I enjoyed my experience getting my nails done here. I came as a walk-in and was seated right away. The nail tech was kind and did a great job. For a regular manicure it's $20. To add french tip was an additional $7. I love my nails final look! Although I had a pleasant experience the person I came with did not. The nail tech that she had left her nails coarse after filing them and applied too much acetone then painted over it with polish which caused the paint to have dry patches all over the nails. However, when I brought the issues to the attention of the other techs they helped remedy the issues quickly and kindly. I had an appointment and on the phone I told them what I wanted and they said sure..... showed up for my appointment on time only to wait 20 minutes to finally be seated and then when I showed them the picture of the ombré design they said that a different nail tech would know how to do an Ombré design and he would be ready for me in "5 minutes " and sure enough that wasn't true and after waiting for almost an additional 15 minutes, I had enough and told them I'm leaving...... it's unbelievable how unprofessional and how rude and uncaring this place is. Genuinely had the most disrespectful experience ever going to a salon. Two of us walked in and were asked if we had appointments, we did not and we were sat and began service. There was no statement of "we have other appointments" or any notification otherwise. I was sat for my pedicure and my friend was sat for his manicure. Two people with prior appointments come in and the manager gets my friend who is mid his manicure to standup from his chair to sit in one of the pedicure chairs. 10 minutes later, the manager comes to him with nothing but unbuffed, Dremeled nails telling him to come back later that day. I ended my pedicure prematurely due to being pissed at the way my friend was treated. I was charged full price and we were both given $5 off coupons as some kind of sorry. I was as respectful as possible given the situation but this is simply unacceptable. It is on the business to manage their appointments and it is unacceptable to kick a client out of their chair mid service just because the salon mismanaged their appointments for the day. read more

I was in the area and thought I'd try this salon to get my nails trimmed. Tammy greeted me very politely. I waited a short time while she finished up with a customer which wasn't long. She trimmed and buffed my nails to the length I asked for while taking her time. Also, they have a refrigerator full of otter pops for the customers and their children on these hot Arizona days. I was in town for a course and stopped by for the convenient location and parking. The woman who welcomed me at the front desk was so polite and helpful, but unfortunately she was the only positive about my experience. My technician Nancy was incredibly rude from the start. To be fair, I was veeeery hard on my nails for the week, but knowing this I asked specifically for an extra coat of color to prevent damage. After she completed the third layer on my right hand and started the top coat, I gently asked for a third coat on my other hand. She immediately raised her voice at me saying "there's already three! What do you mean!" shaking her head at me. I didn't want any problems so I just hushed up and took it. It's pretty clear to me (and I think in the photos) that the coverage and number of coats are different. This gel manicure didn't even last a week, and my nails split so bad that they're still peeling even with another gel manicure. Sadly not at all worth it. read more

I love the people and atmosphere here. It a great place for a girls day or a mommy and daughter date. They have the cutest a kids princess aurora pedicure chair and they are very patient with children. Great place for a pedicure! Walked in here while they were fully booked and they were able to squeeze us in after a nice 20 min foot soak. The lady who worked on my feet was sweet and when she didn't think she could do the design I wanted for my toes she got an assist from another person working there. Together they made my pedicure dreams come true! I love that they use a new package of sterilized tools for each customer so you don't have to worry about what person sat in your chair before you and what the condition of their feet was. They have a nice selection of colors, including several different metallic options as well as sparkles. They have lots of pedicure chairs so you don't feel rushed out of there because they need your chair for another customer. Great work, Nail Trix! Although $27 is a bit steep for a regular old non-paraffin was pedicure they do a solid job so I would return in the future! read more

I had a great experience here. New to Tucson and just stopped in a whim after the first place I tried quite rudely said they didn't have time (that's fine, I was a walk in but didn't need the 'tude). They got me right in. A young guy going to college here did my pedicure and he was so gentle and asked a lot of questions. Had an appointment set up to get a fill for color acrylic. Arrived 15 minutes early and no one even sat me with a nail technician until 28 minutes after my appointment time. I had to tell the guy 3 times that I was there for a fill, and he still tried to take everything off. Then he finally gets the old color ground down and starts dipping my nails... I told him I wanted color acrylic, not dip, like I told them when I set up my appointment. They said they do not do color acrylic there, only dip. Then the guy took 1.5 hours to do the job. My nail tips are crooked, even after asking for them to be straightened. The dip is very uneven close to my nail-bed. The place was clean. The employees were nice. Other customers were saying they do the best pedicures, but don't go here for acrylic powder. read more

The last time I went, I wanted jewels on a couple of my nails and I felt like I was being rushed out of the shop because my nails were taking longer than normal. The work was rushed and sloppy. I ended up leaving and going to another salon to have it fixed.
