It's amazing to have a health care professional who really listens to you and works with you to resolve the root of your problem(s). I highly recommend Clare to anyone who has any kind of health issue that more traditional medicine has been unable to help you with.

They waited more than a year to respond to my review, and at this point, they can't figure out who I am, so they are essentially accusing me of deceit. Jennifer Parks is so dense that she can't comprehend how normal and unremarkable it might be for a woman to be known by more than one name, and to use one of her names for her banking and another of her names for social media. It's a completely legitimate thing that women do all the time. What, does Jennifer Parks want women to bring their birth certificates and their wedding certificates and other documentation to prove who they are before she will accept a yelp review of her business as valid, like Republicans want women to do before they can vote? After all, one of your practitioners goes by both Lily and Susan. Does that mean she's not an actual staff member of Jade Star Acupuncture? Why and how would I make up the sorts of details provided in my 2024 review? Was it or was it not standard practice in the first half of 2024 for your practitioners to step out of the room at the beginning of session, to give the patient a few moments of privacy to disrobe as necessary and get settled on the table? Have you asked all the practitioners who worked for you in the first half of 2024 if they ever demanded that a client put her hair in a ponytail before she would provide a treatment? Think about what this says about Jade Star Acupuncture, about their recording keeping, about their attention to client feedback, and about their ethics. Jennifer Parks, shame on you for trying to weasel out of my thoroughly honest and legitimate review of your crappy business. Unless you're willing to return a significant portion of the $812 total I paid you for my initial session and 11 sessions thereafter, I have no interest in contacting you.

I'm not a huge fan of massage, but Becca's medical message is like nothing I've experienced before. It was incredibly beneficial and saw her several times. When I was in the thick of it, I would see Stephanie for the acupuncture first followed by Becca. Best thing I ever did for myself. My husband has degenerative disc disease and Stephanie has allowed him to function with very little pain like nothing has helped him in the past. Last year he was in the mountains.'it was cold and wet. His back seized up and Stephanie was able to see him right away when he got back to Tucson. The space feels like a blend of a healing sanctuary, yoga studio, and spa-like wellness retreat designed for relaxation, restoration, and whole-body healing. I originally came to Life Root Acupuncture because my health provider told me manage my stress to deal with serious health concerns and support with quitting smoking, but the benefits have gone far beyond that. Over time, I've experienced reduced anxiety, improved balance, more stable blood sugar levels, and a greater overall sense of well-being. One of the most significant improvements has been with perimenopause symptoms. Before treatment, I struggled with hot flashes, mood swings, and the emotional ups and downs that come with this stage of life. Today, my hot flashes have virtually disappeared, my mood feels more balanced, and I feel much more like myself again. Kym is exceptional. She is wise, compassionate, and deeply invested in her patients. She has a way of making you feel heard, understood, and supported. From our first appointment, she felt more like an old friend than a healthcare provider. She truly partners with you in your healing journey and helps you tap into your body's natural ability to heal. Another unique aspect of Life Root Acupuncture is the opportunity to deepen the experience through sound bath sessions with Carmen. These sessions beautifully complement the acupuncture treatment and often help me release stress on an even deeper level. The combination of acupuncture and sound healing has been one of the most effective tools I've found for managing stress, anxiety, and overall wellness. I leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and at peace. I've seen other acupuncturists over the years, but none have created such a complete healing experience. Every detail, from the welcoming environment to the treatment itself, feels intentional and supportive. As an added bonus, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my insurance covers acupuncture. Scheduling is also incredibly convenient. I've often been able to get an appointment within the same week, and the Saturday availability works perfectly with my schedule. Life Root Acupuncture has become my sanctuary and safe oasis. If you're looking for acupuncture in Tucson for anxiety, stress relief, smoking cessation, women's health, perimenopause support, or overall wellness, I highly recommend Kym and her team. What started as a search for relief from a few specific health concerns has become one of the most transformative investments I've made in my overall health and well-being.

This may be TMI but it is literally the first time in 15 years that I have had 2 consecutive natural "normal" periods (I have had to take progesterone in the past to induce it). I hope this continues and I will have another one next month. I also have not had any migranes since seeing her. ************************ I've been searching for the right acupuncturist for me for several months. I went to multiple well-advertised places in the Tucson area and was never fully satisfied... However after going to Nobi one time, I decided that I will only go see her from now on. She is the one for me! What I've found with the other acupuncturists in Tucson is that their treatments are really westernized, simplified and super mild. They generally only use a 3-5 needles per session and only work on one side of the body. You basically just lay there for 40 minutes and then you go home. Growing up in Japan and living in Hawaii for most of my adult life, this was not what I was used to, and always left dissatisfied. However, not sure if it's because she is Japanese, but Nobi works on both the back and front of the body with A LOT of needles and finishes each side with a light shiatsu massage after removal of the needles. She inserts the needles to a point where you feel the "electric shock" as I like to call it, where it is slightly uncomfortable but then transitions you into a deep relaxing state once your body starts reacting to the needles. Here is basically why I like her best: - No weak sauce acupuncture. You feel it going in, and then you enter a deep relaxation state. - No beads! I was so shocked when I got beads instead of needles at another acupuncturist. You can buy beads online without a license. Again, many places around town are too westernized. Not Nobi! - like I said, she works on both the back and front. 20 minutes on the back, 20 minutes on the front. I love the short but good massage. - relaxed and improved pulse. I noticed an improvement in my pulse right after the treatment. I also caught myself snoring during both front and back sessions. I haven't achieved this level of relaxation anywhere else. - I grew up in Japan and her style was similar to what I am used to. She also has a huge collection of Chinese herbs. Don't have experience with that yet but its pretty hard core. She doesn't have all the herbal teas and friendly receptionists that other places have, but if you're looking for a more authentic acupuncture treatment I highly recommend coming here. If you're into the more westernized milder treatments then check out the other places.
