Positives: the massage chairs are amazing and there are cute little divider curtains between the chairs (I guess for if people want privacy) My pedicure itself was good (nothing special, seemed a little quicker than pedis I've had in the past, I was in and out in 30 minutes). I just wanted a basic pedi (charged $30) as I knew I'd be getting a gel pedi in not too long and regular polish usually lasts quite a while before chipping. Once I was already driving, I thought back that I didn't notice her apply any topcoat. I'm not 100% sure so just figured I'd put a topcoat on at home. Forty (or maybe 50) minutes after I left there, I took my sandals and put on a pair of socks. When I took off my socks later, I was shocked that the polish was stuck to the socks. My toenails have a weird smudgy/thick bumpy texture now and I just noticed they're already chipping :( (I've had many pedis from other places and have never had this issue) read more

I've been going to this business EXCLUSIVELY for 4 years now. It's a few blocks from my house and super convenient. I've been getting my nails done for 16 years consistently, every two to three weeks and I've NEVER had issues like this before. Back in August I noticed that I got 4 of my toes infected after a "polish change " because I never get pedicures. However, for a polish change they still use tools like nail trimmer, and files. Well about two weeks later my toes were red and I could barely walk from the pain of having two toes on each foot infected. I decided ok I'm never getting my toes done there again, but I'll continue getting my fills done. Haven't had issues yet... (this was 08/2023). It took 3 months for the toes to heal and the infection to clear out. Two weeks ago I got a fresh new set, and a 5 days ago my pinky started to hurt. Well this morning I noticed that there's PUS coming out of the corner or my finger. I'm done. So done. Don't come here. They use the same tools over and over again. Not once have I seen them put them in a sterilizer or use a new fresh set of tools in 4 years. Save yourself the hassle, drive a little further and find somewhere else. read more

Came here because my go to place was busy. A good chunk of my thumb was cut when filing the sides. The person acknowledged my cut from them, and used a tool that looked like it still had skin in it to cut off the flapping skin on my thumb. 50$ later and I wish I would have just waited for my usual place. I had an appointment which I was 10 minutes late to because I slipped and fell in my home. When I arrived, Tiffany walked over to me, looked at the clock,and said I was late so she could not do me. She smiled as if she got enjoyment out of rejecting me! She didn't bother to asked if I wanted to reschedule or not, she just walked away. I stopped going to them once before because I noticed that when they did pedicures on women of color, they used gloves. They didn't on the others! This place is so unprofessional. These women yell and speak their language, which makes some customers uncomfortable! I went to another spa on speedway, and I noticed when the nail tech had something to say, she walked up to the other tech and quietly has a conversation. Made my appointment once I arrived 5 minutes early was seated right away. The decor is really nice. They have a large flat screen tv Where are you could watch from Any seat. Not sure of the lady who did my pedicures name, but she was very personable! She took one look at my toes and asked if I wanted my ingrown nail to be cut out which I thought was a nice add-on to the service. She took her time massaging my feet and did a really good job at it. They sell facemasks black and white two per pack for only five dollars, really nice facemasks. They were all out but they offered to call me once they come in and they're washable up to 30 times and loop around the ears. Very nice place will definitely be going back. read more

I frequent Serenity at least twice a month for manicures and pedicures. I have gotten many of my friends hooked on Serenity as well! Even my husband will get a pedicure with me at times! In the many years I have been a customer, there was only one time that I was less than satisfied (maybe 4 years ago?) and Kelly worked to rectify the situation. People are always greeted at the door. Most have appointments, but they do their best to accommodate walk ins. They do a fantastic job! My pedicures always last. This year I started getting dip manicures. I have never had the dip last several weeks without chipping or cracking. They have really perfected the technique! The salon is always clean. They use liners and disinfectant between clients. I can't recommend Serenity enough! I love this place! read more

Have been going to Serenity nail spa for about 2 and a 1/2 years now. I go about once a month. 1st, the salon is very clean and I have never had a problem with any sort of sanitary issues. 2nd They do a great job. For years I did my own pedicures and if I clipped the wrong way I got ingrown nails. I have not had an ingrown since I started going here. 3rd. On the rare occasion I have had a problem with a product that doesn't stay on my nails, they always make it right if I bring it to their attention. 4th. It helps to have a reservation, and they are very accommodating even when you don't have an appointment. However, keep in mind that Sunday is often their busiest day so call 1st if you don't have an appointment. Last, Maybe the thing I like the most is that everybody works as a team. If someone doesn't have something to do they look around and will take care of a customer or start cleaning. They work really hard to make sure that you get a nice spa treatment, and they try to get you in-and-out in a timely manner also. read more

I come and get pampered at Serenity pretty much every two weeks. Relax listening to some great tunes while getting a pedicure and manicure/dip nails and sometimes even my brows get waxed. The vibe is great. I haven't been coming here very long I followed my nail tech Bonnie. I can reassure you every nail tech here is friendly and professional. I love this place! I've been going here the last 6 years and they always do a great job with my acrylic sets. Wendy is my favorite she is incredibly sweet and professional. Lin is also very artistic and the one who did this set that I'm obsessed with. The rest of the staff is usually friendly and welcoming and their shop is always kept clean which is a huge attraction for me. They have also never hurt me or made my nails bleed like other places and I've never gotten an infection from here. Highly recommend! read more

