We went during restaurant week when great three course meals were offered at $55 (a savings of around $25-50). Plenty of close in free parking with a valet to watch over the lot. Quiet, not crowded at 6 pm, good service. A date night can easily cost $200-300, so come prepared... it is worth it.
Highly Recommend! We had the action bar seats in the middle of the restaurant by the fire pits and cooks. It was really cool and fun. Staff was excellent and the steaks were good! Great service and the restaurant was very nice and organized with good ambiance. Service was excellent. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food was excellent. Everything we had was fresh. NEGATIVE - they try and charge a 3% service fee which is ridiculous excuse for any place and tell them to remove it when your bill comes.
Phenomenal! Came for a birthday dinner and everything was phenomenal. As you walk in you are greeted with friendly faces. Place is kept clean and you see them constantly cleaning through out. Felix was our waiter and he was very friendly and attentive. Him and another guy assured our cups were never empty and our table was clean and clear. He also explained the menu and did recommendations. Host in pretty purple outfit was also very attentive and shows the team they are. We sat in the back were you can see everything being cooked. For drinks I do the lavender lemonade, very refreshing with a kick of citrus. For food I did the 8oz filet classic. Perfectly cooked with the prime sauce. Still can't point wha taste it had but I got a hint of tamarindo but can be totally wrong. Ooos forgot to mention the chicken fried. Lobster was a bite size with plenty of flavor. Bone marrow was melting in every bite similar to beef tallow. Yup we did the porter house! Perfect size for 2, perfect for 2. Per my son so good! Nothing left behind. As for sides we did loaded mash potatoes, which sure were loaded with flavor. Each spoonful had meat, potatoes, cheese and so much more. With the side of truffle side. I loved that it was put as option as myself find the flavor too strong. Mac and cheese were giant shells with lots of flavor. Very creamy and cheesy in each bite. Spicy tuna was delish! Each bite was full of flavor. Dessert, my favorite part! Went for the chocolate cheesecake off the menu. It was smooth chocolate taste similar to mousse. The prime dessert had a scoop of vanilla with a crunch of pecans with melted not sure if it's cookie or brownie but perfect combo. Birthday dessert was similar to flan with mango flavor and raspberry scoop of ice cream. They have limited self parking as well as valet parking.
With so many gems in Houston, I am glad I came across this place. I was looking for a place that offered Steak and Sushi and this amazing place popped up. Prime 131 was tucked away in the Heights area. I think it's a great place to check out during the week after work or during the week as a date night. The vibes inside are very romantic and cozy. I started the night off with the Tequila Twilight, which was a well balanced of sweet and tequila. I paired the food together with the mini crab cakes. The crab cakes were so tasty, I didn't have a chance to snap a picture but the freshness and crispness of the crab cakes didn't last long on my plate. I am definitely torn between the short rib and the 8 oz steak but if I had to choose again, I think I would have to go with the short rib. The short rib was grilled to perfection, yet very tender!! The mash potatoes also had short rib mixed in so I am not sure I would order the short rib and mash potatoes together again. All and all the food and atmosphere was 10/10.
This was my pick for my solo Mother's Day weekend dinner. It has been on my list for quite some time. I made a reservation online, valet was right there to take my car (price:8.00). I sat at their wood fire bar. It was great. I ordered the filet and spinach along with the Cosmobelle to drink. The service was on point and I never had to look for her. The steak was cooked to perfection and they sliced it as requested. The chef sent me a little gift to try which was a whitefish sushi roll. I will be booking again
Date night approved! So many good options for fine dining now in houston but I took a shot in the dark and decided to try prime 131 for our monthly date night and they did not disappoint at all. The food was amazing! We just decided to try the recommended starters from our waitress, a sushi roll and dessert. We literally left no food behind lol. The bone marrows and the lobster bites were top tier! I will have to say we did come during dinner around 6:30 and as time went on they got increasingly busy and service started declining. We were flagging down waiters for request. For the price we are paying to dine here and for this to be a five star, I think that should be improved. Other than that the overall dining experience was exceptional. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!
A steakhouse/ sushi bar restaurant that has a rustic, high end vibe. Good: - Bone in filet and Miso Cod was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. - Mac and cheese was also delicious. - The asparagus side had a base sauce that tasted like sweet hummus mixed with their version of pico de gallo. Bad: - I don't like restaurants that adds in extra costs (3% operating fee). Why not just bake it into the price? The price point is already on the higher end and I just feel like I'm getting nickled and dimed. - Server brought out the wrong check. I think it was an honest mistake. But you can't make mistakes like this at this caliber. - Side portions are smaller than I had anticipated. Overall: I would come back. It's worth a try.
