I ordered a hot Crème de la Crème specialty coffee... it was quite good, although what really left an impression on me was the service and the vibes of this place. At the counter, the woman taking our orders was incredibly helpful and patient with us as we had about a million questions regarding the menu. You could tell that the baristas were all friends and seemed to enjoy working there. As for the ambiance - I absolutely loved the design in this place! Found this new to me shopping area. Decided to drive through the parking lot and there is a variety of different places to eat. Korean corn dogs, barbecue chicken, Shabu Shabu bar, and of all things a Hallmark store. Since I was looking for a coffee I went into this cute little place called Goodfellows. It was hard to tell if they were open chairs were stacked up and it looked like they were getting ready to close. But they were open. I ordered a large iced lavender latte. It was very good the coffee taste very smooth. The lavender flavoring was just right. They have some places to sit and charging station. I'm still not clear and if it's a new place or an old place. One thing noticeable was there were some bar stools and they're padded with a cover on them and the cover was all frayed exposing the cushion so I chose not to sit there. They were very comfortable which probably means they get used a lot which is why they're getting worn out. Other than that I like this place I'll get a coffee here again when I'm shopping at the nearby Ralphs. Five stars. read more

Sad to say but I'm definitely never coming here again. My friend and I have loved getting coffee here every Sunday and we look forward to getting our lattes. We had the best experiences with staff and the coffee has been great in the past. However the last two times we've come here the coffee tastes SOUR. I understand maybe the coffee has some fruity notes or different notes added but the latte tastes like SOUR MILK. The first time this happened we had to throw them away after paying 15$ for both coffees. We blamed it on the long lines and felt bad having to ask the barista to remake it. This morning we gave the coffee shop another try and sadly, it still tastes horrible. This time, the shop was not busy and when we asked the barista about it, she said that they change their coffee and that it's due to the flavor of the coffee that they use. Not once did she offer to remake it or at least offer an alternative. I can't speak on their food, but coffee is definitely a BIG NO. read more

I really liked the lounge style seating options and the bar along the window with some of the best power outlets I've ever seen :) The coffee was good, I had a Flat White that was smooth and creamy and my son had the Espresso Ginger Mule. Been coming here for months now. I come here on a regular basis to study. The drinks are great. You can tell the source premium coffee and ingredients. This place is so inconsistent and it makes me very disappointed. I came in with my dog one day (service animal) and they told me no dogs allowed. I left cause I didn't want to get into it. I went again another day with her, I disclosed she was a service dog and still she said no dogs. Then I came a third time, they had no issues with my dog. I came a fourth time and I was denied again. And it's with the same girl. Not sure if she's an owner or something but it's been inconsistent and they don't even come up to you. You open the door and they raise their voice across the cafe. It is our first time here and we love it! In order to gauge our complex taste buds, we ordered the Latte, with no special instruction. They source their beans from Dark Horse Coffee Roasters. Really good and smooth. Taste is mild yet strong enough for me. I like tasting a good shot of espresso on my latte. The milk does not overpower the espresso. Just the right amount of milk to espresso ratio. We also shared a blueberry scone. Cute seating area with nice leather chairs and coffee tables. (even though I like the cushiony love seats and pillow-stacked sofas in some other coffee houses, leather is the way to go! As it is much easier to clean) They stream very chill music. Goes well with our lattes and conversations. Check out the artist Little Dragon if you are curious. Service is super friendly. Looks like they all get along behind the counter *smile* They also have a cooler with additional beverages in case you need a non-coffee drink. We came on a weekday after eating at a Pho place a few doors down (my husband wanted coffee). We paid almost $5 for a very small cup of coffee that didn't taste very good. He was pretty disappointed but pointed out that the cup was a tad bit bigger than another coffee place we went to that also serves coffee in small cups lol. So two stars for that. Came in on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy, which was nice. There was ample seating and the atmosphere was good. We ordered a hot medium cookie butter latte and a hot medium honey lavender latte with a good morning bagel. The bagel was a little hard but I still liked it - it had egg, cheese and bacon. It was $6, which is pretty expected. They ended up giving us a small lavender latte instead of medium, but I didn't say anything after trying it because I didn't really like it. It was very heavy on the syrup. I typically order lavender lattes from coffee shops, and this was probably one of the worst ones I've had. The cookie butter latte was okay, but the cookie butter flavor wasn't really there. I don't like giving bad reviews to small businesses, but this was pretty disappointing. Really bad service. And a bad attitude to go with the bad service. I NEVER leave bad reviews, and I have gone out of my way to leave good reviews. I wish I could take back the tip we pay on the front end, which is somehow supposed to help with service and quality of product on the back end. I guess? Anyway, there was no one here, hardly any customers, so there wasn't even an excuse. EDIT to address the response: My complaint at the time was that my *$7.50 coffee was served cold, and I politely asked if it could be microwaved as a solution, since all I wanted was a hot coffee, and I wasn't trying to be difficult. I waited at least 15 minutes, and I didn't mind the wait. I checked in twice to see if it was ready. The third time was the charm. It was sitting on the counter with no lid, and they said they called it 5 times. It must have been 5 times in 30 seconds because I'd literally just checked in a minute before. Also the other drink I was waiting for still wasn't ready, so there's that, as well. I think it's reasonable to expect a gourmet coffee to be served hot. What I got back from the barista (?) manager (?) was rude attitude. That's when I mentioned that the tip I gave at purchase was with the expectation that I would be provided good service, and that I wished I could take it back. I didn't actually request my tip back, but I'm not mad that *you say* it's been refunded, that's for sure. As of now, I don't see it reflected on my card, but if you say it's true, I'll take you at your word. Still not coming back. I can get good coffee almost anywhere else, and I can't remember ever having anything close to this horrible experience anywhere else. read more

Excellent Espresso & Tonic. Probably the best one I had so far in terms of fizzy espresso drinks. Better than Platonic Fizz at Dripp, or Fizzy Americano at Moongoat. The presentation was beautiful with separate layers of espresso and tonic, and topped off with an orange peel, which really heightened the flavor of this drink. I haven't tried anything else yet, but this drink alone will keep me coming back here. Service was excellent, and the barista really seemed passionate about crafting the drinks. For those not looking for any fancy coffee drinks, this place has regular drip coffee as well. It serves Peerless Coffee for drip coffee. Happy hour from 4 p.m.-7 p.m., 20% off total order. After scrolling through Yelp, Goodfellows caught my eye. I ended up coming on Monday during happy hour (4-7pm!). It wasn't very busy, so parking was easy and there was no wait. Luke took my order and he was friendly and helpful with describing the drinks. I ended up ordering the Chagaccino since I've never heard of anything like that before. I mean, mushrooms in coffee? Of course I had to try it. Surprisingly, it did not taste like mushroom at all. To me, it faintly resembled a mocha. I really enjoyed it and would gladly order it again. Perfect way to start to my day. I ordered a flat white with oat milk. The espresso was so smooth and perfect, no bitterness at all. It felt like a hug in a cup. I also tried their good stuff bagel, which has eggs, cream cheese, avocado and turkey meat on an everything bagel. I was satisfied with the sandwich, but I would try something else next time. Service was amazing. The barista, Bridget, was super friendly and makes excellent coffee! The cafe is tucked away in a big shopping plaza, where there's lots of parking. So... I never really go out of my way to complain or give a bad ratting to a business because we all have bad days! The café was a simple modern vibe with greenery and nice decor. The Matcha latte was pretty good and the bagel sandwich was great. I was hoping they would have egg put in the bagel sandwich, but they didn't have any. I feel it would be a great addition if they added egg to their bagels sandwich menu, but what can you do?
