A friend recently took me here, as part of a much needed healing process, and I could not have been happier. The people here, were patient with my disability and very gentle and caring. The music was soothing and the general feeling was relaxed and calming. They made my toes look wonderful, which was no small task, and the massage chair was lovely. I asked for a simple pale pink with the white ribbon charms. I left with giant chiclets for nails and they waited until after fully painting them (not well) to tell me they didn't have the charms even though I asked three times during while she was doing them to make sure she was going to add them because they would have been the saving grace to the uneven fill and the streaky polish. They were very kind though I will say that so I did still tip them and they gave me a free hat which was nice of them. read more

WORST MANICURE OF MY LIFE. The manicurist coughed all over my hands!!!! She also "massaged" my hands with little to no oil and her dry scratchy skin hurt! Then another lady came to paint my nails.....I've never seen anyone slap on a base coat like that. She didn't even paint the nail. Just slapped it on. Then as she was painting my nails she kept bumping the tops with her fuzzy sweater and messing them up. So what did she do? Just slapped more nail polish over the top. my nails came out chunky and uneven, with bubbles and ridges, and the polish doesn't even cover the nail! I can see each layer. It doesn't even go to the base of the nail. Now I'm going to have to go straight to another salon for a polish change. I was the only one in the salon so I don't know why she didn't take more time to do it right! read more

Quoted $25 for a full set. I understand there is an up charge for designs and shape. However, this set was $50. You can see what I asked for. Nearly nothing like the picture (which the tech assured me multiple times he could recreate this set.)In addition to this, the tech made me bleed using the electric drill. I had my appt Saturday evening (their last appt) and I called Monday to let them know I was unsatisfied and they told me I had to let them know within 24 hours of my appt to get them fixed. No refunds issued and no services to compensate me. I didn't even ask for a refund, I simply wanted a free fill. I was more than willing to give them an opportunity to fix their mistake. The decor is what caught my eyes at first. This place is a for sure a hidden gem. We were greeting with such safe precautions (hand sanitizers, temp check) and mostly hospitality. We were offered teas and waters. I just need a fill, but my nail tech gave good advice for shape and color so it was really nice! And it was an amazing price and we were offered a a free mask after and i took this adorable Hello Kitty one. I definitely will make this my salon for life! They deserve way more business! read more

Old nail polish. I paid for gel top coat and minutes after I left my nails were all messed up. I didn't have time to go back because I had a party I was already late to. I had red nail polish on that they had to remove and the lady didn't even remove all the way and she was about to put the acrylic on. I had to literally asked her for the nail file to do it myself. Another lady walked out while they were doing my nails because the lady kept going back and forth and doing a trrrivle job on both. If I could give only one star I would! Don't waste your money. I was charged $3 more to remove dry skin from my feet. The couple working is very nice and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. But it wasn't exactly what I expected as far as quality. Hands down worst pedicure I've ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE!!!! And I've had a LOT. I wanted to walk out the second I saw how filthy their bathroom was and should have. They finished my pedicure in 12 minutes and I was so horrified with the experience that I didn't even want polish but was still charged full price. $20 for mine. The elderly woman that did my moms pedicure threw the toenail clippings all over the floor. Polish was left all over my moms skin and didn't want to clean it up when I told her about it. I feel this couple is just too old to be doing this type of business. I'm going straight into a DIFFERENT nail salon to get a real pedicure. The "massage" only lasted 20 seconds per leg and hurt like hell. Horrible service, horrible quality, filthy and so rushed. Don't waste your money. read more

2 weeks ago, I got like a french peach nude ombré set at Luxe nail on Santa Cruz calle. That one is fairly new. Anyways I went there this morning for fills and the wait was gonna be too long. I remembered my in-law suggested moonlight awhile back. There was the owner who was the oldest. A middle aged lady who was my nail tech and the youngest Waldo doing only pedis. When I sat with the nail tech said she could try to take out the color to fill with a similar color and save the tip. Then people started coming in so they stopped my nails and sat me to do my pedi. The younger lady doing my pedi said no you need to soak off and get a whole new set. I'm like no she said she can do it, pointing at the nail tech. They talked in their language and I began to get the feeling she just wanted more $$ out of me. That's not right. Not only that she almost put on the wrong color on my toes and idk if it was her lack of English but she kept trying to keep more of the top I was going to give my nail tech. 3 stars for the tech and -2 for the pedicure lady. Not sure if I'll go back especially if I have to be served by greedy Gordon again Lol read more

Went in for fills and a pedicure. Pedicure was fine and lady did good job. As for my nails I was very disappointed. I don't know if they have old polish but it bubbled and was lumpy about two hours later. Since I had a commitment I could not go back. I was so embarrassed with my nails all night long because they looked so bad for the amount of money they charged me. They were closed the next day so I had to go to another salon and pay extra to have them fixed. Will never go back to this salon again. read more
