DISHONEST. They ripped off my 14 year old daughter. Charged her $51 dollars for a fill. I called after and asked how much a fill costs. The lady said $36. I asked why she charged my daughter more. She said it was $5 more to change the shape of the nails and $5 more to only paint the tips of her nails. That adds up to $46. I asked why she charged her $51 and she couldn't and wouldn't give me an answer. They took 1.5 hrs to do a fill and overcharged her by a lot. They are shady. Nails only looked ok. Accepts walk-ins which is a huge plus for someone as scatterbrained as me! Just got a simple full set, it was $31 which is pretty reasonable for me especially for the quality. Had them on for about a month, no cracks or lifts. The woman who did them did a really thorough job in making sure there were no bubbles. Had an appointment for 2:45, showed up approx 5 min before my appointment. At 3:15 I walked out and will not be going back. I'm not impatient, but what is the point of an appointment if you have to wait over 30 min? Who knows how long I would have waited. I'm extremely sad to have to update my past review but it's time this nail salon get their act together. I would come get my gel nails done almost every 3 weeks for the last 2 years or so but after my last visit, I'm done. They are getting cheap by not updating or throwing their nail polishes when they're too old to use and because of that, 2 days after getting my nails done my nails start to chip. It's a nail spot in a seedy part of town, but whenever I go there I feel like a million bucks! The workers there take good care of your feet. I think I have gotten the best foot massages during a pedicure there. I had chosen a sparkly nail color and I told the nail tech if they had anything with more sparkle, he told me he would put a 2nd coat of glitter nail polish over the one I chose free of charge. Just to preface, I have been having my nails done for about 20 years in Canada and the US. In Tucson, Jade nails was recommended to me after I found 3 other very lackluster salons to do poor-quality nail work. I love them and have been going there for about 3 months. I have had 3 different clinicians do my nails everyone was great. Today Joe did my nails. I was a little leary because, honestly, I had only seen him dong pedicures when I was in there. But, alas, he was great. He pushed back my cuticles which means the nail work will last longer. They are perfectly shaped and just the right length. They are just the right thickness. Kudos to the whole team at Jade nails. Yes, it takes longer because quality takes time. If you want great quality and awesome service, I recommend trying Jade nails! read more

I was very unhappy with the way they told me for a full set of nails was $30 and up but because I asked her to make them round they charge me $5 extra which I think is ridiculous that's bad business they don't have a Visa machine I had to borrow money from someone which is my sister . I rated this 4-stars because: *They've always been able to accept me as a walk in. I hate that so many places require a booking for a pedicure. I'm not waiting three days to get a frickin' pedicure. *They have comfortable, massaging chairs and a large TV, so it's a relaxing event. *They take the time to give a good massage. Definitely not the best pedicure foot and leg massages that I've gotten. This is an area where they can improve. But most of them take their time, so that's really awesome. *They're affordable. Some things to improve: swap out the old nail polishes, better massage technique, and make sure everyone has good training. I once got a painting where the nail polish flaked off right away and I knew it was going to happen because she skipped some steps. None of these are a super big deal. I definitely like going here. (My favorite is John. He doesn't cut corners and really makes sure to go through all the steps. He also made a good recommendation for me when I picked out a color/sparkle combo that he knew wouldn't work.) read more

Absolutely don't go!!! I went today for a fill I had gone once before and it turned out okay. My normal girl couldn't get me in so this was my back up place. Anyways so the man doing my nails is super rough & keeps checking his watch. After the hour when he starts painting it they are HORRIBLE. I wouldn't say anything normally but it was so bad. So he goes no that's your nail. Your nails are what's wrong your cuticles are crooked. I say no ones ever told me this but if he could please make it even. He still says it's my nail and asks me for money. I go tell the owner because it was so bad there was No way I could leave like this. She yells at him for a while then has him take my gel off. The whole time he is making comments it's my nails & then he said it was the white polish to choose another color. She proceeds to redo my fills for another hour. Then has his polish him. Now pink because he wouldn't do white again. So now I'm two hours deep. I've been cut twice. Literally missing a chunk of skin my nails hurt it's super awkward. Then when it comes time to pay where they cut me is bleeding and my nails are still different shapes. She tells me $35 and I say okay but all my nails are different and I'm bleeding she says so sorry $34. read more

I give this a 5/5 because they really take their time and don't rush you. The pedicure I received today was the best and the massage was amazing. They even remembered who I was even though I hadn't been there in almost a year. Overall great service which is what really matters to me as opposed to location and looks. The PLUSES: It's close to my house and they don't do a bad job (not great either, particularly weak on scrubbing the feet of dead skin and massaging the feet) AND it's not expensive. The MINUSES: They do NOT honor appointments - it's first come first serve. Twice I've had an appointment and walked in to find them give the chair to someone who walked in a moment before me and been asked to wait, even though THAT person did NOT have an appointment at all! The last time they LIED to my face and said she had an appointment but she told me she did not, they just used that excuse to lie and not honor my appointment and let the walk-in go ahead of me. The staff are unfriendly - most of the staff at Tucson nail salons do not speak fluent English but they are also pretty surly at this place - I did think that was kind of funny in the beginning, but... The CLEANLINESS: UGH. I'm done with this place. The file they use to scrub your feet has been used on 100 people that day - they do not replace them ever. They do not clean out the chair in between appointments (I've witnessed this myself) and even if they do, it's just with a wet rag and no antibacterial cleaner, so I should not be surprised to get a fungus and need to get antifungal cream as a result of this place. NOT WORTH THE CHEAP PEDICURE unless you really enjoy fungus on your feet. read more

I went in for Gel French Manicure, Pedicure and eyebrows wax. I have been there before but last visit was horrible. The lady who did my nails was in such hurry to finish them because the other consumers were waiting. When she was done, I noticed one nail did not have clear polish yet, she apologized and did it on my last nail. 2 of my nails polish were peeling next two days. Two other nails were peeling on 4th day. Gel was supposed to last 2 - 3 weeks. They did not bother to turn on captioned TV for me (deaf people). I hope they will redo my nails tomorrow without charge me. read more

The salon looks a little run down, but, so far as I could tell, was clean enough. The manicure was inexpensive, but still overpriced for what I got. Of the usual steps in a manicure, several were not done at all (removing current nail polish, applying cuticle cream, hand massage.) Of the steps that were done, none was done well. The clear nail polish was such poor quality that it was thick and peeling the next day. The people were not particularly friendly and the salon was extremely silent except for the TV, which was showing a funeral. read more
