The quality of my pedicure is also impressive, I have been to top salons high and low and they are def the only place who meets my needs of clean painted while toes and shaped perfectly square. I was visiting a friend the week of Thanksgiving and she brought me here to get my nails done. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I am very picky when it comes to my nails and the lady (who I believe is the owner) that did my nails exceeded my expectations. The quality and detail of her work was exceptional. I got so many compliments on my nails. It is now January and I still have my nails. I have had two fills since then, but the nails have lasted. Usually when I get my nails done elsewhere I'm lucky if I can at least make it past 1 fill. I would recommend this place. Just wish she were out here in California where I live. read more

I went here for the first, and last time. It looks great on the inside, very clean and the tech was nice too.. I guess (she didn't talk much). I just came in for the dip on my nails. All she did was file them down (hard) and put new dip over the old!!! They were pretty from the top, but too thick! I hated them. Do not go here. They do not follow the proper steps for acrylic and she used dipping powder as acrylic powder and put it on with the acrylic liquid. Basically burned all of my cuticles after taking the filing drill directly to them while trying to get off parts of the dipping powder that she had smeared all over my cuticles. I had to direct her how to file my nails as she left them so uneven and bumpy. She then filed my nails a ridiculous amount, and to finish it off put Base Coat and then Top coat over the dipping powder so now I can see all of the filing marks on my nails. I'll never go back to river nails for a manicure of any sort. We made an appointment for 2 people, mani and pedi. They got started right away on my aunts nails and I sat there for 30 minutes. They only had 2 people working. The lady started my nails after she had prepped my aunts nails for shellac. My aunt's shellac nails were super thick, they put on way too many layers. I got dip nails and the lady did NOT use the correct process. She did the priming and color ok and then proceeded to put GEL nail top cover on it twice. You should never need to use a UV light for dip nails. Not only do my nails look disgustingly thick but the color isn't even whatsoever, it fades in certain spots but not others. The pedicure was very nice, they do a lot more than some of the salons do for their "basic" pedicure. read more

Appalled at the price. $70 for a full set of the thickest acrylic nails I have ever seen in my life. Almond shaped? Some are round almonds and others are sharp almonds. The colors are nothing like I showed the tech on a picture. The nails were barely shaved down, super thick, and to top off they are wavy looking,, totally uneven. The nails are painted even past the cuticles. The tech was nice, the atmosphere nice as well. The work for the price, crap... and I MEAN CRAP!!!!! The owners here are kind, attentive and make an effort to get to know you and pay attention to what you want. I've been here multiple times now and it looks like management has recently changed but for a cheap fast pedi/mani, they're pretty darn good! I was very pleased with the spa pedi and their attention to detail. I was paying close attention to their sanitation efforts which were excellent. The tools they used were stainless steel and were pre-sanitized. They also cleaned out the tubs the minute we were done so I was confident that everything was clean and ready for us when we came in as well. The family running it seems to all work together. The little boy brought us water, the mother and father do just about anything and their older teen daughter and son do the mani/pedi's and painting. They all did a great job and the place was full like it usually is. I gave it a 3 because of the surroundings. It's somewhat cold and boring. Their idea of relaxing music was certainly not mine and it was physically cold as well as all white walls cold. The definitely need to work on the interior design a bit. read more

Really not the worst place I've ever been to but definitely won't be coming back. Quality: the nails look okay by the end of it. A little bit uneven in places but not super noticeable. A little irritated that they already look kinda grown out but really not worst. She took her time and really tried to make them perfect. Shape and length are great. She cut me in a few spots but nothing major. Price: The advertised price said full set starts at $25+ and i wanted a gel colour so i figured my normal full sets are around $35-$45 and it would be around there. Maybe. I just wanted a clear sparkle colour, nothing crazy. She asked if she could do the colour in the powder and i said fine thinking maybe they do things differently here. My mistake was not asking if it was extra. Anyway, for a cuticle trim, full set and clear top coat ~~ $60 including a $5 tip. Definitely NOT what i was expecting. Definitely not $60 quality. Overall, I'm somewhat satisfied w the job but don't think they were worth the price. I was looking for a place to go closer to my house than driving east side but I guess I'll stick to my spot for now. read more
