This was by far one of the worst experiences in a nail shop I've had in years. There is about 12-15 techs rushing services to get to everyone so quality is extremely low. It's so fast paced in there no real salon experience or vibe. I got a simple short French set and my total bill was $117 which is beyond ridiculous and it isn't even close to decent, it looks like I will need fills in a few days smh. The nail tip wasn't applied flush to the nail bed so I will need a new set soon due to the gap underneath. Just over poor quality disappointing service and price. I read great reviews and thought I would try it out but it was a complete fail. read more

I have been coming to delicate nails for pedicures years now since it's close to my house. They have been nothing but professional and have always done my nails just to my liking. Their signature pedicure (#2) is a very reasonable price and I've always found the location to be very clean. The manager (I think Tien is his name) that sits at the front is really great. I came with my wedding party to have nails done for my wedding and when I said it was for my wedding, he made sure it was him that did my nails. I asked for airbrush ombré nails that I had seen on Pinterest and they came out absolutely perfect (picture from the wedding attached)! A few months later I came for my monthly pedicure and it was the first time I didn't have the best experience with the nail tech. They always text me after and ask for feedback. I stated that it wasn't a great experience and they definitely made sure the next time I came in (today) that they took care of me. Today Lena (Lina?) did my pedicure and it was a great experience, I will definitely request her in the future. You never know if places take feedback seriously but I was incredibly appreciative that they care about their customers and make sure their customers are happy. I feel a little ripped off. I brought my daughters here to get manicures. We were walk-in's and got seated right away, but unfortunately we were seated completely separated, so it wasn't a very good mother-daughter bonding experience. I'm not too happy with the results. One of my daughters asked for a blue-black polish (the one you use magnets on), and ended up with a glittery brown color (very different that what she wanted). My other daughter asked for a red magnetic polish and got that, but it doesn't look like they did anything to get the special effect that comes with that polish. I got acrylics and asked for a grey French tip. Halfway through I was asked to move to a different chair (maybe to make room for other clients?). I guess my request wasn't communicated because I ended up with full grey nails; which wasn't my preference, but I guess it's my fault for not noticing until the first hand was done and not wanting to say anything. I paid $130 for 2 child manicures and a set of acrylics, which according to their website should've only come out to about $70. I was stupid and didn't ask for the receipt at the time so now I have no way of knowing what they upcharged me for. My acrylics are bulky and definitely don't look natural. I had a friend say they looked nice, but she could tell they just weren't done right. 9 days later, both of my daughters have chipped polish, and my nails look like they're on week 2 or 3. Not what I expected for $130. I won't give 1 star because my daughters were still very happy to show off their manicures, but unfortunately we won't be returning here. Update - By day 12, two of the nails were almost falling off (more than half the nail peeled up). I had to go out of town the next day, so I ended up having to buy nail glue at the store to reglue them myself. Day 14 or 15, I lost 1 nail, and 3 more are peeling off. I know acrylics need to be refilled, and kids manicures don't last forever; but I just can't imagine spending $260+ on nails in a month. Maybe I'm crazy read more

For me- when I go into a nail salon I look for two things- quality work and consistency. I've tried every friggin nail salon on Tucson over the last 20 years. Delicate Nails takes pride in their work. They correct mistakes, they take their time, they multitask efficiently without affecting clients, and they pretty much just rock it out from open to close!! They have so many colors to choose from and ask all of the right questions. Color seem a little sheer? They will ask you if you'd like another coat. Thrilled they were able to get me in with such short notice. When making my appt I explained what I was looking for and explained how I was terrified as I still have issues with my broken toe. i was a walk in and was impressed with how fast i was seen! i got a pedicure which went fine but i spent about thirty minutes waiting between the pedicure and the manicure. while i typically wouldn't really care, it was frustrating because they kept telling me someone was just about to help me but that never happened. the tech who did my full set seemed frustrated and rushed. it felt like i was an inconvenience. my nails came out super thick and there's a gap between the artificial nail and my natural nail underneath. i was cut a few times and bled. my cuticles were in a lot of pain. my pedicure chipped away faster than it has anywhere else. on top of that, the bill came out to $130. i'm really disappointed because the place was so cute and i had only heard good things about the nail techs. i will not be returning. read more