Prime 131 was a must! We went for our Anniversary Dinner BUT I like a good deal so we made it just in time for a little Happy Hour! The margaritas are amazing! We had margaritas, oysters and 2 sushi rolls. All were soooo good! We were stuffed after that but we still wanted to have our "fancy" Anniversary Dinner which the spot is very that...fancy, lights dimmed and all of that..so we stayed and ordered a steak and macaroni for us to share. Both were cooked perfectly. The service was tip notch at the bar and the table. We are definitely going back for that happy hour! To toooo good!
It's a fun space with neon signs and an open wood grill kitchen. The service was very nice and accommodating. We went for a dinner with friends, and everything was good. We all shared a bunch of sushi to start, and it was all top notch. I had the lobster, which was delicious. I was skeptical about being good at multiple things (sushi, wood fire grill?), but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't take lot of pictures, the friends are also vendors that were taking us out. We were confused by the menu online, but were pleasantly surprised by how great everything was.
My birthday falls in August, which means I get to celebrate during Houston Restaurant Weeks. Lucky me! I was looking for a spot that could accommodate a large group, and to my surprise, I found out The BB Group has opened so many new hot spots. I don't go out much these days, so I was thrilled to discover them. Booking was quick and easy. I reserved Prime 131 for a group of 20-25. The manager was great and let me know they had a smaller room available (not completely private, but private enough), which worked perfectly for us. Parking was a breeze with both valet and a private garage offering free parking. When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the aesthetics. I wish I'd had a chance to tour the whole restaurant, but I went straight to our table. Our entire group ordered from the HRW menu, and we were pleasantly surprised...the portions were full-sized apps, entrées, and desserts. What a deal! And the food? Outstanding. Out of 20 people, not a single unhappy mouth! Service was equally impressive! They happily split the bills for everyone and even cut our cake at no extra charge. I couldn't be happier with my choice, and everyone in our group agreed. Prime 131 made my birthday celebration unforgettable! Photos included.
After driving past Prime 131 numerous times, we finally decided to give it a try and made a reservation for our Saturday date night. The restaurant is located in Timbergrove, tucked among residential subdivisions in a small strip repurposed from machine shops. Although the lot is spacious and the only other business sharing the lot is a small CrossFit gym, parking is valet only for $8, which seems unreasonable given the location. The industrial vibe interior was spacious with dim lighting. They even kept some of the original equipment/fixtures. While we expected this to a steak restaurant, the menu surprisingly has a lot of seafood/sushi options. For appetizers, we ordered the chilled eastern oysters (5/5, flavored with ponzu and wasabi, excellent ), roasted oysters (4/5, Thai style), mini crab cakes (3/5, pretty mid) and dinosaur bone marrow (3.5/5, smelled great while grilling in the open kitchen, nice presentation, pretty good flavor but not too content). For the main, we split the USDA Prime porterhouse for 2 loaded with crab meat (4.5/5), cooked perfectly medium rare, very tender and seasoned well. For sides, we shared grilled asparagus (5/5), broccolini (4/5) and exotic wild mushrooms (4/5). We ended the meal with lemon and lime (a fun dessert came with a little hammer, 5/5) and skillet fudge (classic, 4/5). Overall enjoyed our dinner experience. We didn't really explore the sushi menu, will give it a try another time.
this is a cute upscale restaurant in the heights right off 11th street .. decor is dark and romantic, kind of outdoorsy but in an upscale way. The service was great, didn't have to ask for anything because she was very attentive, the food was perfectly made and very flavor .My steak was well done (which i asked for) and it was made well done . Overall, a vibe i'll come back to .

