I have been serviced by many different technicians at Gelish and they never disappoint! The service is always punctual, professional and of high quality. By far my favorite nail salon in Tucson!
I had set up two appointments for a pedicure today for my mom and I (9am aka right when they open). Two different ladies did our pedicures which was okay. The lady that did my pedicure (white) kept insisting that I should do gel polish as well as my mom. We ended up not doing gel polish and did regular nail polish. When the lady did my nails she never asked if the shape looked good to me nor did the lady that did my mom's nail asked either. The regular nail polish was super dry that you can see the streaks on my white nails. The lady shaped them extremely crooked and the corners of my toe nails are sharp as well as my mom's. You can tell that in my mom's pedicure (coral pink) her big toe nails are distinctly different. The nails look disproportional overall. I believe we could have done them better at home honestly. This is the last time I'll ever be coming back.
I'm convinced I could come here with any idea and the nail techs would execute it flawlessly. This is the place to go to if you want acrylics and nail art. I recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends.
$170 for gel mani and pedi???? Never again. This is ridiculous. My toes have polish this time b/c I'm tired of spending my hard earned time and money for sub par work. I was told "pay for a Tier II tech if you want better service" What? $60 for this and I look like a child slapped polish on my skin and toes? I was told to - leave nail glue on my calluses because it is "liquid band aid" ???? These are my toes directly when I got home from Gelish. Sent pics to owner. Arrogant and RUDE. Nope. Tucson. Get smart-
Absolutely love Gelish! I was referred by a friend and I'm so happy with it. I usually see Emily and I love her work. She is quick, efficient, talented, and sweet. Another tech, David, sits next to her and he's hilarious. I love that they take appointments and send reminder text messages. But they also take walk-ins if that's more your vibe.
I have been going here for approximately three years. This is my favorite place to go in Tucson until today. I drive 40 mins out everytime just because I love this place. However today I had an appointment and was told the tier 2 I requested didn't have time to do my nails. I'm not usually too picky however it was how he said it to me and then I was put with a tier 1 which I don't mind however she couldn't fully do what I was asking for. It did still turn out well. But scheduling an appointment and being told you don't have time for me is wild!!!
I paid $71 on October first for a hard gel fill, fixing one fingers uneven tip which in the end was filed off anyways. Within 48 hours I began feeling my nails lift and peel from the hard gel. I have never had this issue. After a few more days it began to be intolerable as I now have 5 nails that have water trapped under them, bending and chipping from lifting off of the set I got here on October first. I reached out to the salon in hopes of a refund seeing it had only been five days since my set and five nails are incredibly damaged from this salon. The salon replied stating they do not offer refunds but would be happy to soak them off for free. I am obviously not impressed with this answer and am quite offended seeing I paid $71 plus $10 cash tip for a seemingly wonderful set just for the set to immediately ruin my natural nails. They replied they do not offer refunds and it is "clearly stated" and sent me a picture of their menu after I explained it is in fact not clearly stated anywhere in the salon or on their Facebook or Instagram sites. Their services that THEY listed for THEIR business on Facebook do not include the refund policy, which they claim is on the service list. I explained I booked with them after viewing their reviews and both Facebook and Instagram, and then texted exactly what I wanted based on asking if they offered hard gel sets. I showed up to my appointment, was checked in and sat down never offered a menu. Their small menu is the only place that shows their refund policy-it is not listed on any of their sites that they own and operate, nor clearly in their salon like it has to be via state Arizona law. It is only listed on a menu that is apparently only offered if you ask. Not to new or returning customers, so it is incredibly deceptive to operate like this especially when customers pay nearly $100 for a set that is meant to last 3-4 weeks but only lasted two days before the set was completely defective. Water is now stuck under my nails, my index, middle, ring, pinky and thumb fingernails are lifting and chipping, and their only solution is to let them touch my nails again after ruining them after not offering a menu which is the only place this refund policy is mentioned-again against law. It MUST be offered to customers if not posted clearly, plainly and publicly for customers to see as they are in the salon. Deceptively running their business. Extremely unfortunate and will be disputing this with my bank and NOT returning. I recommend to take your business elsewhere to avoid destroying your natural nails and spending your hard earned money somewhere where they are not deceptive and value their customers by operating with integrity. Now I have to go pay a different salon to remove my nails and then pay for a new set from a new salon, losing just as much money if not more than I paid for this set that lasted less than TWO DAYS. Sort the reviews to newest. This is a reoccurring issue with this business and their quality of services, and they do not do anything to fix it aside from offer to remove poor quality services and then keep your money. Photos were from my nails when I was showing my sister how they are visibly damaged, water is now trapped and how my hair is getting caught on five of my fingers because the nails are lifting on the edges. Not even on their verified yelp page do they mention the refund policy. Not their own Facebook that they operate, nor Instagram that they operate, nor yelp. It is not posted when you walk in. The only place this policy is "posted" is a menu you must request-it is not offered or freely available. It is not posted on any of their personal business accounts or mentioned upon booking.
I got the idea for the summer multi-colors from Pinterest and they were able to match it exactly. So fun! They are always very friendly and helpful. The salon is always clean and smells good!

