I LOVE THIS PLACE! Erica does a phenomenal job, super fast, super clean place and always on time! The shop is clean, organized and very efficient for what they do! It's my wax place in Tucson! The ONLY reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I think the price should be discounted for pre-booking writhing a timeframe! I've been to quite a few other wax parlors and they typically have charged $50-$60 the first time, (Brazilian) then a lower maintenance price ($35-$40) for getting back in within 4-5 weeks, which keeps people loyal and coming back! I have had a wonderful experience with Kelly for both spray tan and waxing. I am getting married and am so happy I trusted Kelly with these services for my wedding. She really does a fantastic job at making it look really natural. She really spends a lot of time with you and is patient and is very dedicated to her craft. I've noticed some posts talking about lines in the spray tan but it's important to note that the spray gun is like a gentle mist so any linear/droplet irregularities are usually due to getting the tan wet before it needs to be. So as long as you don't get it wet before it's ready to wash off (sweating droplets, dripping water on leg/foot after washing hands, sprinklers, etc. really any of the stuff you kind of forget about that get you wet!) then it will come out beautifully. I made an appointment In person and was quoted $35 for a custom spray tan. Three weeks later when I came in for my appointment without telling me they charged my card only to realize that they increased their prices almost $20 from initial quote. When I confronted the desk girl she just smiled and said yeah we increased our prices after admitting that she in fact quoted me nearly $20 less. In addition to that after waiting 9 hours to shower... my tan is embarrassingly bad. My hands, feet, face and chest and neck line are almost a whole shade darker than my legs and stomach. Time for an update since I'm still LOVING Sweetcheeks 3 years later! Amanda does my brows and is STILL doing a perfect job, pays such attention to detail, she is kind and patient with my crazy bushy brows. I highly recommend Amanda. I always feel at ease at Sweetcheeks. Really I'd trust all the staff, before I started going to Amanda regularly I'd had waxes with 3 different people, they are all just really good at what they do. The owner seems to hire quality people. I've always walked in to a smiling face greeting me. They're small enough that you still get that personal small business feeling, they get to know you. The texting booking option is perfect for me, they always try to get me in one way or another, which I really appreciate with my busy work schedule. I accidentally no-showed once, and they were so gracious with me totally screwing up! Obviously I try not to no show at all costs, but it's nice to know they are still kind, respectful, and professional when something goes wrong. They offer other top of the line services like Yumi lashes (which I'm definitely feeling tempted to try out), spray tans, and microblading. If my pocket book ever gets bigger, I'll be getting more services done with them. Or I may just have to splurge soon! They stay up on all the trends and use quality products. Everything has always been clean and spotless. They're moving into a bigger space soon, just a door down from their perfect central location. Absolutely loved this place! What a friendly and comforting environment with some really sweet ladies! Kesha did my services and was very sweet and very talented! This place got me in the same day which was awesome too. I just threw them a text and got my services a few hours later. Sweet cheeks is on the other side of town for me but I am willing to make the drive. They use a hard wax here so the pain is significantly less. This will contribute to the price, however. I have sensitive skin so this particular wax is favorable for me. With waxing, they use tea tree oil to soothe the skin which is great for my sensitive skin! Can't wait for my next appointment. Apparently she is no longer with sweet cheeks and when I questioned why I was given no explanation, I had to go out of my way to find out why she left and I was not impressed by the answer I found out. I have seen multiple employees come and go within the couple of years. Each time someone leaves they have offered me discounted service, but it's not about the money. I've gotten tired of getting switched from esthetician to esthetician. Not the consistency I am looking for when receiving such a private, personal service.