Kind of settled in the middle of nowhere in the heights, it's very unassuming from the outside. Gives off a warehouse, industrial feel especially in the way the ceiling looks on the inside. Quite an interesting Asian fusion menu. We set a reservation for 5:30 pm on a Tuesday night and it was fairly empty, only started to pick up around 7:30 when we left. We came primarily for HRW which both my parents and I participated in. With it being a $55 dinner option and a steakhouse, we had high expectations. - Appetizers: crispy tuna roll (the arare rice cracker topping felt a little stale, did not add the desired crispness and could have been left off altogether), grilled naan (server recommended the labneh for a savory taste but it was honestly more sour if anything), and chopped salad (plum dressing was a little too tart for my dad) - Entrees: wagyu skirt steak (a pretty small portion but tender and well seasoned, balanced well with the chili vinaigrette), prime burger (large and flavorful), & 8 oz fillet (mom asked for medium rare which the outer rim of the filet was perfectly done but the inside was much more red and chewy, not really cooked at all - I encouraged her to send it back to cook further but she insisted it was still edible) - Desserts: bread pudding (not sure if I like the black sesame ice cream, didn't really feel like it paired well and the bread pudding would have done just fine by itself), basque cheesecake (very airy), & coconut mango mousse cake (too light for my taste, was expecting more mousse than cake) Service was great - water was constantly refilled (even if it wasn't halfway empty), empty dishes were promptly removed, and new silverware was always provided. Our overall critique was that it was a little bit of a turnoff how our server was trying to upcharge on certain things such as adding toppings to the filet ($12 for a small scoop of truffle butter, are you kidding...) and pushing us to get additional sides with our entrees. Rating wise, I would give our experience a 7/10. read more

HRW dinner: Service was great. The staff was attentive to our needs. Appetizers: Lobster miso soup: a bowl of miso soup with some lobster meat. The shellfish flavor deeply infused into the broth. Wasn't the biggest portion but my husband was very satisfied with the flavor. 5/5. The beets: soo good: the wood fired flavor with the earthy beets and the labneh are perfection. This is my favorite dish which seems silly, but it is a very good beet dish: 5/5. Romaine: their take on a ceasar. Very good. I like the smoky flavor from the grill. 4/5. Edamame: it was fine. Very run of the mill. 3/5. Entree: Filet: delicious. Cooked perfectly to a medium rare. 5/5. Chicken: chicken was tender, potatoes were nice: pretty basic. 4/5. Wagyu skirt steak: very tender. Nicely composed dish. 5/5. Short rib: very rich, very tender. Lacked salt. Wish it had more of the herbs on top as it definitely needed some kind of acid or something to cut the richness. 3/5. Desserts: Bread pudding: this sounded good, but there was nothing special about it. It was super plain and dry tasting and kind of bland. Bread pudding should decadent and rich, but this was not it. The black sesame ice cream I was super excited for, but the texture of the ice cream was bad. It was almost chewy and gummy. 2/5. Basque cheesecake: love the components: delicious 5/5. Black Forest cake: different from last year but our dining companion enjoyed it: 4/5. read more
I had never heard of this joint prior to gandering at the HRW site this year, so we decided to give it a shot. We made a reservation for a double date on a Saturday night. If you're lucky enough to find a spot in the front lot, make sure you grab it. Valet is going to be an additional 10 bucks or so to park your car 2 ft away. That's 2/3 of a cocktail. Save your money if you can. The dining hall is a very clean and spacious, remodeled industrial space. They still have some equipment tastefully highlighted throughout the restaurant. A neat look and throwback to the original of the building. If you send it in the central area, you'll get a good view of the kitchen and staff doing their thing. Food wise, when it comes to hrw you're not necessarily getting the best thing anybody has to offer, but it's usually pretty solid because they want you back. This was no exception. Everything was good, but not amazing. I started with the LobsterMiso Soup. I thought it was good. It was definitely skimping on quantity. I wouldn't say that the flavors were overly pronounced, but it was a different take on the miso and I liked it. The gal got the grilled romaine salad, and she loved it and I thought it was pretty good too. For the entree I ordered the wagyu skirt steak. For what it was, it was very good. No complaints. Comparatively speaking the grilled bone-in short rib my friend ordered was probably the winner of the evening. Not only did it look. Super cool, but it was cooked to perfection. We also really enjoyed the salt grilled branzino. Very tender and flavorful. I think I won on the desserts with the Black Forest, a sizeable chocolate cake arrangement. The bread pudding was good, but I didn't care for the black sesame ice cream too much. We also ordered a round of cocktails to go with our dinner. And those were very good. If they have a happy hour I would consider coming through for that. Service was very fast and very efficient considering how busy they are on a Saturday night. It's an upscale spot perfect for dates, and more formal dining. A very good ambiance. Definitely worth a shot for a new contender in the hrw experience. read more

Terrible. This is their "filet". I made a complaint and the chef came out and talked down to me like I've never been to a steak restaurant before. Worst steak experience I've ever had. read more
