These don't look almond to me.
Claudia L.

So this was my first time here and I was hoping for the best. People were friendly and have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is when you ask for a service and it's always questioned. I got full set with just gel color, no crazy designs or requests. As she was brushing in the acrylic powder into my nail I could already tell she was using a lot, and no I am not a nail tech but I have gotten my nails done so many times to know what's a lot. As she was filing down the nail I asked her I wanted them to be thin and not thick. At some point she asked me if this was my first time getting acrylic before to which I figured she thought I didn't know how it worked because I had questions. Before sitting down for my full set I got a "express pedicure" which was basic regular nail polish for $30 which I thought it was ok. As she is putting the gel on my full set I do start noticing that the work isn't clean along the cuticle and I'm ok with minimal mess ups to be honest but these were noticiable, by this time I was already feeling judged because I did point out other things. She is done and I definitely don't feel have with them, when I go and pay she says ,"$98" I said, "these are $68 dlls?" She said, "yeah that's full set" . There's no way this work is that much, I feel sad because it's too late for me to get anything else and frustrated because I feel like it's never about the costumer, like I'm paying for a service and in this case I paid for something I'm not happy with. She did ask what I didn't like and I told her they look bulky and I wasn't happy, to what she stayed quiet and didn't say much. I paid and walked out. Sadly, this specific person didn't do the best , maybe someone else works better here but unfortunately my experience wasn't one that makes me want to come back.

Crappy nails

I got a mani/pedi yesterday. Don't bother going here! The technician was pleasant; however, $100 for nails that look like a 6 year old painted them? I won't be back!!

My wife and I come here whenever we need a quick pedicure to feel a bit human. The number four gets the chemical blob of heat firmly wrapped around your piggies. When the bags come off, your feet are baby soft! A little bit of color on my nails and a flower and I'm off!

I love this place, clean, comfortable, and inviting. Even my hubby loves getting pampered with me. The many times I've been here I've always had a great experience. This is a quirk that I have, I have to be able to see an autoclave to know they are cleaning the tools appropriately. Back by the massage chair are two nice little cleaning machines tucked away from clients view, unless you sit in the last two seats like we always do. Do I recommend this place?? Heck yea! If you need a nail place in the NW area this is the place to go :) Oh yes.... can't forget, I've had no problem with walking in and appointments.

I had a noon appointment today for a mani-pedi. I opted for the Pedicure Exfoliation, only 30.00 and their Basic Manicure, only 14.00. I arrived on time, was greeted and seated in the pedicure chair promptly. It's really nice to have finally found a more peaceful and relaxing nail salon. There is only one TV and the volume was very low. I've been to way too many salons where you can't hear yourself think let alone relax so this is a huge plus for me. The salon itself is very clean and up to date. I'll definitely be returning.

I was told about this spot yesterday and decided to stop in. I was pleasantly surprised. They do a really good job and they are reasonably priced

You know what! I really like this place. I am super picky about how my feet are handled and I really like how they perform a pedicure. The interior is well appointed. I have always gotten in right away on a walk in. They have customizable build-able packages ranging from your "express" pedi for $20.00 to the "full foot tune up" for about "45.00". Mani/Pedi combos are $35. I can really dig deals like that.

$30 for gel nails and it looks like my 5 year old did it. I have never had such a bad manicure before. Just moved here and I will be finding a different place for better quality work.

Beautiful job Jimmy! Pink and white gel full set.

I have been coming to delicate nails for pedicures years now since it's close to my house. They…read morehave been nothing but professional and have always done my nails just to my liking. Their signature pedicure (#2) is a very reasonable price and I've always found the location to be very clean. The manager (I think Tien is his name) that sits at the front is really great. I came with my wedding party to have nails done for my wedding and when I said it was for my wedding, he made sure it was him that did my nails. I asked for airbrush ombré nails that I had seen on Pinterest and they came out absolutely perfect (picture from the wedding attached)! A few months later I came for my monthly pedicure and it was the first time I didn't have the best experience with the nail tech. They always text me after and ask for feedback. I stated that it wasn't a great experience and they definitely made sure the next time I came in (today) that they took care of me. Today Lena (Lina?) did my pedicure and it was a great experience, I will definitely request her in the future. You never know if places take feedback seriously but I was incredibly appreciative that they care about their customers and make sure their customers are happy. I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

This was by far one of the worst experiences in a nail shop I've had in years. There is about 12-15…read moretechs rushing services to get to everyone so quality is extremely low. It's so fast paced in there no real salon experience or vibe. I got a simple short French set and my total bill was $117 which is beyond ridiculous and it isn't even close to decent, it looks like I will need fills in a few days smh. The nail tip wasn't applied flush to the nail bed so I will need a new set soon due to the gap underneath. Just over poor quality disappointing service and price. I read great reviews and thought I would try it out but it was a complete fail.

I'm not going to lie: when Tara my former nail technician at Nails Go Round quit I was bummed; Tara…read moredid a beautiful job. I tried Emily with the same salon. Most of the product ended up on the paper towel and not on my nails; in addition to that, the acrylic started to break off and under a week one nail had come off completely. I cancelled further appointments with Nails Go Round and took off the set that had been on my nails for over a year. So I tried a relatively new salon where the old Hancock Fabric used to be: Orchid Nails. My tech was fast and spoke little English. I can deal with that, sort of; I take my e-reader with me for those reasons. What I can't deal with is regular nail polish instead of the gel polish I picked out. What I further can't deal with is the manager calling me a liar and asking if I was sure I had been at Orchid Nails. Well, my bank statement says Orchid Nails. You know what they say: if quacks like a duck and acts like a duck, the chances are good that it's a duck. I never went back to Orchid Nails. I tried Nails by Yen. Loved it, aside from a few minor details. But mainly, it's too far relatively speaking; I wanted something closer to home. I tried US Nails. There are times I wish I was allowed to carry duct tape for the obnoxious clients that seem oblivious to how uncomfortable they make others feel; ah well, that's protected under the first amendment mind you. Still, in terms of fantasy... Anyways, aside from rude and obnoxious clientele, I couldn't communicate with the nail tech very much. That disappointed me. And I still wanted something close to home. Well, that's why Yelp exists in part. I searched again. J Braun Salon doesn't do acrylics at all. Scratch that. The next on the list with an impressive amount of stars was Feisty Studios Salon and Spa with a nail technician named Annie Thai. Why didn't I find Annie after Tara quit? I could have saved myself this lengthy and frankly stupid review of past mistakes had I found Annie after Emily. I tend to forget that the area I live in is technically unincorporated Marana aside from the pesky detail of the post office being in Tucson. At least the one that serves my area. But I did locate Annie and she is awesome. Totally sweet and accommodating and very accomplished in her career. I left with gorgeous nails and a second appointment. Best of all for me is that I can communicate with her and we were able to swap stories and chat. I highly, highly recommend Annie Thai. You won't be disappointed!