I drive all the way from sahuarita because she always gets my nails exactly the way I want while providing me options and patience. Lol I'm super picky and she still makes me feel welcomed and invited and understood! 10/10 recommend Gelish and especially Paulina! Here's just an idea of my pretty nails she's created , love them and can't wait to recreate
Gelish never disappoints!! The salon is exceptionally clean, super sanitary, and beautiful. Not to mention the customer service is 100%. I started coming to this salon a little over a year ago after a recommendation from a friend. I found other salons were damaging my nails, thinning them, and drilling them down to the point where they hurt. I drive 35-40 minutes to come to the salon and look forward to my appts with Paulina. She not only executes my vision, but I feel like she takes the time to get to know her clients and what nail styles (art included) works best for them. I also found with just a few appointments my nails became healthy again. Highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. The owner has an inflated ego and doesn't seem to believe in treating loyal, recurring customers with respect. When I first moved here, I chose this salon based on decent reviews, but the reality is quite different. They consistently mismanage their scheduling, so you end up waiting for your appointment. The service itself is subpar, and the prices are outrageously high for what you get. I've had much better results at smaller, more affordable salons. For instance, I paid $70 for a basic French tip set, nothing extra, and one of the nails broke the very next day. When I asked for it to be fixed, the owner blamed me for the issue and refused to offer any solution, including a refund. Overall, the service was terrible, and the nails didn't even last. Got my nails done a week and a couple days ago and they're still holding strong especially after a total of 40+hrs of waitressing and general day to day activities. My nails are gelX and mermaid theme The pictures don't do the glitter and colors justice. The nails a truly magical the nail technician named Chi did an AMAZING job! Fast and clean application did a great job of replicating the vibes I wanted for my nails and most of all was really kind and friendly This is my second time getting my nails professionally done but I had a great time and am very satisfied with the results definitely recommend and will definitely come back The only thing I regret is not taking more photos before getting a huge bruise on my hand read more

I was able to walk it and seated right away, I had a mani pedi, it was very clean and all tools that were used were in clean packaging and gave me a piece of mine. My nail tech helped me pick out the color and gave her best honest opinion that I loved. 10/10 I would recommend. read more

I loved everything about Gelish! I came in with a picture and 2 associates helped to find the perfect matching colors. David did my nails. His attention to detail and want to make sure that I loved them every step of the way was really comforting and my nails came out EXACTLY how I wanted them! It's been hard for me to find a nail tech that will be gentle with my sensitive hands and sculpt my nails exactly the way I like while providing artistic flair. Thank you David and & Team Gelish for making me feel welcome, appreciated, seen and providing a clean and fun environment to be in. Y'all are amazing! read more

This is my first time here, and I was able to be squeezed in for a last minute appointment. This establishment is clean. Service is very friendly. In addition, there are many options for nail colors, types of polish, and designs. My manicure was done by Paulina. I already had short nails but she was able to nicely shape them to be squared. My pedicure was done by Toy, who definitely managed my cuticles well! This place is a little bit more expensive compared to other nail salons, but there is quality service here. I would recommend this place. In addition, I would recommend booking an appointment in advance since it can get busy here. read more

Gelish has got to be the BEST nail salon in Tucson! The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it's so much fun to see them interact with each other and the clients. The salon is very well-kept and sanitary. My nails turn out absolutely incredibly every time! I had Jason and he did such an incredible job. Easily the best french tips I've ever gotten! I suggest making a reservation (the process is easy, call or text) and getting there early so you have time to pick your color (so many to choose from!) and relax in their cute lobby. I came in for gel pedicure and acrylic manicure and was met with the best service I've had at a nail salon in Tucson. My pedicure tech, Thoi, took her time and was incredibly kind and gentle. The results were great and are sure to last me quite some time. I had both Anna and Tracy work on my nails and they were more than accommodating to listen to and address my concerns. They have great Covid-19 safety precautions in place as every customer must wear a mask and decent social distancing was enforced. I loved my time here at Gelish and can't wait to return! read more

Today was my first visit. My friends urged me to try this place out, sooo glad I did. Best nail salon I've ever been to! The staff was super friendly and personable. The salon was very clean. They gave me exactly what I wanted. Worth very penny. Their prices are very fair for the quality and time they put into your nail experience. I highly recommend you book an appointment. They are usually booked and appointments are preferred. I noticed that most of the patrons in the salon were repeat customers so that was a great sign. My nail tech Tracy was awesome!!! I will definitely be a repeat customer. Tips: Follow their Instagram to see their work (I picked my design from their insta. All super pretty) Book appointment Join their rewards club They have an ATM to get cash for tips *they only except tips via Venmo or cash (Using Venmo to tip is super easy, just scan their QR code conveniently at their station) read more

Such an adorable and charming nail salon! I had a wonderful and gentle pedicure. I say gentle because I've had rough experiences lately at my usual spot and ventured off to try Gelish this time. The decor is adorable, they took a lot of time to make this place look amazing! Everything was spotless. The music was fun. They had a very mellow relaxing vibe. Great natural light in the space. My pedicure was $30 and I'd gladly pay that again. My pedicure didn't feel rushed and attention was paid to detail. Summer is likely a great time to book with them while the students are gone. They were slower, but still had a steady trickle of patrons walking in. Booking was seamless over the phone. Give this new small business a try. Can't wait to go back when I'm ready for a manicure. read more

Yes, that's what I had done. Beautiful job and great price.
Do they offer GelX?
I'm not sure of that brand but they do carry several good brands. You can text them to ask. The number to text is on their website.

They absolutely having dipping powder and many colors to choose from. They have all the latest nail products and they are fantastic at doing them all.
Do they take walk ins?
They do take walk ins however they stay so busy with appointment customers that it is definately recommended you make an appointment. They are awesome and do awesome work.
Are prices listed anywhere online?
Don't have a list of prices, but my gel manicure and regular pedicure was $60 total.