The white line is uneven or had a noticeable bigger width and they didn't add the pink undertone. I gave this place another chance. I shouldnt have.. I asked for square nails. They are not square what so ever. The man cut them very uneven and they look weird. They tried to add acrylic but it is still uneven. :( You should see the amount of acrylic added to "fix" my nail. I have to pay to get it fixed somewhere else. It's causing pain. I walked in without an appointment Wednesday afternoon and was able to be seen right away. My tech was lily and she absolutely blew away my expectations for an ombré coffin shaped full set. She was very detail oriented and meticulous while working on my set! The shape was perfect and the blending of the ombré was very smooth. Someone different did my dip mani (Michelle) and she did a great job, much better than the last person who did my nails. She gave me an awesome manicure, removed all dead skin and cuticles and the dip job was professional and met all my expectations. It's been 5 days since she did my nails and they look perfect still. Most managers blow off poor Yelp reviews. I appreciate that the manager cares enough to reach out and prove to you that they're worth your business. This breaks my heart doing this but I don't want it to happen to anyone else. I've been going to Delicate Nails for almost 2 years. The girl I saw was amazing but now she doesn't work there. The last 2 times, with 2 different people.... have been terrible. Especially this last time. She quite literally took off pieces of my ATTACHED to skin meals. On one of my toes, there is barely a nail there. 4 of my toes are bleeding. I should have stopped her earlier. That is my fault. I hope to God they grow back normal. I've been going to this nail salon for the past 2 years. Sadly because they did a better job than the other nail salons in this area (Cortaro, Silverbell and I-10). Their prices keep going up and their quality down. I was there 6 days ago, paid $102 plus tip for a full set and gel polish on my toes. Last night I took a bath and the gel polish on my toes peeled off. Gel polish is supposed to last at least 2 weeks!! What the heck! Very disappointed to see the quality of work. This has happened in the past and I return so they can fix it. But time is priceless and I can't be wasting an entire hour or two for them to fix their errors. first time going to a nail place in tucson so i didn't know what to expect. i called on a sunday to see if they had an opening and they did. once i got there the place was very crowded almost every seat was taken: however they got me in right away, they have multiple pedicure levels. i went with the 45$ mask one because i run a lot and wanted them to focus on my callus. they had a lot of gel color options which was nice. the lady doing my nails didn't know any english so we communicated by pointing but the pedicure was amazing. they use warm towels and lotions. my feet have never been this soft. the pedicure came out to around 60$ without tip. in order to tip you have to zelle the employee separately. read more

So the last time I went in there, it was under new management but, still a chop shop sadly. As they say leopards don't/can't change their spots. True of this place too. I decided to splurge and do the cat eye polish and the tech couldn't get it work right; so the manager came over to finish and then told me while he was trying to correct the techs mistake that I had chosen the wrong color. Just what a paying customer wants to hear a manager tell her. My response: no, I didn't choose the wrong color; I chose the wrong nail salon. A mistake I have since corrected as I have not been back. Mom went there recently and her nails started breaking left and right. She has since cancelled her appointment with them. All I can say is find a better chop shop. a full set of nails took 1 hour and 45 minutes and they look horrible!! I asked them why it's taking so long and the main nail technician said "they take their time, for quality so the nails look nice." When the nails were done they were absolutely NOT good quality. you can still see the fake nail under the acrylic, the width of the nail does not match the finger size. in addition, the nail beds have no cuticle oil/care. the staff was unapologetic and still charged full price. worst experience ever. Tien does the best dip manicure in Tucson and all their staff are so friendly and do a great job. I am super picky with how I like my nails and after just one time Tien learned exactly what I liked and now I don't even need to ask. Usually I get my mani/pedis from B&L Nail Salon, but I decided to give this place a chance. Got a pedicure from the one that looks a little tomboy-ish. I was talking to my sister the entire time, minding my own (keep in mind I'm very kind to those who have to work with the public because I am in the same line of business as well). Mid pedicure she says to me "your ingrowns are AWFUL!" I was like "oh don't worry about it I'm sorry." Just unnecessary and uncalled for. Then I went to another nail tech to get my acrylics removed. She goes absolutely BUCKWILD and tears my nail halfway off. She was very nice about it...but....my nail was gushing blood. She tried to stop the blood with.....wait for it....nail glue! I'm no doctor but I feel like nail glue on an open wound probably isn't the best solution. The eyebrow lady was fantastic though.
