alberta. She explains each step of the facial and you never feel like she rushing to finish the process. The ladies at the reception are always very pleasant too. read more

I have been a member of Rubs for a couple years. The work they do is very good, however I find the customer service to be lacking. Specifically, I had once booked a service with them and they had to chnage the date 3 times on me because of various reasons (I understood and went along with them). The next appointment that I had unfortunately my infant was extremely sick so i attempted to cancel that morning - I wasn't expecting anything beyond the cancelation and was even willing to pay for late cancelation, so that wasnt the issue - it was the rudeness of the person who took the call and didnt even bother to be courteous and instead began to lecture me on how i need to respect staff (shocking after 3 reschedules by THEM 10 mins before my appointment). So again, nothing against their girls, and their products, and perhaps my experience was isolated but I am not interested in going back to them even though i have an active membership. I did find a better place since and am happier with the results. read more

I'm so glad that Rubs has reintroduced microdermabrasion and dermaplaning facial. Alberta is a highly qualified professional aesthetician who excels at her job. I hope that Rubs will introduce more cutting edge technology i.e. red light therapy, body wraps etc.. read more

This place has quality service, I booked my massage over the phone it was so easy and they offer sales on different days of the week

I have been coming to this location for a few years now and am always happy! I'm not a member, but I usually get the escape package --a 50 minute massage and a mini-facial--which is $99 whether you're a member or not. Other services have different pricing options based on whether you're a member or not. Based on my schedule, I usually have a different massage therapist, but they've all been fantastic. Last night I got a massage from Adora and she was especially great! Very professional and attentive to my needs! I plan on seeing her again. I got my mini-facial from AJ and he is top-notch. They are lucky to have someone so knowledgeable and passionate about skincare. He gives the best facial massages too! I've had other estheticians and they've been great as well. I know I will keep coming back! Thank you for providing such excellent services! Highly recommend! read more

Best Facial in Tucson. Alberta was amazing! Her hands danced on my faced giving a magical massage! The 80 minute is the way to have hands feet and face treated to amazing massage! read more

I visited here last weekend with my boyfriend and we both had a great massage session. I had purchased a $100 gift card from Rubs for my boyfriend's birthday last month as he had never had a professional massage done before. He said he enjoyed it a lot. I used to get professional massages done and have been looking for a new place near me since moving. And I think I have found it! This massage studio was very friendly from start to finish. My massage therapist listened to exactly what I wanted and had the perfect amount of pressure thru the whole session. A bonus item they provided was hot towels on my back, neck and feet. That felt so good! Rubs has an annual membership you can purchase which will give you discounts on all of their services at any Rubs studio location. I am tempted but may try another few service items before committing. All in all though I will be back! read more

AMAZING! Alberta does my facials. She is wonderful very experienced at it. Fabulous personality enjoy my time with her. She also keeps very up to date on current products and procedures. Rubs has a great front staff too. And great massage therapist! Will continue my business there. read more

This is truly an exceptional massage studio to go to. I was looking for more of a local place versus the national chains such as massage envy and Rubs massage studio did not disappoint! This was my second visit here. Last month I got an awesome massage and this time I went in for a facial which is also amazing! The front desk staff is very warm and friendly and the therapists that I've had so far received A + from me and made me feel comfortable! I even signed up to be parlor member program which is really easy to enroll and you're not committed to a contract and their monthly perks. read more

I tried to book a Deep tissue message and a Microderm facial today via in their site. I wanted a 11am but i got a call they had a 2:00. They said to call back to keep appointment. When i called back a got a very rude front desk receptionist that didn't have the information and was short with me. I wish businesses would understand that front desk people are the first person potential customers speak to. All i ask for is friendly and professional. Try to hire people that want to be there and are kind. read more

I was happy here until today. I became busy and missed my massage. When I called to appologize and reschedule I was told they have a 24 hr policy to cancel and charge my CC the full amount. First of all why is my CC on file wirhout my consent. It was my first missed appt. When I called the second time I was told I missed 2 other appt which isn't true it was my daughter and her boyfriend not me. I will never grace them with my business again. Beware of them hiolding your CC hostage. read more

I had Charlie my first time and now I won't have anyone else. He knows just how much pressure to use.

