The owners here are sisters and they aim to accommodate healing. The spa has a lovely environment for a quiet relaxing time. The inside has a lovely ambience and there are treatment rooms into areas down long halls. It is a larger facility than I imagined and the owner Sue told me they have just expanded. They have a holistic chiropractor on the spa side and across the parking lot/street they have a chiropractic practice in another office. I bought a gift certificate for my partner so that she could have reflexology. They have a reflexologist come only on Saturdays and she specializes in medical issues. They also offer a facial and micro dermal treatments. I came for a deep tissue massage and received a 90 minute treatment. All I can say is one is never enough! I will have to come back for an entire day to really experience all this place has to offer. read more

I decided to get a massage as a gift to me for my 76th birthday. Arrived at L Spa for my appt with LMT Steve Busby. He had me fill out two forms, one for health history and the second a Covid 19 Liability Waiver. The Waiver stated that L Spa followed all Covid Protocol and was concerned about the health and well being of their clients. When Steve came back into the room I said "seeing you aren't wearing a mask, can I assume you have been vaccinated"? He said No. Then I asked him to wear a mask. He said "I don't even own one." I have been to a few Massage Therapy places in the Tucson area, but This is my Favorite place to get Massage Therapy! Every time I have to there they are always very attentive to my needs. The last 4 times I visited I saw "Shelly" Robles. She listens attentively to me when I tell her about my specific complaints. She has a firm, healing touch and seems to know Just where to work to relieve the pain I have experienced. For instance, I was having problems with my hands hurting and going numb. I figured it might be carpel tunnel, but she said it was in my shoulders and neck. I am Very glad I went to her about it! I do not normally have this issue anymore, unless I do whatever it is I do to pinch those nerves again. If this happens, and it has, then I know where to go for relief! I have gone to this establishment with a friend and I have also taken my son for therapy. Every Time I have gone, I have heard nothing but Good Things from each of the people I have brought with me. The entrance has nice chairs for people who might be waiting for their session to start, or waiting on someone who is in therapy. There are lovely products like essential oils, lotions and soaps for you to purchase if you would like. There are even products made by local craftsmen/women available for purchase if you wish. I love this place! This is one of the few Groupon "successes" I've had, where I've enjoyed the service so much that I've gone back without a Groupon. It appears that the spa is doing well too, since they've expanded their operations into the suite next door, effectively doubling their floorspace. This spa is located in an industrial park, where it seems sort of out of place, but the spa itself is super cute, with a warm, cozy, and vintage feel. I have no qualms referring my friends here - it is professional, relaxing, and clean. I live in Oro Valley, and this spa is the only one I have found that is close-ish to me, without costing an arm and a leg. I've had massages and facials from a few different therapists, and they have all been fantastic. Pamela is awesome! I have been seeing her for over 3 years now after not really caring for a number of gadabout and other massage therapists. I have gotten regular 50 minute massages, 90 minutes, and pre-natal. I got a Groupon for a 90 minute massage. When I walked in the therapist was sitting behind the computer as I checked in. I can only assume that she was looking at the day's schedule as she checked me in. The massage was going well until we hit 60 minutes when she informed me that she'd made a mistake and booked another massage with someone else and she kicked me out of the massage room to be ready for the next person. She told me that I could come back later for the other 30 minutes of massage. Who does that? The beauty of the 90 minute massage is the length of continuous relaxation. 30 minutes would have me on the table and off again with more time spent dressing and undressing. I never went back and recommend others don't go either. She should have seen the conflict when I checked in and informed me or rescheduled. But to just kick me out 2/3 of the way through the massage with an oops and a shrug was a terrible way too treat a paying customer. I ended up paying full price for a 60 minute massage. I still tipped 15% because I was trying not to be a jerk but I'll never go back. She should have at least offered me a 60 minute massage at no extra cost. Part of me wondered if this was a scam: get people in the door using Groupon and a promised 90 minute massage at the price of a 60 minute massage, then say oops and give a shrug at 60 minutes and offer the other 30 minutes at a later date knowing most won't want to do it. Then you've received a 60 minute fee for 60 minute massage and you don't have to really honor the 90 minute promise. read more

I had some issues with the bolsters and cushions to get into a comfortable position being that I'm 18weeks pregnant, but Ari was very knowledgeable about prenatal positions and techniques and the whole thing was incredibly relaxing. Only issue is the spa is VERY hard to find. It's tucked away in a random business mall, but don't let that fool you!
