Dropped in for lunch. Lunch specials were popular at tables. I had sushi, Salmon, Unagi, and Snapper. All were good. Servings had a bit more rice on each than I prefer but were good. They do have Benihana tables where the food can be prepared at the table grill. Was a good place. Large place with lots of seating.

I came here because it was close to my hotel and I was hungry. I was not expecting much. The spicy yellowtail hand roll may be the best thing I have ever eaten. The mackerel (not pictured, I ate it too fast) may have been the best I've tried outside of my trip to Japan. If I wasn't leaving Houston today I'd have come back for dinner. Great sushi for cheap prices. Eat here. You're welcome

Terrible restaurant especially for lunch. Our waitress couldn't understand English nor speak to us. She didn't know what we ordered. Then there was barely anything vegan friendly on the menu so of course I had to order from the appetizers. I got the tofu dish and steamed rice. Both were mediocre and okay at best. The flavor was to be expected. Nothing extravagant. Nothing special. Of course, the steamed rice was solid. They wouldn't even bring out the steamed vegetables. I asked the owner, our waitress (three times), and another waitress - all three didn't bring my order. It took forever for the rest of the table's food to come out. I had to beg for them to bring out the steamed vegetables which I didn't get to eat during my meal. It was until after I got my tab and about headed out the door then I received my steamed vegetables. Oh and the vegetables wasn't worth $4. I'll take a picture of it and have y'all decide. Lackluster crappy food and sad "Japanese" restaurant. Ohh and the decor is so outdated!! There's an odor too. I won't be returning nor recommending!

Food was decent but had hibachi chicken that came out overly greasy. Ate here because it was near my hotel but about killed me the next two days. Very clear they are using highly processed ingredients. Eat other places closer to the airport.

Food was good. Service was great. Housekeeping was questionable . Table was sticky and asked to be cleaned. Carpet was worn and dirty. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Great food with great service. Phil provided us great service with good flavor. It has always been great to come here and have him cooking for us. Shaggy dogs taste great.

Order with UberEats because I'd rather be home than in that Houston traffic. I been wanting to try this place but every time I go it was closed. Sesame chicken looks and tastes disappointing! Ended up giving that to my dog. Unagi hand roll was good as always but you can't really mess that up. Spider hand roll was salty af! I had to get some water after that one. The Sake cado hand roll was the best one moist and refreshing. The seaweed is very chewy on these hand rolls I don't know if that's normal. The smoked salmon was ok but I've had better at other places. Sad to say it but the best part of this meal was the ginger. Tomago is not my favorite but I always like to try since it's like a dessert nigiri. Ok so this has to be the best tomago I've had. It was not too sweet! If I come back for anything it will be that sashimi style and to try something else.

The food is delicious, I really like the Katsu and the side salad because it comes with this really yummy sauce I can't remember what it's called but it's my absolute favorite. The stuff is really friendly and on point.

We came here for dinner one night while in town for business. It's a decent size restaurant with an option to sit where they cook in front of you or sit at a regular table. We got there around 6pm and it was pretty empty so we had no wait. We were sat quickly and brought drinks. Food was decent. The gentleman cooking was nice and fun. It was a big group of 12 and he did a good job. Waiter kept refilling drinks and table clean when ever we finished something. Service was good in my opinion.

My boyfriend & I were looking for a good sushi place around us because were tired of having to go towards downtown/ midtown / heights etc to find good sushi / Asian food. I was looking through doordash wanting to order some and came across Ichibon which was only a few minutes away from where we were at so we decided to go before they closed. It is a Monday evening it was about 8:30 we arrived and there was a few people but the environment is super chill and perfect if you aren't wanting to be around a huge crowd. We sat at the bar and I'm happy we did because we met one of the cooks / sushi makers his name was " Nacho" and said he worked mondays & he made our experience great!! The waiter was good also but not as friendly as him and also when we needed little things like plates to put the soy sauce or anything in general he was there to ask which makes the experience great , and I value someone who knows how to give great customer service ! Nacho was amazing , very helpful , friendly and on top of that the sushi was BOMB!! Even though this little spot is in greenspoint I'll def be coming back soon for some sushi and to dine in with a nacho ! Great peaceful environment , amazing service & great food! Also the prices are bomb for being sushi .

The ginger salad is an absolute flavor explosion!

Updated review: Their food is really good compared to others in the same arena (Happy Buddha- HB, Kobe, or Benihana's) and the price is more reasonable. They just remodeled the outside court yard and put better 24hour security. Never felt safer.

The teppanyaki show was fun, engaging, and very well done, and everything we tried tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi was also surprisingly good. I ordered the Firecracker Roll and the King Maki, and both were excellent. For appetizers, we tried the Crab Puffs and the Hayashi Style Fried Calamari, which were great starters and full of flavor. The complimentary soup that comes with the meal was pretty good as well and a nice way to start the dining experience. The hibachi itself was also very good, and the menu offers a wide variety of meats to choose from depending on what you're in the mood for. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the service. Our server made us feel a bit rushed during the visit, which took away slightly from the overall experience. Aside from that, the food and the teppanyaki performance were excellent, and I would definitely come back.

Quite an interesting Asian fusion menu. We set a reservation for 5:30 pm on a Tuesday night and it was fairly empty, only started to pick up around 7:30 when we left. We came primarily for HRW which both my parents and I participated in. With it being a $55 dinner option and a steakhouse, we had high expectations. - Appetizers: crispy tuna roll (the arare rice cracker topping felt a little stale, did not add the desired crispness and could have been left off altogether), grilled naan (server recommended the labneh for a savory taste but it was honestly more sour if anything), and chopped salad (plum dressing was a little too tart for my dad) - Entrees: wagyu skirt steak (a pretty small portion but tender and well seasoned, balanced well with the chili vinaigrette), prime burger (large and flavorful), & 8 oz fillet (mom asked for medium rare which the outer rim of the filet was perfectly done but the inside was much more red and chewy, not really cooked at all - I encouraged her to send it back to cook further but she insisted it was still edible) - Desserts: bread pudding (not sure if I like the black sesame ice cream, didn't really feel like it paired well and the bread pudding would have done just fine by itself), basque cheesecake (very airy), & coconut mango mousse cake (too light for my taste, was expecting more mousse than cake) Service was great - water was constantly refilled (even if it wasn't halfway empty), empty dishes were promptly removed, and new silverware was always provided. Our overall critique was that it was a little bit of a turnoff how our server was trying to upcharge on certain things such as adding toppings to the filet ($12 for a small scoop of truffle butter, are you kidding...) and pushing us to get additional sides with our entrees. Rating wise, I would give our experience a 7/10.
