I started going to this place to get my lashes done by Andie, who has been amazing ever since I met her 3 years ago at another location. I would also like to comment that girls working at the front desk are remarkably nice and helped me tremendously with some situation I encountered. Got to love a business where the employees truly care about their customers!! read more

Getting massaged by Hunter is like a slice of Heaven. Not only does he intend to fix the problem, he is strong and gentle with a continuous relaxing flow. He uses his thumbs in a gentle pressing method along the problem areas to find a knot and work it out, his hands are warm and smooth, he checks in with you, and he uses hot towels on the feet! i am going to sleep so well tonight! Thank You, Hunter! read more

Love the team here! Always helpful and friendly! I've been a model for custom spray tan and had excellent results! Thank you! read more

Kist By Mist Tanning - Cool! - Tanning Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Absolutely amazing customer service! Claribelle went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable during my (first ever) spray tan! She is so sweet and knowledgeable, I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I have had six months of a limited UV tanning at this location. The shop itself it's very cute and clean. However, they do not follow their posted hours. Three days in a row this week alone they have had the open sign on but have been locked. I understand locking the door 10 minutes before closing but locking the store at 6:20 is ridiculous. I have called the store and no one answers the phone. The first time this happened I was frustrated, but now that it has happened several times I will not be renewing my membership. The owner is very helpful and the typical staff is normally great, but the younger female employee seems to not understand the posted hours or just doesn't want to work her full shift. read more

Switched from my old spray tanning place to here. Izzie and Diane are AWESOME. They always leave me looking the way I want and pay super close attention to detail. My tans are way darker and last way longer. read more

I love this place! I came in to get a spray tan for my wedding and Izzie was absolutely wonderful. She talked me through the whole experience, made me feel very comfortable, and was extremely kind. 10/10 recommend and I will be back! Thank you Izzie!! read more

My mom came in to get a handheld spray tan a while back and she looked absolutely amazing. Izzy sprayed her and she felt super comfortable with the whole thing. The spray was just the color she wanted and super even all around. So glad we chose Kist by Mist!! read more

Took great care of me and made me feel very comfortable. It was my first professional spray tan and when I explained that to the associate she assured me that she'd take great care of me and she did! I will be returning for sure, this is a great spot! read more

Feeling a little Corpse Bride-like I decided to try a spray tan for the very first time. Having never done this before I was quickly made to feel at ease by the girl running the shop on Saturday morning. (Ugh, I hate when I forget a name!) She explained the process and recommended a shade. I was told that with my coloring and features I could use a darker shade but I was a little worried about showing up at work on Monday looking like Tan Mom Patricia Krentcil or Ross from Friends. I opted for a medium shade with a bronzer so I could see some immediate results. The entire process using the VersaSpa (automated spray booth) took only moments and was incredibly simple. For newbies like me it's helpful to have the instruction video looping on a screen in the private room. I was very impressed to get a phone call the next day to inquire on my satisfaction with the experience. I'm still a sunshine loving girl but it's nice knowing I can be outdoors in a sundress or shorts right now without someone humming the Ghostbusters theme song as I pass by. read more

I'm not actually a customer, but my car broke down outside on a freezing day yesterday and one of the employees here was amazingly kind. She came out and offered a place to rest out of the cold with a cup of coffee. I declined, because I was fine, but what a nice person, she was the only person who offered help instead of gawking at me with my hood up and my head in the engine. I would definitely come here if I needed a tan. read more

This place was a bit different. It wasn't like it was bad nor good and their pricing is reasonable. I just am not sure if I had the best or just ok experience. I always get my brows dyed and they did a good job, just overall the place and experience was just a bit different. Overall, prices for services were good. read more

Probably the worst spray tan i have ever had. Got it done Monday and my feet were black in the soles my palms were brown and my fingertips were all white. The spray tan was splotchy by Tuesday and Wednesday it looked awful. My daughters wedding is Saturday and now i have no time to fix it except to try to scrub it off. read more

This is the first and only place I will go tanning in Tucson. It's such a cute place and the girls there are awesome, especially Jordan!!!