I came in with my 13 year daughter to get powder dip yesterday and took both of our nails off within 24 hours after being so unhappy with the way they turned out. Kent the nail tech who did my nails was clearly in a rush and put my desires aside to get the job done quickly. My daughter was almost in tears after seeing how hers turned out nothing like she wanted or asked for. What was supposed to be a fun bonding experience for my daughter and I was nothing close to that. We both walked out unhappy with the customer service, our nails and the overall experience. The girls are rude and rushed through getting my fill when there was barely anybody else in there which resulted in some poorly done nails with a very thin layer of top coat and when i noticed but still inside the store waiting for my nails to dry, the girl was no where to be seen. I have only been here twice and the first time, the nail technician made fun of my nails and was laughing as she was doing my set, but the nails came out rather ok. All the staff are very professional and friendly, they will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Serenity Nail Spa was ok, I guess, but I likely won't be back anymore. It's certainly no where near as clean and fancy as many of these reviews seem to say it is. If you just glance, it seems fine, but when you get closer to surfaces, you can see how run down things are, and that some stuff is a little bit grungy. The UV machines were especially nasty to me. I really didn't want to put my hands in them since they clearly are never wiped down. Ugh. I'm just not comfortable having my skin cut up during a manicure and then have to go touch surfaces that any unsanitary slob has potentially touched. My own fault for trying gel this time, I guess. Meh. Speaking of that last manicure I got, it was just a mediocre job. The polish ended up on my cuticles and fingertips. It didn't look particularly neat, but from afar, it was ok. Back to the cleanliness issues. This was the first time I was in the waxing area and it was even worse than the mani/pedi area. Oh my. I won't ever step foot in there again, and it's my breaking point. It solidified my skepticism about the other cleanliness issues that I thought I was just overreacting about at times. The waxing table was covered with a bunch of dirty towels. Instead of using a clean towel for the head rest, they just flipped over the dirty one that was already on there. I decided to lay on my purse. The floor had dead moths on it and their containers of supplies didn't seem to be so clean, either. Their prices were fine. The girls were nice, but on this visit, they were very interested in trying to get me to purchase other services that I didn't want or need at all. I pretty much got guilted into waxing my eyebrows. I just don't think I'll be back here based on the fact that I feel like it's not very sanitary. I need a place like this to exude cleanliness. You can get some pretty nasty stuff during manicures and pedicures if things aren't sterile. Bottom line: I can find a cleaner place without having to drive more than two extra minutes, and the prices will be the same. read more

I went in for a pedicure with my husband on Mother's Day to relax and we were there for over TWO HOURS because they kept going to other people. They kept adding on extra services without asking us, and finally we said we had to leave as we were running for a funeral so please wrap it up. I've been meaning to post a review for quite some time now. I've been getting my mani, pedi, & eyebrows waxed at this location for about 6 months now. I absolutely love them! The salon is super clean. Everyone has their own expectation of clean but it meets mine. The surfaces are clean... The tools as well. They even offer a one time charge of $5 so you can reserve your own tool set ! Pretty neat if you don't like using the tools previously used on someone else. They even offer free drinks. We're not talking water, but soda and I believe Gatorade .. For FREE! The ladies there are phenomenal. They make small talk and I can tell by the times I've been there that they get to know their customers and their needs/wants. Every time I have gone, there have been more then one "loyal" customer. I've even seen ladies who were getting ready for a wedding! The entire atmosphere is warming. Not like some places where you sit in silence. The work is phenomenal too. I was deployed overseas and my feet and hands were a disaster. And the ladies helped them get back to their original form. They also help you find any color you're looking for. Being military I'm very limited and the ladies have done such a great job looking at the pictures on my phone of examples and finding exactly want I wanted. I've never had an issue with my eyebrows either. They are on "fleek". Everyone has their own experience and based on the reviews some people weren't fond of the place. I requested one of their speciality pedicures. In the end what i received was nothing more than a regular pedicure. When they finished I figured the tech forgot. They got up and moved on to the manicure station to work on other customers. I was thinking to myself, oh well, so i just got a regular pedicure, good enough, i can live with it. Much to my surprise when i got ready to pay they charged me for the specialty pedicure for the additional cost. When i insisted i had not received the special pedicure, only the regular they refused to acknowledge that. No discussion, no apology, no explanation whatsoever. I suggested this place to my mother based on it's yelp reviews. Boy, was THAT a mistake ! It's not as clean as everyone claims it to be, and it's pretty run-down looking compared to other shops in the area. My mom said that the tech kept raving about how she's been doing nails for like 9 years.... Well, lady, I'm surprised you still have a job. All she went in for was a fill. Simple, quick, nothing dramatic. Well, it took about 50 minutes all together, which is ridiculous. Also, the end result looked as if it was the person's FIRST TIME doing fills. Unevenness, gaps, just a horrid job. To top it off, they're a total rip off. My mom didn't have anymore time to waste to stick around and complain. But, we'll definitely never be back OR recommend them to anyone. We used to do nails. I'm not criticizing because I think I'm better.
