As someone who's new to the area, I was excited to find a local nail salon to become a regular at. My first impression was great because everyone was welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, my experience changed once my nail tech's regular client arrived. I felt like my appointment became rushed, and the design I received wasn't what I had hoped for. The service started to feel more transactional than personalized. What disappointed me the most was having the agreed-upon price changed in front of me during my appointment. I chose not to argue about it, but it left me feeling uncomfortable. I value businesses that are upfront, honest, and consistent with their pricing. I believe great customer service is about making every client feel valued, not just regulars. I was here the day before I needed a manicure and pedicure. Had the design I wanted. But the lady said they was only with gel or dip. I told her I couldn't because there something in them or the light that makes my skin peel. Kathy is her name. She started talking in her language and seemed upset because it was a regular pedicure and to Nehru those designe (a swirl) was to much work because if she needed up she would have to do it again. This is why I should go with gels or dips. I said no. She started talking her language and I don't know but she seemed upset. When I told the other lady that came to do my manicure she said she couldn't do the swirl, again it's just a long S ‍. Do they convinced me to get dips but it would have to be next day. Too late right now. I'm coming from 45-50 min away. So asked how much yo take the food off the following day she said $15. Ok do I made my appointment and told her I would go with the dips since my nail are long and didn't want to mess them up. I left work early to make her appointment. When I come in she busy. I get Mike he starts filing my nails and when I tell him what a want he says he doesn't have what I need. He can't do it. Shows the picture to three techs and they starts talking over each other in their language. The owner comes my way and says they can't do it on a dip only gel.... (Are you linking me?!!!) at this point I tell her ok let's just do regular French tips with glitter and again Mike says no he can't do it she tell him yes you can look just like this. It's so frustrating! Especially hearing them talk so loud it made me soooo uncomfortable. Even Another lady getting a pedi was like "really?!" So if you're looking for basic gels, manicures and dips sure it's a nice place. But for anything other than what they do regularly definitely no. I left stressed and not with what I wanted. Should I have left? Yes. But tomorrow is my birthday celebration and it was getting late with other things pending. Also my hand massage was rough getting lotion on my watch didn't even give me a chance to take it off. It was an awful experience this time. Other times I had a regular manicures and it was gone so that's why I came to them. So go if you want basic it's a good place. Something different it's a headache. Called on a Friday late am and was told I could come in a half hour , although walk-ins are welcomed . I walk past Skyline Nail & Spa often on my route to work out at Anytime Fitness seems to be always busy . It's easier to just have my toe nails /" hoofs " trimmed , than struggle sadly on my own . The charge was 10$ and I was very happy with the fast result . Thank you Lonnie / Lonni sp? He told the manager it's important for a players feet to feel good as an active athlete is so important . They were featured on camera having a pedicure together in phoenix /scottsdale on tv chatting with the stoic old manager. My toes and feet do feel much better, grateful for your service ! HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!! I went to get a pedicure today and had a pretty disgusting and uncomfortable experience. I realized that the nail file that was used on me was previously used. I noticed it had nail polish on it that they had previously tried to file off of someone. Then I looked over at my friend getting her toes done and hers was really old, looked like it had to be changed soon... this totally grossed me out. Nail files should be replaced each time per customer. All I could think about is someone that had fungus on their toes, got their nails done with that same file that was used on me and I could possibly get fungus because this place didn't care about sanitization. When it came time to have my foot scrubbed, I looked at the graders and the loofah. I noticed that the loofah was used and old as well. So I told them I didn't want my foot scrubbed. Then I paid attention to to when they used the grader on my friend and I noticed that they just rinsed it off and put it back in the same bin as if it was clean. This whole experience left me mortified. I hope neither of us end up with an infection or some type of fungus. The people doing our toes did a good job but none of their things were sanitary. The salon owner should hold a higher standard and require everything be new per each customer and any metal used should be properly sterilized. I will never return to the salon. I hope the health inspectors see this and investigate. read more

Went for a pedicure this morning. Since turning 83 years old, a professional pedicure has become not only a luxury but a necessity. The provider today was excellent, giving excellent care in a relaxed and pleasant environment. There was no sense of rushing through all the services provided. Checked out this place with no appointment 45 minutes after they opened. There were already a few patrons. Came in for a much needed pedicure. They immediately escorted me to one of the massage chairs. I am very particular about my pedicures, a lot of the technicians never seem to get it right, even after you explain them what you would like. The older lady (sorry!! I didn't get her name) just knew what to do! It's as if she could read my mind!! I didn't need to give her any directions....I could tell she was on a mission to fix my feet and she did!!!! Top picture is what I ended up with after the tech tried to blame it on not speaking or understanding much English but it wasn't a problem till the end. Hummm kinda odd. Then as I am speaking with the manager she is over there talking English and understanding it. speaking it well enough that I could see and hear that she is talking about me to her next client that came in and was wanting hints as to why all the sudden she couldn't do that nail design. I am very irritated about my experience with this spa, I saw all the good reviews and decided to try it out. My pedicure went very well and was the only part I actually enjoyed. When I went to get a dip manicure the male doing my nails completely ripped off my entire natural nail tips (which i have been growing for about 6 months now). I called and was told to come right in for mani/pedi. I waited -5 minutes, no problem. Nail tech (said her name was Mai?) did a good job of prepping my toes and cutIcles before polishing. However, when applying nail color, she let the polish puddle around my cuticles and, with her rubber gloves on, did little or nothing to prevent it. She could've used a stick or bare fingernail to clean up each nail but did not. Both my toenails and fingernails ended up growing out poorly due to the excess polish. read more