Ourstanding massage therapists, staff, friendly service and totally professional. Sheri is the best therapist I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She is a magician. Friendly, total expert, and always knows where my body needs the most attention. I always leave refreshed and relaxed. The Best! read more

I've been getting massages here for about 7 years, most of that with a "membership". I don't normally go to the same therapist repeatedly, because I often schedule at the last minute, and they typically book up well in advance. That said, one of the great things about Rubs is they have a good-sized staff, and can almost always fit me in on the same day I call in. Like any service business, the quality of the therapist will vary somewhat from person to person, but I have never been disappointed at Rubs. Just returned from a 90-minute session with Veronica, she is very skilled, before that I had a 2-hour session with Kassandra and she is phenomenal. Rubs is run very professionally. They have a full-time receptionist, the waiting area is pleasant, and the session rooms are always spotlessly clean. One thing they could improve on is their online booking through their website - they've made some improvements to it, but it is still pretty clumsy to use. I normally just call in, it's a lot quicker. The prices are reasonable, and they have held the line pretty well on not bumping them up. A membership is worthwhile if you go more than about 4x/year, which is pretty easy to do. Plus you get member pricing if you bring in a guest (one-time only per guest). I've done that several times when we've had out-of-town guests. I like that they have two categories and prices for their therapists. The "classic" staff are typically a lot less experienced, but if you are just looking for a relaxing experience you can save a few dollars by going that way. You'll pay a little more for the "signature" therapists, but they will be much more versatile with how much pressure they can bring to bear, specialized work on various areas of the body, different techniques, etc. I have back problems, so more often than not I'll go to one of the classic therapists. Last but not least I like the fact they are local, yet they have a number of locations around town. Kinda like Eegees!! I intend to continue to patronize Rubs for the foreseeable future as a happy customer. read more

Meegan (not a typo) gave me an awesome deep tissue massage. If you're looking for a female masseuse with a strong touch, she's the one. I don't get a massage looking to relax--I go looking for change in how my muscle tissue feels and moves. That's exactly what I got. I left feeling looser and more mobile. She doesn't talk your head off either. Very professional, and you could tell she was focused and has done this a long time. Thanks Meegan! Best massage I've had. read more

This was an amazing experience!! Autumn and Sherry were perfectly paired for our couples massage. They are respecting social distancing, everything is clean, and I feel like a million bucks! I cannot recommend better masseurs than Autumn and Sherry, they lived up to the hype and it is so well deserved. I will definitely be back for a longer massage in the near future! Great price for 50-60 minutes of deep tissue concentrated work. Loved every minute of it! read more

If you suffer from chronic pain and physical therapy/chiropractic treatment just isn't enough, go to Rub's. Even if those treatments ARE enough go to Rubs anyways. I've dealt with scoliosis-related back pain for over a decade and had a botched surgery a few years ago. After moving to Tucson I spent a while warily looking for a reputable place to get massage therapy. Sure, pop-up places are nice for the regular Jack and Jill, but having health issues makes you very wary of your providers. Stumbling upon the lovely people working at Rubs has been a blessing. Massage therapy here has helped me immensely with pain management and enhancing my life quality. I've had several massage therapists here over the past year or so that I've been coming to Rubs and all of them have their own strengths and abilities, so try a few appointments before knocking it. You'll find the one, I promise. My favourite is massage therapist is Autumn. She is lively, funny, sweet, and literally a magician. I walk away with results that last for weeks and longer. I've referred all of my relatives and am working on getting some friends to her, because she is just that good. It's a painful hour, yes. But that's why you get long-term results. Every body part she's worked on (and she can work on anything, even your fingers!) functions so much better than it has in ages. Motions you've forgotten your body can do will be restored. Your walk will be a glide. You can turn your head so far you might even think you've been transformed into an owl. Amazing. Thank you to Autumn and all the other lovelies at Rubs! read more

I'm in town visiting for the holiday. I had some free time and was feeling very sore in my forearms and calves. I specified this to the massage therapist who proceeded to ignore my requests completely. He did focused work specifically around my shoulder blades for 15 mins then spent the remainder of the 80 minute session essentially rubbing lotion into my skin. I was cold the entire time. Not only was the massage horrible he rubbed super fast as if it was a race or he was late for something. Not relaxing at all. They literally mean rubs...just rubs, no massages are given here. Don't waste your time. This 80 minute session with CBD cost me $140. read more