This salon is the best in town. I would be a regular if I didn't live way up in the NE foothills! But when I need a quick tan I come here. They have the VersaSpa which, in my opinion, is the best sunless tan short of having an actual custom spray tan. Customer Service is top notch- the owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. I dont ever feel like i'm being Sold Something or pressured into buying anything else than what I have asked for. I had to bring my daughter in with me, and they were totally cool with it. (I dont normally bring her tanning with me, but it was a last minute decision as I was leaving town the next day and needed some COLOR!) I love the Decor- the tanning rooms are cute and stylish. I love their standup beds. Very Clean, I can't say enough good things about Kist by Mist. Just wish they would open up a second location in the NE Foothills! read more

It's not surprise that I'm also writing a five star review for this spot. First off- they take walk ins! Which worked out great for me since I opted for a last minute spray tan. From the moment you walk in you'll receive a warm welcome. The owner, Chuck just so happened to be there too, and he's super friendly and 100% about customer service and knows his products through and through. As noted in other reviews, there are three options for sunless Tanning- they have the Versa Spa which includes a hydration, a Ph balancer for the skin and a bronzer. The other option is the Mystic Tanning which sprays on clear without the bronzer but develops the same quality tan and lastly, you can opt for an airbrush tan that is definitely pricier but supposedly pretty flawless. Pricing here is competitive and fair compared with other Salons in town that use the Mystic tanning system. I'd definitely return for another sunless tan. Excellent customer Service and locally owned! read more

I had Lynette and she was beyond amazing in the practical, and personality department! She truly cares about your skin, and will advice you in a manner which is applicable to you and your needs. She truly comes from a good place. She could tell me what was going on with my skin just by touching it, and I could verify it for sure being an aesthetician myself. Being a dude who does not get waxed often I am not a huge fan of being waxed, and she did an amazing job especially since I am very peculiar about things. They also have another aesthetician who seems nice, but I did not talk to her. The male owner who I booked with is quite good at the front desk compared to most customer service people. I could foresee him being a radio host, and he was very helpful. The only thing that they could improve upon thus far is to acquire a second aesthetician room. Its a nice place. read more

Feeling very disappointment! came to have a spray tan for my best friend's wedding, while getting dress the same day for the ceremony i realized the spray tan did not tan my lower part of my legs and the inside of my arms. I wore a short bridesmaid dress, my legs looked terrible!! I normally go to Planet beach and it's always perfect. I'm writing this review because i think is important to maintain your equipment. best regards, concerned read more

The people who work here are really personable and knowledgeable. I didn't feel that they tried to sell me add-ons and upgrades that I didn't need (which is a welcome change). Really professional establishment. Completely clean and well designed. They have two types of sunless tanning--Versa and MyMist (previously MysticTan). The MyMist is a really good price. read more

I used to tan here a couple years ago and always had a great experience every timeI went. More recently, I went in for a brazilian and eyebrow wax. I have to say, that I was so glad to be back there becuase this salon is the epitome of friendliness, customer service, and cleanliness. I booked my appointment last minute and they were still able to get me in. Bonnie is the girl who did my wax and she was oh so polite, and very friendly despite a quite painful procedure. She really did everything she could to make me feel at ease and comfortable. I will hands down recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a professional, clean, and enjoyable waxing experiene. also, Fridays are 20% off waxing services! read more

I was traveling through Tucson over the July 4th holiday and stopped by Kist By Mist Tanning for an eyebrow wax. I had never had my brows done before but Michelle made me feel comfortable and did a great job. She was thoughtful and tolerated by squirming like a pro!!! The service was great, the facility was clean and inviting and the owners were awesome. I will certainly be back on my next trip! read more

Great experience everything!! Definitely will be a return customer for special events!

This place has the Versa Spa which is an awesome self tanning machine. No streaking, beautiful golden tan and doesn't leave a strong smell on your skin afterwards. I've been to others around town but this is the best. The owner has everything from unused individually wrapped hair ties, hair nets, barrier cream, footies, and a great instructional video playing for newbies. Such a clean and hip place, she even has treats and complimentary Keurig coffee to enjoy. On Saturdays they even have a discounted spray tan. Thanks for offering quality service. read more

Over a year ago I visited the salon and was not satisfied with the customer service that was provided. In the mystic booth the cartridges were clearly expired as they had already oxidized. The "owner" was behind the counter and did not attempt to make eye contact with myself and two other patrons. There were only two people behind the counter so this made it a little awkward. During that time I was notified there was a change in ownership. From there on out the service has been impeccable. The products they are now providing are quality and I don't have to worry about turning green when I get out the sunless booths. I will definitely be a customer when I am in Tucson. read more

