I love Destiny, she's amazing. Finding a stylist that can cut short hair is a pain. She listens to what I like my hair to do and enjoys sitting a style into my new cut. read more

Great place for hair care. Very nice people. It is a pleasure to be there. I always leave feeling great. Jacklyn does a fantastic job on my hair! read more

This is a nice salon. My hairdresser moved here. Its upscale yet quaint. They have the usual fare of services and goodies for sale. I just love my gal's cuts. Stephanie won't do you wrong. I might try a mani-pedi someday for sure. read more

Jacqueline is a fantastic stylist!! Besides that she is a wonderful person and a beautiful woman. I have never had an issue with the way she does my hair. She listens and accomplishes with great skills. So happy to have found her!! read more

Had the worst pedicure in a very long time. split sharp nail that kept catching on my clothes. uneven toenails and patchy nail polish. the lady was applying nail polish side to side !! Very disappointing and not cheap read more

Been here a few times and let me tell you the issues. Despite asking for something very specific, you'll end up with what the stylist wants to give you. So for example you might say, I'm really tired of layers, stylist says they understand, and proceed to cut layers anyway. There's certainly a role for stylists to save you from bad choices (Save Britney!) but if a customer clearly says they *don't* want something, you should probably not give them the thing. You'll get the inevitable push to buy products, and I've wasted enough money on lousy products like a tiny $20 jar of Italian conditioner that did nothing. The last time I went an apprentice did a good chunk of the work which I wasn't asked about ahead of time and it made me really uncomfortable. I paid the experienced stylist rate to have a student/new stylist get some experience. Let me repeat because I'm not sure I'm being clear on how this went down - I made an appointment with a specific stylist and the apprentice jumped in applying color too. Nope, not just someone helping shampoo. I have this gigantic chunk of a highlight on that side that looks worse than a home job. It looks like a skunk streak. I'm pissed. So, yeah, hard pass. And during the COVID-19 pandemic they sent emails to their clients saying they would stay open until the government forced them to close. Like... super proud they were endangering lives for the sake of vanity. They've sought to suppress negative reviews but I'll just keep telling my story. I've spent my last dollar here. read more

Lack of business INTEGRITY...After reading a previous review, I can concur that it's infuriating when a stylist cuts/colors your hair the way they want not what you've discussed, wanted or had service for previously. The grow out from the abysmal cut & color is going to take months to correct. Being a successful business owner for many years my main issue and complaint is after calling the business and speaking to the owner Jenny the only compensation she offered me was to place my trust in a random stylist or to have a convo with the stylist who hacked my hair. After Jenny's request to send her photos of my hair there was radio silence. She never responded back to me. Where is your integrity? Where's your sense of business ethics? Why would you ignore a customer's attempt at communication? The stylist failed and the business owner failed, period. read more

Trouvaille means a lucky find in French and the salon sure lives up to its name! I've probably walked by tons of times from Trader Joe's to A Village Bakehouse and I've never seen it. I'm happy I found it by way of Instagram! I saw a post by Rubi on the Brunch Babes Facebook group. I had been wanting to redo my balyage as my most recent experience was not good. I looked through her Instagram (@_hairbyrubii) and liked what I saw. I was able to quickly make an appointment. I showed her the picture of what I was looking for and she was able to recreate the color. I am happy with the color and the blending! I've already received many compliments. I moved to Tucson a little over a year ago and it's been hard finding someone I like to cut and color my hair. After my experience today, I believe I've found the one! read more

I got an appointment with Jackie. She is an amazing hairstylist. She gave me an amazing cut and fix my color. Everyone was super nice and very professional. I highly recommend the salon and I highly recommend Jackie. read more

I booked a last minute appointment for my little boy to be seen. He has sensory issues and hasn't had a haircut in over a year. Destiny was INCREDIBLE, compassionate, respectful and very patient. The salon was clean, quiet and the perfect environment for what we needed. We are so grateful for her amazing words of encouragement and her warm personality. She is the best, a true gift to this community and definitely the salon. Thank YOU! read more

This little salon is tucked away in the corner of the Trader Joe's shopping plaza on Magee and Oracle. It is a hidden treasure! The salon is clean and beautiful with nice chandiliers and relaxing music. The front desk staff was very friendly, asking if I'd like water or coffee and I was greeted promptly by my cosmetologist for my pedicure. The massaging chairs for the pedicure are very comfortable. I saw Leslie for my appointment and she was so sweet, friendly, and chatty. All their staff are cosmetologists so they do hair and nails which is fabulous because you can develop a nice relationship with your stylist. I'd recommend this place over any big-chain salon because I feel like you are treated very personally. read more

I love it here! I even would only come here when I moved away. This salon is professional, clean, and relaxing. I have curly hair and love the way they cut it. Coloring has always been on point which says something because my brown hair tends to get brassy. Never has gone brassy when I come here. I've been coming here since they first opened and can't recommend it enough. read more

