Probably one of the worst salons I've been too. An elderly woman with an attitude did my gel manicure and because of her, I'd NEVER revisit this establishment. It took for a gentleman, whom I presume is the manager, to direct her for simple requests and tell her what to do. This lady cut my fingers, attempted to leave my hands n arms soaking wet after applying a warm towel w/ loads of lotion still on them, then told me I need to walk to the other end of the salon to get a paper towel to dry off. Absolutely not!, the gentleman handed me a cloth. You could literally wring the water from towel and the hand massage was well below satisfactory. The new owner is very rude. He kept charging me for his employees mishaps. I asked them to give me a new set. They pushed me on just a fill two days later my nails cracked went in to get them redone. They charge me they cracked again, so I went to another nail salon who didn't have the exact colors so I went back to nails and more only for him to charge me again for one nail. I spent $20 yes I'm the dumb one but I've been to the shop for over 15 years. I've been through countless owners or should I say renters of the building and this is by far the worst man. Worst place ever ! My cousin went earlier today in the day and she got the 35$ pedi with gel in total they charged her 46$ (10$ for gel) they would've charged her 48 but they dropped it to 46. I went their today and they charged me 77$!!! When I just got the 35$ pedi the girl told me it's was (18$) for gel I knew she was lying cause no nail salon ever charged that much plus I got my eyebrows and mustache waxed and two acrylics on only two of my big toes they should've charged me around 60. I give it 2 stars because I was not impressed about my experience. Ive been one time, & to pay $100 for a mani & pedi is definitely NOT a problem, but the quality of my nails is the problem. I have only had them on for a week now & my nails have already chipped , cracked or just flat out broke all the way off. This is literally the worst salon I've ever been to. I've had my nails for 4 days, they have chipped and changed colors. I asked for an oval shape and they gave me the ugliest shape i have teardrops for nails. They filed my nails so much they were sore for 2 days after. Their pedicures feel more like someone took a piece of sandpaper and attached it to a power drill. Do not recommend. read more

Got a french manicure done at Nails and More because my first-choice salon was booked. The salon was full when I arrived and it continued to have an influx of customers, which is a good sign. Considering that I pay just as much here as I do at my regular salon, I was holding Nails and More to the same standards. While the end result of the manicure looked very good, there were other things that I think could have been improved to earn 4-5 stars. Facility: The interior is very modest and is not as well-kept as other salons-- 2.5/5 stars Service: My technician seemed very rushed and sighed several times during the process. I understand the job may be taxing but you really don't want your customers to feel unwelcome. Another customer came in when I was there and she was complaining about the color on her nails changing. The lead technician sat her down immediately and gave her a free re-do, which I was impressed by. 3-4/5 stars Misc: The massage was good but they don't offer options for the lotion. My technician was a little rough with the filing but that relates to the rush I mentioned earlier. Overall, they get the job done, but you could probably pay the same at another salon and receive better care during the manicure. I'll visit only as a second option. read more

