I received a flyer on my door. I love trying local restaurants and ordered delivery through the app. Ordering was easy and the order arrives within the stated time. This order was pretty interesting. The sauce dish that I ordered was strange. The meat had a very slimy thin texture less consistency. The sauce had no taste at all, we did not eat past one bite. The egg roll was small, actually the spring rolls were more well stuffed than the egg roll which were opposite in the menu photos. I've always seen this advertised in Spring and passed by it for work, but my PT coworker suggested we go out to lunch. I was craving Chinese food, so she recommended it. Their lunch specials are $7.95. They don't charge extra for non-white rice options. Rare. They have white, brown, and fried rice. The meal also comes with a vegetable or pork egg roll. I had the General Tso's chicken. I asked for fried rice, but they gave me brown rice, possibly by accident since my coworker ordered it with her meal. I didn't complain and ate the brown rice. Everything tasted great. Large portions. I had leftovers. I had to try their scallion pancake since that's my favorite. It wasn't as scallion-y, and it was pretty oily. There are a bit of scallions inside, too, but not much. The concept was different, which the waitress explained. You put a smear of hoisin sauce and sliced scallions on top, then roll it. Came here with some of my family from dinner and some items were really good while others were a little bit off. Additionally, we had two servers, one who was very nice and the other would yell as she came to the table. I'm not sure if she just wanted to be sure we heard her but it was a little off putting. I ordered the ramen and a couple pieces of sushi. The rame was decent expect for the noodles. They were way overcooked and just mushy. This place is a hidden gem!!!! I am so glad I drove past. I've been here for almost a year and have yet to find decent sushi in the immediate area. The sushi was fantastic, fresh tasting and the sushi rice was perfection. I did a pick up order but the interior is very inviting at first glance and the decor is simple and tasteful. I am so happy we did, if you're a vegetarian and are tired of only having veggie lomein, veggie fried rice & broccoli in garlic sauce as your only options this is the new spot! What I appreciate about them is their professionalism compared to some local Chinese places. The fact that they use Door Dash is all the better. I tried their beef and broccoli, egg rolls and peppered steak. ALL were delish. The first time I prematurely placed an order via Door Dash so my order was not complete. I was able to contact the restaurant, add to my order, and they automatically charged the card used to purchase the original items. Gotta love technology! I also love their banto box. On my initial visit to this establishment I was pleased with the service and food. Today we drove 15 miles to eat here. We ordered a pork fried rice dish. When the dish came out and we tried it the pork had a funky smell to it. When we brought it to the servers attention her response was simply "we've been serving it this way for 8years". Perhaps that is correct but we did not feel safe ingesting something that smelled spoiled. She did not take it back to the cook to inspect or smell nor did she do either. The pricing is very disappointing. They told me all the sushi rolls are 20 percent off, so I ordered a hand roll which is my favorite kind of roll in Japanese restaurants. When I got my bill the hand roll was the original price. I asked the waitress how come there's no discount and she said she already told me only sushi are 20% off. I ask them when I make my order why aren't you tell me I'm not ordering your promotion item and she kept saying she already told me.
