I used to come here regularly prior to 2020, then moved out of state. Moved back to Tucson this year and stopped by on 1/1 because my usual nail salon was closed and I had previously had good results here. I am thankful the salon was open, but completely disappointed in my nails. I get dip and Emily did them this time, putting only 2 layers of dip on each nail. While that keeps them thin, it also means they start breaking quickly (most other salons do at least 3 layers). Within 2 days, I already had 4 nails that had chipped. Within 1 week, 7 nails had chips. My dip nails typically last 3 weeks before I need to get them redone. Unfortunately, after 1 week I had to go elsewhere to have these taken off and corrected. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at this salon and will not be returning. I made an appointment over a month in advance for a dip manicure and gel pedicure, specifically requesting Jade, who had done a great job on my gel nails in the past. I was not informed ahead of time that Jade doesn't do dip nails. When I arrived on time for my appointment, I was told to wait "10 minutes" -- but wasn't seated for another 25 minutes because the staff wasn't there yet. Jade ended up doing my gel pedicure. While she is very careful and kind, the pedicure itself was painful. One toe was bleeding after being cut, and another became badly infected -- it's been over a week and it still hurts. I left feeling concerned about whether their tools are properly sterilized. At the same time, another technician did my dip manicure. This was by far the worst dip manicure I've ever received. The cuticles were barely touched, the nail shape was uneven, and the dip was applied sloppily and inconsistently. To make things worse, the technician seemed distracted and rushed through the whole process. Dip powder is supposed to last weeks, but mine began chipping after just one week. I'm now out over $100 for nails that look messy and are causing me pain. I honestly could've done a better job myself. I would strongly advise others to think twice before coming here. read more

I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my pedicure, but she was wonderful and did a great job. Absolutely horrible service. 3 different people did my toenails. The SNS Dip nails are absolutely atrocious. First of all the lady didn't even do the dip right. She literally only did the red color dip nothing else. It actually is the worst nail service I have ever received. I have natural nails. Tell me why on one hand my pointer finger looks like my nail is 5x the side of the exact one on the other finger. Awful. They also obviously talk about you and look at you. I would never go there. This place was ok for the last few times I went, but the manager (Debbie?) is extremely pushy trying to upsell services that I didn't ask for, including lash tinting, massages, facials and even trying to sell me services under the table outside of the salon. But when it came to my nails she always did a rush job and last time it was sloppy. They always ask what color without providing the color palette for gel. Like huh? There was a young guy who gave it to me and stood over me as I was trying to decide making me extremely uncomfortable. She even expected a $10 tip! They're extremely inconsistent. I'll definitely be going elsewhere as this was the last straw. Also, they need to work on their nail art skills; every time I brought a picture in they balked at it. I've been here a few times now for manicures and eyebrow waxing. I think they do a great job and are very meticulous and caring, especially when you tell them any concerns. I think they prep the nails very very well to make sure the products adhere and last as long as possible. The eyebrow waxing was gentle and detailed, and she made sure to contour them to my face shape better than any wax I've had. The salon is very large and spacious, which I like. I don't enjoy feeling crowded at a salon experience. It's brightly lit and it's a peaceful setting. It's relatively clean, I think there could be a little more attention to detail with really making surfaces look a little more spic and span, but I've been to far, far worse salons that I refuse to go back to. (I won't even ding a star for this, but I will mention it.) Everyone is really nice and friendly to me. They seem happy to see me every time and after only my second visit they remembered me. We joke around and have a good hour+ together. I am quite introverted, but I look forward to my hour+ here every few weeks. Great nails, nice experience, good location. I need to give an honest review after visiting this nail salon for several months and receiving decent service. There is one woman who works at this salon who has the worst attitude. It truly is sad. I utilized her services for several months and put up with her extreme outbursts however today was the final straw. There were many times she would text me prior to my appointment time saying "don't be late", only to be running twenty minutes behind when I would arrive. Today I left in tears. After having a literal outburst when I requested a design, she got out of her chair raging. It was quite upsetting. Another woman finished my nails and apologized for the former techs outburst. I began getting a pedicure with another tech when the original tech {the tech throwing a fit}, had a new client come in. She began whispering and laughing while they both turned back towards me like bullying school children. Quite honestly she should be embarrassed for her behavior. Praying her children never get bullied as she bullies others. The woman needs serious help. I will never step foot in there again $91 to be bullied like I'm in high school. read more

Worst experience EVER!! I have never had a pedicure take 90 min and still not have my toenails cut so they don't get in grown, let alone 30 minutes in and no water to soak my feet. Fabulous gel mani/pedi! The tech was so very nice and didn't judge me too much for needing a lot of work on my nails and cuticles. I haven't had a mani/pedi in almost a year. LV nails opened earlier this year. The shop is open and spacious eliminating the overwhelming "product odor" that comes with smaller shops. Time to start back to living life, and I wanted a mani and pedi. I'd mostly been doing my own nails, and somehow they looked like an amateur was taking care of them. I chose LV Nails because they are on Tanque Verde, just down the hill from where I live. The salon is light, bright, and immaculate. I watched the cleaning process between pedicures and was impressed with the thoroughness, including replacement of the tub liner. The pedi chairs are wonderful; and I appreciated my manicure being done in the same place. I have a bad ankle and a worse knee, and this plan accommodated me comfortably. The nail tech was helpful and solicitous, helping me settle in and remove my shoes. They carry matching polishes in enamel and gel and bring professionally-prepared swatches to the client to pick from instead of having to paw through bottles on the wall. Another convenience! The gentleman who owns the salon did my feet and gave me probably the best foot and leg massage of my life. One of the young ladies did my manicure. I am remiss in not getting names, but everyone's work appeared to be impeccable. My twenty nails are glossy, smooth, and beautifully shaped. My feet are smooth and soft. I had visited LV Nails when they first opened and left a well-earned scathing review. I decided to try again and am so glad I did. LV has earned five stars and I look forward to a manicure there every two weeks and a pedi every five. read more

I believe i worked with Emily and John. Emily did my nails, I made it very clear that I'm picky and that if she couldn't do what I wanted to just not do them. She told me to trust her and I'm glad I did. John did my toes and they came out great! And the massage and oil treatment I got was amazing For nails I always go for a natural look short length. I told her I don't want my natural nails to show when they start growing out it just looks nasty over time. She made me feel comfortable going with a longer length and she even did a gel polish on top very light pink and I'm obsessed. I decided to take off only one star for the following reasons: 1. I asked for a regular gel pedicure. After directly indicating I was not interested in any spa packages I was asked an additional time which at this point felt obligated and since the technician was being pushy at this point I agreed to a normal pedicure with hot oils. 2. I originally came in for obre style nails using the dip power. I was informed I couldn't because my nails were too "short." Although I always get two toned obre using powder with about three week long nails I agree to the gel only in a nude color. I was asked several times if I wanted the color of my manicure in powder (which is $50 so $20 more). I stood my ground this time and refused but felt like the technician was trying to get the most out of me. I only took off one star for the pushiness and the fact that I didn't get what I wanted. I appreciate being convinced to get the spa package because my foot needed it. If I'm honest I can't tell if I like my manicure. read more

I had the hot stone pedicure and a manicure. The absolute best pedicure I've ever had. A very long massage with hot towels and loved the hot stones. I then decided to get my eyebrows waxed. Wow just wow! Worst $55 and 1 1/2 I have spent at a nail salon for just dip manicure!!! Shape is all wrong, feels super bulky and all of them look different. Worst thing about is that the nail tech tells me to use a sharp object to scrub the remaining black he left on my cuticles.....um isn't that what I'm paying for?