I came here on a whim to get my acrylics taken off and just wanted to put shellac on. I'm SO glad I did!! The ladies were really nice, I forget who I had but she did such a great job. Gentle but efficient with the drill, she kept my nails in tact and they are way long after 2 months of acrylics. No bleeding, no lint, no streaks, and all the edges were painted evenly. I took my mother and sister here the Friday after Mother's day. My mom received a mani and pedi (which BOTH is only $30 in total... which is an amazing price!) and my sister and I both had pedicures. I was incredibly embarrassed because I was completely unprepared to get a pedicure (it was a spur of the moment decision) and my legs and feet were absolutely grotesque. I'm a mother of two (one under the age of 1) and so I don't have a lot of time to give my feet TLC. The wonderful lady that did my feet reassured me that it was completely fine. She made me feel completely comfortable. Besides that, my toe nail polish is still completely intact almost 4 weeks later! I will be definitely going back! Great prices, kind and friendly staff, and a clean facility! Just to add: To kinda touch on (not take away from though) that one star review about the owner taking in walk-ins... She does indeed take walk-ins (and a lot of them) but she seemed pretty organized when I went in, and quite a lot of people came in (both walk in and appointment). We were waiting a little before my sister and I got our pedi's but it wasn't an unreasonable amount of time-- at least not to me. The people that were coming in that were scheduled to be there seemed to be getting seated almost right away after walking in considering how busy it was. On the other hand I could definitely see how easy it could be for the place to get overwhelmingly full to the point that even those that make appointments aren't tended to in a timely manner, however, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Great place. I scheduled an appointment because it was a holiday the next day and I could see when I first came they get busy. The women who did my nails were very friendly and professional. Two ladies did a great job on my manicure and pedicure for my wedding. I scheduled to get my eyebrows done the next day and when I did the woman who did my fingernails insisted on redoing a few toenails for perfection at no cost (I thought they looked fine, but I thought that was very thoughtful of her). Came in for mani pedi yesterday. The only problem was that I was asked if I wanted my nails cut for the mani and I said just a little to shape them, well the first cut she made went all the way down. The woman next to her heard me say that it was shorter than I wanted and she then told me that my manicurist did not speak English well. That's fine but then don't ask me a question in English and continue on if you're not %100 sure you understand... I was then asked if I wanted all of the other nails to remain long which was not the point of my speaking up. I wanted her to know that she did something that directly contradicted my answer. I had her finish chopping of my nails I grew out for weeks. Oh well, my nails were short but they were still nicely painted. But today, I woke up with a throbbing pain in my big toe... after further inspection, my toe nail edge was cut way too low and I can see the nail bed. Did I mention the throbbing pain? Later in the day a pus pocket built up. This is unacceptable to me. I do not frequently get my nails done but I feel like cutting off the lateral portion of someone's toenail is common knowledge that that sets up a situation for ingrown toenails. And clearly infections! I'm not happy and now I'm in pain. read more

worst nail salon i've ever been to. terrible work. terrible customer service. Went in for a fill and a design change, i picked a design from their albums because the one i initially wanted they couldn't do. I was given a price from a lady (owner) of arond $20-25 that i agreed to. (design was on all finger nails like it was on the picture). She sends me over to one of the tables, the girl starts filing and removing the desing I had then. When she starts shaping the nail for the refill the other lady (owner) comes and tells me is extra $ to shape the nail. She does the refill and when she asks about the design, they start talking to each other and again the lady comes over and says the price she gave me was for the design on 2 fingernail per hand and not the whole hand like it was on the picture. I ended up paying $50 for a refill that lasted less than a week. Nail polish (with gel coat) started chipping and coming off on the 3-4 day. 5th day 2 nails cracked (one broke), 6th day a nail comes off completely. I go in to request a refund. The lady tells me they don't do refunds. I tell her she needs to do something to resolve the issue and she starts blaming me for my nails not lasting. I explain to her that i don't do any work that could do such damage to nails. I'm a cashier, (how can a computer damage my nails so badly in a few days). She keeps blaming me and completely refuses to do anything about it. She talks to me in a mocking tone the whole time and even ignores me for a while. I do NOT recommend this place, not worth your time or your money. I would give them no stars if I could. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for about 3 years now and am very happy with the services. I know other reviews mention the simpleness of the salon but personally I enjoy the intimate atmosphere and humble furnishings. Proof that you don't have to go somewhere that is glam and $$$$ to get beautiful work done. I love that the ladies and gentleman are all friendly and that many are greeted by name as they walk in the door no matter how busy it can get. Proof that many are regulars. They always welcome walk ins but I generally make an appointment because I like to use the same tech and I know that she can get busy and booked up. I like to use multiple colors and get designs on several nails and she has always given me beautiful art even when I wasn't able to be clear about what design I wanted.