Love my new stylist Jackie from Cali originally. She was able to consult me on what to do with my short curly thick hair and was extremely knowledgeable. She recommended great products and did a great job blowing out my hair. The cut was $45 which is perfect for my budget. I liked the atmosphere of the salon and the girl at the front desk was helpful and courteous from the phone call. I'm keeping them! Jackie also needs more clients so choose her! read more

Woke up on Saturday morning and decided to cut all my shoulder length hair off. Called at 8, got an appointment at 9:30 with Jennifer. She was AWESOME. She really listened to what I wanted, and was confident in her own technique. We had fun! I have been looking for a new stylist in the Tucson area for 6 years, and I have found her!. Don't be fooled by the in-progress decor. This place is fabulous, and is going to be even more so. read more

After years at Intuitive Edge salon, my stylist Jeff decided to leave and start working here at Trouvaille. As soon as my husband and I walked in, we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman at the front desk who got my husband and my information before anything else. He then immediately offered us refreshments while Jeff came around, gave each of us a hug, and took my husband back to cut his hair. Unlike Intuitive Edge, there is a specific waiting area, and it's far enough from everything else that one can easily read with minimal distraction. As always, Jeff did a great job on my hair. He also was a great conversationalist and bantered pleasantly with me, which is part of what makes him a great stylist. When my husband and I went to pay we were asked to schedule our next appointments. Because they have our numbers, there should be no problem getting a hold of us to remind us of our appointments. I normally hate getting my hair cut because of trouble with calling for appointments, but I think I could get used to getting called to remind me of my appointment. read more

I just returned home after a great visit to get my hair cut at Trouvaille Salon. I've been going here for a while now and am very happy with the results. I see Jackie and she's very good, listens to me, and has good suggestions. The products they use are very nice and leave my hair smelling and feeling wonderful. It's a friendly salon and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a new or different salon, check them out. Ask for Jackie. read more

This review is for Shannon who has been cutting my hair for several years. I have "cheated" and gone to others when I can't get an immediate appt. and I've never ever been satisfied. She is well worth the wait, I learned my lesson. I have sent several people to Shannon and each of them have loved what she did. The only way I can describe her cuts is ... Celebrity style. It's just perfect! Layered in just the right places, not chunky, and can be easily styled or not at all- which is my preference. Shannon is the best!!! You will not be disappointed. read more

Trouvaille Salon - A signature cut by Shannon, the one on the left ;) - Hair Salons Near Me - Oro Valley, Arizona

Jackie did an amazing job! I don't have the before but trust me it was washed out, dry, flat and in desperate need of change. New color and cut shown straight and then curled! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly knows hair! read more

Who would have known that so many elite Yelpers get their hair done here? This charming salon has many independent hair dressers that rent out space and do their business separately from the other salon services. I've been going to Shannon for the past two years to have my hair cut and it always looks great. The last time I went I wanted to get color as well and she teams with another hair dresser who specializes in color. I went dark red/brown and it turned out amazing. If you are looking for a new place to get a great cut and color this is the salon to go to. read more

Jennifer did a great job on my hair! I also called on a Saturday and got in the same day. Check this place out and ask for Jennifer. :) (She cut and did a partial highlight) read more

Ashley fixed my hair! It's so important to find a stylist who is not only talented but truly cares about the work they do. I didn't know just how important this was until I found Ashley. My hair was in need of some serious TLC and Ashley was the right person for the job. She was able to assess what was needed and with each cut we got closer and closer to fixing a cut gone wrong by someone else. Not only does she perform phenomenal cuts, she is a color wizard and lash extension extraordinaire! I highly recommend Ashley for all your spa & beauty needs! She's one of the best! read more

One of the best salons I have ever been to. Not at all pretentious. Everyone, is friendly, even stylists I don't use say hi. And from watching, I don't think there is a bad stylist in the place. Good mani/pedis too. Try it you will like it. read more

I had shellac done about a week ago and was very dissatisfied with how it turned out. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and a pleasure to talk to, but was not a nail tech (I found this out by over hearing). My shellac appeared as if there was a week of growth and now that it has been a week, they look awful. I'm going to a different salon tomorrow to have them done properly. read more

After reading the reviews, I dropped in to schedule a trim. I was able to see Karey later the same day...a nice surprise. When I scheduled my appontment, I was happy with my current hairstyle, but I needed to find a hairdresser closer to home. Karey is great! She listened to what I wanted and added some other great ideas. I AM A HAPPY WOMAN and I am scheduled for my next appointment! read more

I was recommeded by a friend to see Cordy at Trouvaille for my first haircut in a year and a half for my upcoming wedding. I was super aprehensive to get my haircut , hence the long period of time going without, because I had had a terrible experience somewhere else where they butchered my long hair with shaggy laters. Cordy reassured me that I would not have an experience like that again with her and we proceeded. I am so thankful I decided to go through with it, BEST CUT OF MY LIFE! Aside from all of this, the salon was beyond cute and I found out they do other services besides hair which I will definetly be back to try. Thank you for making me belive again good cuts do exist! read more