I didn't enjoy my experience. The therapist wasn't very nice and rather standoffish. The massage was disappointing and somewhat awkward. My skin felt itchy after the massage oil or lotion they used. read more

I adore this Rubs Massage location. Their front desk person is so friendly. I find their therapists as a whole pretty darn great. I don't think I've ever had anything less than a stellar experience here. And the prices are great. Before I go here I check the website, as there are generally some pretty good specials going on (like discounted massages with certain therapists or free aromatherapy upgrades). read more

Although I had a little problem when I booked the massages, the Manager resolved the issue afterwards in a phone call to me. She demonstrated true professionalism. I am very comfortable in recommending Rubs to anyone who is looking for a wonderful relaxing experience. read more

I will only go to this Rubs location and the one on Rita Ranch. Kassandra is super awesome and if you want a deep tissue massage she is your gal. The staff is super friendly and they are very considerate of time. Appreciate this for all my massaging needs. They are going to be doing a $4 increase on massages, get the membership, well worth it if you are like me and get a massage every month. I have consistent migraines and back pain and my body knows when it is time for a massage. They adopted Spa Solai, but I feel that place is more pricey than this place. Same ownership though. read more

Good massage therapists in an immaculate environment. Receptionists (Sharon and Melissa) are great at recommending a therapist for your needs (ex. Deep tissue, sports massage, relaxing, etc...) I see Clinton who has helped me manage migraines from neck pain and later a back injury. He listens, is caring, and knowledgable! Best I've found in Tucson. read more

I get a lot of massages. This is the best place in Tucson. Also, even including the standard $20 tip for an hour massage, it is only $75. Make sure you get the signature massage because you get the more experienced therapist and it does make a big difference. You won't regret making this appointment. read more

So my boyfriend bought me a gift card for Christmas 2 years ago. I had been going to the same massage therapist at my chiropractors office for years but due to the hours wasn't able to go often. So I used my card at the Wrightstown location and was very pleased. Everyone was polite and friendly. The facility was clean and nice. There are several locations and extended hours that fit my schedule. Since then We have bought a yearly membership- twice! And now frequent the Oro Valley location most often. We have had a variety of services including couples massages, spa packages, which include an awesome facial and 2 hour massages! They always offer deals and remember you on your birthday. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone! read more

My wife and I went here as a Christmas gift for ourselves today and it was amazing!! Neither of us have had massages before and we were treated very well for our first time. The rate for two people getting a one hour massage was $120, which we found to be totally worth it. The staff were very friendly and didn't pressure us to get memberships or anything, they were just glad we enjoyed it. The atmosphere was super relaxing, and walking out of there we felt like a million bucks. Our therapists were Michael and Samantha and they did a killer job. We will definitely be back since we live so close, and couldn't be happier with our first massage experience! read more

Wow so this was my first time having a professional massage. What a experience and this place was very nice. The rooms, the lobby, and bathrooms are very clean with nice décor. The staff were very nice and helped us determine what was best for us. Including when I called to setup the appointment the staff was very helpful on getting all the information needed for our visit. My husband and I had a couples massage with a great price. Our massage therapist's were great at communicating and making sure we were comfortable. I even received suggestions on stretches for my problem areas for the future. I would suggest this place and we will be going back. read more

I was given a gift card and this was my first massage ever. Very professional, answered my questions respectfully, yet they were warm and friendly. My daughter and I had a mother-daughter get away at a resort in town but decided to give Rubs a try instead of using the high-price resort spa. SO GLAD we did!! EVERYONE was so friendly and professional! We each had the Getaway package...me the Classic and daughter the Signature. Speaking for myself, Marissa gave me a wonderful relaxing massage and Michelle finished me off with a fantastic facial and foot rub! Ahhhh! By the time we appeared back to the lobby, we were SO RELAXED!!! Fabulous experience from two women who are not new to facials nor massages...but new to Rubs. And, to think they have always been right up the street from my home all along. We both will be back!!
