Oro Valley nails is now my favorite nail salon in Oro Valley and I've been to a few. Tina is amazing and really understands my fingernails which are small, thin and hard to work with. She was also recently able to help me replace a toe nail I had lost when my toe was crushed under a gate. Apparently it takes 6 months to 1.5 years for a toenail to grow back and the process isn't pretty. With a vacation coming up I couldn't wait that long. Great experience today! Walked in around 10am and was seated right away. 7 months pregnant and I feel she was extra sensitive about that and gave me a nice long massage. Application is flawless and price was cheaper than I was expecting. Right after my pedicure she scrubbed her tools in the sink, which was nice to see. Will be back! read more

Worst nail salon experience ever. I only wanted a pedicure and the man that did my nails was super rude and out of line. He didn't do a proper paint job and was very rushed. He also wanted to charge me and mom extra $ for no reason. The tools used were dirty and he doesn't know how to properly clean the nails. Very disappointing. They talk behind your back and don't take customer feedback respectfully, which is overall an unpleasant experience. My nail polish is already chipping because he didn't wait for the coat to dry before applying (very rushed job) and on top of that when I tell him to please fix the obvious errors he gets angry and talks back rude to me. The people there are clearly racist. I highly dont recommend this place if you want a nice relaxing experience and a nice nail job because you're going to get the opposite of that. They overcharge you and do the worst service. Do yourself a huge favor and go to a different nail salon! read more

Scrupulously clean, always prompt, friendly and professional, these ladies know their stuff and do a wonderful job - my nails have never looked better. Our primary residence is in Michigan, but I arrange my nail appointments to get maximum work done at Oro Nails. The place is very clean and easy the access. I got a pedicure but only needed my toenails filed not clipped. She did just that ONLY. Did not clean under the nail by digging out the skin that collects. Did not look at my nails to see if any in growns could be clipped. The lotion rub was OK no real massage as I have received at other places. I will go back but ask for someone else. read more

Do not go to this place. I just received a terrible pedicure. She did not scrub my feet so I left with them still dry and the paint job left my nails looking ridgy. When I went to pay, I handed her a $17.00 gift certificate and she said I owed her $5. I handed her my debit card and she said she couldn't run the card for $5 and that tip could not be left on the card. I had $8 in cash so I said well this will have to be for your $5 and tip. She then said that it was okay and she would run the card for $5. She also kept the cash. I will never return to this cheap, poorly run nail shop and neither should you. read more

I visited Oro Nails as it is the closest nail salon to my home. The pedicure seats are worn and ragged. I had an overall impression that the salon is not very clean or well maintained. After I received a pedicure, at home I noticed it was very sloppily done and needed a third coat of polish. When I asked for a gel manicure , I was handed a box of sample nails, many of which were broken off and just not a good selection of colors to choose from. There are so many nail salons in Oro Valley to choose from and I feel that this one needs to refresh/replace the furniture and just do a thorough clean-up from floor to ceiling. read more

Bring your own polish if you're ok with a cheap, mediocre manicure. I watched the tech pour acetone in the polish. Thins it out to make the bottle last longer, but screws up the longevity of your polish. The tech "filed" my nails in the sense that she ran a file over them. I asked for them filed down and round. They are still uneven and one is square. She cut me trimming my cuticles and used her tools on someone else and I didn't see her clean them. Luckily, I don't current have any blood borne diseases. I sat at the UV light for twenty minutes and my nails stilled are messed up, likely due to the acetone. $12 not well spent. read more

I wanted to give this place a good rating, but I went in today to get my little girls nails painted for her very first time, and we walk in and were not even greeted. The lady just looks at me so I let her know I wanted to get my little girls nails painted and she looked as if she was annoyed, rambled something to the other worker, and said nothing to me so I sat down to wait. Then I took my little girl to pick out a color and sat back down and they eyed me the entire time as if I was going to steal their prized polish. I had to get up and put the polish back and leave, they were too rude I cannot deal. All I wanted was for my little girl to have a great first experience...i wouldn't recommend. read more

I had a great experience at this nail salon. I was able to walk in and be seated right away. I got a gel French manicure . Vivian did a great job . While she was working on my nails, she would ask if I liked what she was doing. The gel French looks amazing and has lasted me over 2 weeks. I love their new colorful chairs. They support my back and kept me from bumping my knees into the manicurist. Nice quiet atmosphere and low lights for a nice relaxing day at the spa. read more

Very nice job. Yes, I went on a Tuesday morning when they weren't busy so perhaps on a Saturday I wouldn't have gotten undivided attention - but that's what I got. Received a mani and pedi. Very nicely done. All the little things- water not too hot and he asked to make sure. Gave a nice long lotion massage - not too hard. Double checked how I wanted my nails shaped and polished. Oro Nails is one of the best and finest nail salons you can find in Tucson. I had such a great time doing my nails with Tina. Their selection of nail polishes is amazing as well. I just had a rather unpleasant experience here today. I got a full set of acrylics, and not only did the girl not follow my directions about the nail shape I wanted, i had to ask her 3 times to scrape the giant gobs of dried acrylic out from under my nails. She still didn't do it and I had to do it when I got home. My fingers HURT! I've had many sets applied in the past (not here) and have never had them hurt before. The girl's attention to detail is blatantly poor. Nails mis shapen, unevenly contoured over the top. The only plus is they aren't super thick. To top it off, they spoke their foreign language to each other the entire time and could barely speak English. read more

I hate to write this but I had the most horrible experience here. The techs spoke Vietnamese to each other and they were talking about myself and my friend. What they didn't realize was that I am Vietnamese. Finally I had enough of their bantering and gossiping. I told them that was I was Vietnamese and that I understood what they were talking about. I told them to be nice. I felt rushed and but they did do a decent job. Just bad business practices talking about their clientele in their native language. They give Vietnamese nail shops a bad name and they need to work on speaking English only and not gossiping about their clientele. I had enough when they made fun of my height and short stubby legs. You should have seen their faces when I told them I was Vietnamese. I guess they thought I was Filipino. This place was so unprofessional and I would never go back and I would not recommend you go there. They talk a lot of sh$$ about you. You just can't understand it. read more
