So this was my first time here and I was hoping for the best. People were friendly and have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is when you ask for a service and it's always questioned. I got full set with just gel color, no crazy designs or requests. As she was brushing in the acrylic powder into my nail I could already tell she was using a lot, and no I am not a nail tech but I have gotten my nails done so many times to know what's a lot. As she was filing down the nail I asked her I wanted them to be thin and not thick. At some point she asked me if this was my first time getting acrylic before to which I figured she thought I didn't know how it worked because I had questions. Before sitting down for my full set I got a "express pedicure" which was basic regular nail polish for $30 which I thought it was ok. As she is putting the gel on my full set I do start noticing that the work isn't clean along the cuticle and I'm ok with minimal mess ups to be honest but these were noticiable, by this time I was already feeling judged because I did point out other things. She is done and I definitely don't feel have with them, when I go and pay she says ,"$98" I said, "these are $68 dlls?" She said, "yeah that's full set" . There's no way this work is that much, I feel sad because it's too late for me to get anything else and frustrated because I feel like it's never about the costumer, like I'm paying for a service and in this case I paid for something I'm not happy with. She did ask what I didn't like and I told her they look bulky and I wasn't happy, to what she stayed quiet and didn't say much. I paid and walked out. Went in yesterday to get a much needed pedicure with my mom. Place is very clean and inviting. I made an appointment for 3:00 and was seated promptly at said time. Was having a bad day, so went in for a Mani/Pedi. I had gel polish on both toes and fingers, so I knew it might take a while. After searching Yelp reviews, I chose this establishment. I was the only one in the place, so a nice woman started my pedicure right away. I saw her open a new set of tools for the job. I figured they would do the usual to remove the polish, but she just used the "dremel tool" and took the top few layers of polish off, not all of it. The rest of the pedicure was Lovely, but she didn't do all that the card said with the clay wrap. Still, my feet and legs feel nice and my toes look decent. The woman who did my fingernails used the "dremel" to remove the top few layers and then remover with foil and mittens, as usual. Got all the old gel polish off well. After that, it was "quick and dirty". She filed my nails a bit and got my cuticle on my left hand a couple of times. It hurt, but no blood. The polish went on quick and a little messy at the edges, so I've had to file my nails around the edges of my fingers make it better. She did put on two coats so it is smooth and even. Not the best experience I've ever had, but not a really Bad one either. It did brighten my day a bit, though. read more

I love this place, clean, comfortable, and inviting. Even my hubby loves getting pampered with me. The many times I've been here I've always had a great experience. This is a quirk that I have, I have to be able to see an autoclave to know they are cleaning the tools appropriately. Back by the massage chair are two nice little cleaning machines tucked away from clients view, unless you sit in the last two seats like we always do. Do I recommend this place?? Heck yea! I had a noon appointment today for a mani-pedi. I opted for the Pedicure Exfoliation, only 30.00 and their Basic Manicure, only 14.00. I arrived on time, was greeted and seated in the pedicure chair promptly. It's really nice to have finally found a more peaceful and relaxing nail salon. There is only one TV and the volume was very low. I've been to way too many salons where you can't hear yourself think let alone relax so this is a huge plus for me. The salon itself is very clean and up to date. I'll definitely be returning. read more

This place has gone downhill in the last year unfortunately. The people working here seem miserable and the quality of the work done is non existent. Cuticles are not removed, nails are cut jagged, and polish is not applied around the entire nail. I'm currently waiting for my nails to dry and here are some pictures while still at the salon. update: I just asked for the tools to fix my nails myself and was handed dirty tools. Watch out this business will rip you off!! I had been to Tulips Nails a few times before and had never had an experience like this until today. I asked for a pedicure and the male nail tech refused to let me look at the regular nail polishes and said "no, these are our colors". He handed me a ring of colors and asked me to choose from there. He wouldn't tell me prices and refused to let me look at their menu stating, "do you want to pay $30, $35, or $40". My pedicure was fine, but I never wanted to have a gel pedicure. At the end the total came to $55 NOT the prices he quoted me. I don't appreciate his lies and unwillingness to show me prices and options. I will never return to this salon and I would recommend others to stay away unless you want to be ripped off. read more

Tried this place out because it was recommended to me by a family member. I was a walk in, which was no issue for Tulip Nails. I was attended to immediately upon arrival. I opted for a simple gel polish (shellac). There are some ups and downs with this place. The staff are very friendly and kind. The place itself is nice looking and clean, and all of the pedicure chairs seem to be of high quality. The instruments were taken out of a bag that appeared to be sterile and sent through an autoclave machine (very important). However, I had a few issues that for me, are major. The nail file and buffer used on me appeared VERY worn out. There was almost no grit left on the file, but instead, lots of white- a clear sign that the file had been used on many, MANY before me. I just didn't find it sanitary having someone else's nail flakes flying off of this thing onto me! This was my biggest issue, and if this place started using the individual mini files and buffers that a lot of places are offering (single-use) I would bump this place up to five stars. My only other issue was that during my gel polish manicure, when my hands went under the UV light, I had a bad burning feeling on my fingers. It was definitely painful. I'm not sure why this was happening, but I know some of the gel polish was on my skin when he gave me the manicure and each time I had to put my hand under the light, it felt like I was receiving a little chemical burn. Ouch. Truly, if this salon switched to individual use files and buffers, I could see myself being a regular here. read more

You know what! I really like this place. I am super picky about how my feet are handled and I really like how they perform a pedicure. The interior is well appointed. I have always gotten in right away on a walk in. They have customizable build-able packages ranging from your "express" pedi for $20.00 to the "full foot tune up" for about "45.00". I got the pedicure with the massage and exfoliation scrub. The lady rushed it, and the massage was basically her just putting lotion on my leg and she kept rubbing the top of my foot. Terrible! I had taken my best friend for her first pedicure here unfortunately ...it was the worst. The workers there try to pressure you to buy anything and everything. She was scared and self conscious about her one toe I said they don't care, was I wrong the entire time they were working on our feet they were speaking in their native language and looking at her foot made her feel like crap. My good friend and I go here on a monthly basis for our pedicures. They do a wonderful job and are EXTREMELY well priced. My friend gets her nails done here on a monthly basis and they do a great job on her acrylic nails. I've had a few manicures, including their shellac manicures, and they do a great job at it. The shellac lasts me for at least a week. For a regular manicure and pedicure, it usually costs me about $50ish. Everyone who works here is friendly and does a good job. read more

Okay, I find it very difficult to find a good place to get decent pedicure, but they've won me over. They recently remodeled their place and it looks phenomenal! I came in at about noon on a Wednesday afternoon and was seated for my pedicure right away with no appointment. I try to avoid the weekend/after work crowds so I can't say how they work when extremely busy. All of my needs were met. The lady warmed my water up until I was satisfied, did a great leg massage, and kept making sure I was happy. She didn't talk too much to me, which I like cuz it's nice to just sit here and relax. I have been coming here for over 10 years and have only positive things to say about this salon. They are very clean and neat, knowledgeable and skilled in their profession. At one point I had an issue with some nail products. Kenny knew just what I needed and gave me a bottle to try. WOW! It worked wonderfully. I have seen staff members who were hired and have been with the salon for all the time that I have gone there. Then I have seen two staff members who did not last for even a month. 1 star is being kind! They are not very helpful or accommodating. They provide services but nothing close to customer service. My shellac didn't even make it 4 days. They didn't offered me a refund or were much help at getting me back in to redo my nails. The guys running then shop come off rude & I feel dislike their jobs; the ladies whisper too much, can't make decisions about a schedule, and I feel they all hate what they do.