I would give them 5 stars, these was a lady doing my nails and she was fine, then she had something to do. So Mike finished it up, Horrible is not generous enough he botched my nails, he made my cuticles bleed and he was just not nice at all. First time here. Nails came out great but I had to basically coach the nail tech on how to do my French tip the way I wanted. I brought in a picture and everything too. Whole thing took like 3 hours and $75. I still tipped well because the staff was so nice and I could tell they were really trying but I don't think I'll be back. For the price I paid I could get a really complicated design somewhere else and I only got a normal white French tip. I could have almost driven back to Scottsdale to my regular place and gotten them done for half the price and saved money with how long it took. read more

They used the drill against my cuticles way too much that my thumb and ring finger are raw, same issue when the file was pulled out. Terrible service. They treated me like absolute crap..I went in with an appointment and told them what I wanted done. They made me wait an hour before I got seen.. Then forgot what they were going to do so they tried to force me to get dip when I wanted full set acrylic.They switched me to 4 different people/seats because at this point it was about who is willing to stay late and do my nails and who wasn't. At this pointy they were finally working on my nails but they were being very rude...shouting, be aggressive with my hands, rolling their eyes at me and making me feel very uncomfortable for something I had an appointmemt for (I honestly should've walked out). Then they told me they don't have time to do what I initially wanted so I ended up getting dip with tips.. they asked me to choose a color so I did and they said they didn't have the color so I said I'll just leave, then 2 min later they had the color. They asked what shape I wanted which was coffin they said they would charge me an extra 40 to do it, so I got square. I have never been treated so terrible in ALL my years of getting my nails done. There is beautiful background music floating through the air and funny pet videos on the tv. Appointments or walk-ins available. EDIT 4/2018 Apparently not all pedicure chairs can be used, and at least 1 is broken. My last appt I was sat in a pedi chair, whose back was askew to the right and also slid down onto the seat pan. I told her how uncomfortable it was. The lady yanked and yanked (on either side of me as I sat in it) to no avail. There was another open chair, but we weren't moving. Language barrier? I went to the front counter to explain and I still couldn't figure out why we didn't just change pedi chairs. So, while I had an appt for a pedicure, I didn't get one. I paid for manicure, tipped and left. I followed up with a phone call expressing my disappointment. The response was they were busy. At same appt, the manicurist was rough on me while filing and filed a couple fingertips. The pads not nails. I contacted a different salon that afternoon and won't return here. read more

All the reviews and pictures looked amazing here, I went to my first appointment yesterday and I'm so sad I didn't get the same results... they're not the length or shape I wanted them, they feel bulky as hell on my nails and while Mike was doing them he kept nicking me with the drill on different parts of different nails. My right hand pinky nail was put on so crooked it was very obvious as soon as I straightened out my hand yet he seemed annoyed when I was asking for another bead of acrylic be put on either a side or re-laid across the whole nail. He reluctantly did it after some time of filing down all the nail below as I was asking him to please stop filing because the nail was only getting more crooked. The rest of my nails were also crooked as far as the filing job and when I pointed out that the tips were very slanted he rolled his eyes and said something under his breath. They ended up WAY shorter than I wanted, I actually hate the way they look so much on my hands. The color isn't what I wanted but they didn't have any other nude bases that were less pink. I originally wanted medium length, narrow square/ almost coffin shaped nails w a nude base coat and black sparkles painted on. I got short square nails that are misshaped, painted very ugly and lumpy, it's gel paint so it's cured that way now and to top it off he charged me $50 for this? I know salon prices are going up and I'm prepared to pay for my nails but I had just been nicked on almost every finger, had to point out a lot of things on my nails that would've been left as they were had I not, and the paint is lumpy!!! This just is NOT worth $50! I'm not going to be returning, to me it was simply a huge waste of my time and money. I want to go to someone to fix the nails but seeing as they were already $50 for this I'm feeling I'll just have to wait it out. I hate them, and I'm so upset I even wasted my money on this when even a press on set would've caused me less trouble ‍ read more
