I would recommend them for waxing. I never get my nails done here because the I last time I got my nails here they did not turn out the way I like, but I've never had any issues with the wax. Literally the worst pedicure I've gotten! 2 people traded off (one seemed new maybe) didn't clean my cuticles, hardly even cleaned my nails/sides, and didn't file or trim my nails at all! The tech hurt the top of my toes by filing my skin and they were hardly paying attention. Mostly (and I watched all of them do this) watched the movie on the tv the whole time and not paying attention to the customer. The girl next to me asked if they have a salt scrub, making it clear she wanted one and the guy (who seemed to be in charge) said they dont have those. - the pedicure option sheet was right in front of me and clearly shows "salt scrub". She then asked if they no longer give leg massages because they were about to send her off without one. My toes look terrible and feel terrible. To top it off, the guy held my card until I signed my receipt! Terrible place for nails! read more

I would normally never leave a bad review to a place and just move on but I don't want someone else to get screwed over like I did. I asked for acrylic before David started on my nails, I actually said I wanted acrylic multiple times. My right pinky is crooked and lifted upwards. he used gel polish and when I asked what he was doing I never got a straight answer. He showed me two different polishes I asked if one was more expensive than the other and all I got in response was "this one lasts longer" I repeated my question and got the same answer. I got irritated because my aunt was paying for them and not me. All of my nails are crooked or shaped wonky. My aunt ended up paying over $50 for something that should've only cost $30 You don't need to use the black light 6 separate times for acrylic nails. before someone says "you could've stopped him from continuing" I mentioned before that I had asked what he was doing several times and all he did was speak in a different language. if I could give 0 stars I would. don't come here if you want your nails a specific way because they won't ever do what you want and you'll end up paying more than you wanted to. read more

I went there this past Sunday with my daughter and it was not a pleasant experience! The workers there were rude and only spoke amongst themselves. We both went in with coffin shaped nails and came out with almost regular square nails. The wouldn't do the simple cow design on my daughter's nails because neither of them men working could do it. Yet the 2 ladies giving pedicures could have but the man doing my daughter's nails told her very rudely the ladies were too busy and he couldn't do it! They over charged me for my pedicure, when I asked them why they charged 60$ to my card instead of 45$ they acted like they misunderstood. Also, when I asked them to break my twenty in cash, they gave me two 10$ bills, when I asked for four 5 dollars bills, and when I asked to break the ten to tip, they acted offended. I came in as a walk-in so I did expect a wait. The person at the front greeted me promptly and asked what I wanted and said okay we will get you in. I then sat and waited and waited. People left, stations were cleaned and I thought then someone would let me know how much longer etc. another 20 minutes passed by (45 total with 0 interaction) and I was getting hungry and tired so I got up to leave and then the man who initially greeted me said they would do my pedi now. I said okay and then waited another 10 minutes. I finally got seated and the woman who did my pedi was nice but very slow and cut into the side of my big toe at one point. I ended up being there from 424 to 645. The facility was not very clean, the chairs were very worn and not comfortable. The pedicure I got was not even and I had to file chips and jagged parts off some nails after I went home. Other issues: the TV was blaring news the entire time and the woman kept turning the massage on when I asked her not to. The chairs had no padding so it felt like I was getting punched in the back. This was also more expensive than most places in Tucson for the same or similar services. I definitely will not be back. read more

Had a pedicure & manicure done last week and the nail tech left my feet butchered & covered in cuts from the file plus cut my nail so short that it bled all over. When I got home, my shoe was covered in blood. 3 of the places under my toes are so torn up and infected that I've had to use antibiotic for the past 5 days and they still aren't healed. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

I went in the first time with my mom and I noticed two black ladies coming in, they told them they didn't have time and they left. After, two white ladies came in and they told them to wait. (Both set of ladies wanted a full set so why not let the black ladies get their set?) We gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back the second time. Then, a black lady came in and was told that there was no time. After, a white lady came in and was told to wait. This was when I realized it was them being racist and my mom and I left immediately. They accept walk-ins but it'd be in your best interest to call ahead for wait times or make an appointment. I gave this nail salon a good rating a few years ago when I was going there frequently. I stopped going here because the staff started getting rude with me. Luckily I moved to another part of Tucson and went to a great salon. Fast forward three years and I'm now married and we bought a house by Lakeside Park. I went here a few months ago for a pedicure. Against my better judgment. I still felt unwelcome but they did my pedicure. So today, my preferred salon was super busy so I thought I'd try this salon again. It's just a pedicure right? I walk in, and there was ONE person getting a pedicure. The guy asks me what I want and I tell him that I want a pedicure. So then he tells me they have an appointment coming in and they'll only do my pedicure if the other person doesn't show up. He was rude. Even though the window says "walk-ins welcome." I was so pissed I just left. He basically told me to leave but not directly. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS SALON AGAIN. Like I said, they've been rude to me in the past. So screw this salon I'll just stay with my preferred salon! I DO NOT recommend this salon! Maybe it's because I'm WHITE! read more

I have been going to Golf Links Nails for about 5 years now and never had a problem with them until New Years Eve 2018. I had made an appointment for 9 when they open up and did not get seen until after 10. I brought my granddaughter along who is 7 years old and never had her nails done before she was so excited, but Anne one of the owners was doing my granddaughter's nails and yelled at her because she accidentally mess up the design she made on her nail and took the design off and yelled you will not have a design! My granddaughter cried all the way HOME!! AFTER WHAT SHE SAID TO HER!! I have sent a lot of my co-workers and patient parents to that shop and just wanted to let everyone know that I am very dissatisfied with this establishment and will no longer do business there ever again and wanted everyone to know that is not how you treat CUSTOMERS especially a CHILD!!! I literally had a good experience here getting fills. My first two times they did good with the shape, but literally they charge the same price for fills basically for a full set. Their excuse was "my nails were long" which doesn't make sense, but I got over that. Yesterday was my third visit and I got a complete full set. My shape looks horrible and chunky and I kept telling the guy to fix it, but he only filed so much and seemed like he was getting frustrated that I wasn't happy with them. Also, it seems as that they tell you one price for your services but then when it's time to pay they makeup entirely new prices just to hustle you for your money and make up excuses as to why it's so high. My nails were completely the same length of the nails I got soaked off and he said they were longer and charger me extra, which is not cool. I only got a pedicure and a full set and they charged me this time, $73 which is ridiculous and for my fills and pedicure it's never under $60. I hate to leave bad reviews, but tbh don't come here.