Great prices! Love the VersaSpa and atmosphere of the salon. Employees are super friendly and helpful

Same day appointment or last minute decision to get a celebrity sunless tanning can be impossible, but not with Kist by Mist. Flor, the wife of the owner was able to squeezed me in. I have to admit at first I was skeptical that this place has perfect 5 stars rating and most reviewed establishement compare to the other tanning salon. Now I know why and as a customer, I am happy and satisfied with the service. Although, my palms may look orangey I think I have a nice consistent medium tan. The place is equipped with disposal: thongs, hair bands, robes and lotions to maintain an all year round summer tan. The staffs are friendly and professional. Discounts are offer to UoA wildcats and military personnel. Updates will follow on how my tan looks through out the week read more

Kist By Mist Tanning - My orangey palm not that I am complaining just saying...what is a perfect tan without an orangey palms - Tanning Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Very nice first time in last Thursday. Signed up for a few visits. The beautiful and informative girl at the counter was awesome. Explaining everything to me. Have me a quick tour. Very nice and clean establishment. My 10 minute tan came back nice. No burn. Light tan. I'll be coming as often as I can as long as I'm living out of town. As soon as I get back to Tucson we will be coming on better schedule. I'm quite please with my visit to Kist by Mist. I'm Also interested in other services. So I hope to be around for awhile. keep up the good work. read more

Had a great facial & brow tint by Dr. Smooth! Nice touch & a thorough, first rate job. Check it out!

Absolutely love it here! I had previously stopped coming for my regular wax because convenience. Since covid, I was going crazy and finally called, they were closed, but I received a call the next day from Flo and was able to get quickly scheduled. I love it here! The environment is so inviting and everyone is very friendly! Check it out for tanning, waxing and eyelashes coming soon read more

The ladies at the front desk were really polite and helpful. I did the basic spray tan at a medium level. I've only had a spray tan once and it was with someone using an airbrush. I was delighted to find out that it was done in a machine, where I had some privacy! You get your own little room where you can undress and apply lotion, etc. The price was very reasonable and I was very pleased with the results! Will be returning when I'm back in town. read more

This is an excellent salon for tanning! I needed a last minute tan...and not just a tan, a freakish dark tan for a bodybuilding event. They were able to get me to the color I needed fast. It also lasted fairly long and didn't fade really nasty. They have excellent customer service and offer a military discount. I am always up for visiting people who help out our peeps in uniform...aka ME. read more

I love this place! This is the only tanning salon I've ever been to. After my first experience there 2 years ago, I'd decided I wasn't going anywhere else! I was inexperienced, very pale and do not tan naturally, so I was recommended to use the Mystic Tan system, and the person who had helped me was very patient! There is an instructional video that plays in the locked, single room while you prepare, and they provide all of the supplies needed (blending cream for hands/feet, hair ties, caps, towels, and even shaped stickers to wear if you wanna do something fun with your tan). Once you step inside, the audio will guide you through the process, and although it's cold, it's very fast. After you're done, you air dry/towel off, get dressed, and I've always been asked "how it went", and if I had any questions. I've never been pressured into buying any additional products, or any pre-purchased packages, and they give a great discount for students . The only downside is the lack of parking. It's in a strip with a Starbucks, La Salsa, and several smaller businesses, so it usually hard to find a spot. There is parking in the back, however, so be patient! I had never seen myself "tan" before, so it was great to see! However, I don't go as often as I'd like, and usually just go for special occasions now. But I always feel great when I leave. Definitely recommended! read more

CHELSEA is great!!! She gave an awesome spray tan and was very professional and sweet

This is the best tanning experience I've had in a while. I like the spray tan because it's quick & easy, ready to go. I did the Mystic Sunless tan with the Bronze Booster that enhances the tan. The color develops in a few hours and looked awesome. Thanks!! read more

This place is great!! I was a little intimidated by the retro decor, but Kelsey was fantastic and put me right at ease! This is the first time I've had a spray tan by an actual person and I was afraid it would be extremely awkward standing there naked, but it was actually no big deal. Kelsey walked me through the process and then let me decide what ad-ons I thought I needed (I only choose the primer and she said she thought that would be the best choice for me since I am relatively new to the whole tanning thing). It was an awesome experience and one I've already recommended to several of my friends. read more