Prime 131 delivers a strong dining experience with standout dishes and sleek ambiance. They have an open kitchen with amazing ventilation. We started with the spicy edamame, which was packed with bold, garlicky flavor and a great way to wake up the palate. The tuna tartare was beautifully fresh and well-seasoned, and the fire roasted beets were earthy and smoky. For mains, the grilled bone-in short rib was tender, rich, and deeply satisfying. The salt-grilled branzino was light and flavorful, with a crispy skin and delicate seasoning. We also tried a couple of sushi rolls, the yellowtail Serrano and salmon salmon. While both were decent, they didn't quite live up to the flavor and creativity of the other dishes on the menu. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the ambience was romantic and sleek. Would definitely come back to try some other dishes. read more
We live in the neighborhood and have passed by quite a few times prior to checking Prime 131 out. This building was formerly a machine shop of sorts and now repurposed to include the restaurant and a gym/ fitness spot next door. Location is right across from the park in the Timbergrove area. Parking is $8 valet only in their lot, which is extremely disappointing; this isn't downtown LA and there is no need to valet in their properly sized lot. We came for a Saturday date night and made a prior reservation. The interior is fairly dark and has an open concept kitchen which is really nice. They kept some of the items from the machine shop as decor on the roof and the interior is fairly upscale. The interior is more spacious than expected from looking from the outside. The menu has quite a bit of sushi and seafood items surprisingly for a restaurant named for beef. Service was as expected for a higher end restaurant. We ordered a half dozen raw and chilled eastern oysters (4/5, great), jumbo lump mini crab cakes (3/5, fairly bland), roasted oysters (4/5, nice Thai style), and dinosaur bone marrow (beef femur marrow roasted and smoked with sourdough, 4/5 for the presentation, although there's not much substance to eat). For the main, we split the USDA prime porterhouse for 2 (4.5/5). Cooked perfectly to medium rare and very tender and a solid porterhouse. It was a bit fattier than expected (actual fat back, not the marbling). We also got some sides for the table, grilled asparagus (5/5, these are solid), broccolini (3/5), and exotic wild mushrooms (3/5, these taste exactly just like oyster mushrooms). For dessert, we got their fairly fun lemon and lime dessert (4/5) and a fudge dessert (3/5). Overall, we had a nice dinner experience with mostly the beef menu being explored and the seafood portion rather untouched. The quality and cook on the steaks are solid and it seems like they're on top of the presentation and taste of their dishes. Value wise, this is probably a 3/5 or 3.5/5; not everyone casually goes and gets $100 steaks. Also their forced valet parking situation is terrible; you're in the middle of a neighborhood and you have a large parking lot; let people park their own cars. read more

This was my first visit to the restaurant. The menu is amazing with a great selection of salads, appetizers, steaks and extensive drink menu. This is the first Houston restaurant I found to have two different New York Strip choices. Sides can be shared. The staff takes time to answer any questions as each item is unique. Make sure you check out the entire menu. The atmosphere is modern with a good seating area at the bar and a mix of tables in the dining room. Valet parking is easy and they stay open late. read more

I went there specifically to celebrate the receipt of my first paperback versions of my first book. It was a special night on Saint Patrick's Day. The staff was willing to play along and take selfies with the book. The food is always amazing, and the staff is very attentive. We like sitting at the bar, where the entertainment is largely watching the stoking of the open fire that gives food that pit smell and look. The drinks are top-shelf there, and the low-light ambiance is refreshing after the cold, rainy night or the blazing sun of Houston. read more

If you're looking for a nice date night spot, this is definitely a place to add to your list. My first time here was for Houston Restaurant Week as a double date with another couple. It's in a shopping center with other establishments so you'd think there would be plenty of parking, but a lot of spots were taken by valet. We were able to find the last self-parking spot which was nice. When we walked in, the hostess greeted us and showed us to our table. I highly recommend making a reservation. The place had a more industrial look, which was pretty cool. After a round of cocktails, I picked the grilled romaine salad, the salt grilled branzino, and the bread pudding. I loved EVERYTHING I ordered! The lemon candy and breadcrumbs added a nice texture to the salad and the dressing had a garlicky Caesar vibe to it. The fish was light and flavorful. The brown butter really made the dish. As a dessert lover though, I was looking forward to the bread pudding the most. I asked for the black sesame ice cream on the side and I'm glad I did, I didn't care for the ice cream. I feel like it lacked flavor. The bread pudding though had a great creamy taste to it and the bread held its shape well with the rice milk. Off the HRW menu, we ordered the Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. They were ok, I think if you're going for HRW, save your money and stick with what's on the menu, you won't be disappointed! read more
Came in on a Friday night with reservation, seated immediately. Restaurant fairly full, half of it is dedicated to kbbq which fills up quicker. Dress code: smart casual Food 4/5: we got the Australian wagyu NY strip with loaded mashed potato's, beet root salad and chorizo and avocado salad and a midori sour. The strip was good altho more rare than the medium rare we asked for. Salads and mashed potato were excellent. Midori sour was fairly average. Ambiance 4/5: nice mix of formal and casual ambiance, beautiful bar area, wood finishing, dimly lit, a bit loud at times. Service 4.5/5: very professional, friendly and helpful. Very prompt, at times was slow with water refill. Value 3/5: fair price for solid food Overall 4/5: a solid steakhouse for a fair price that accepts inKind which significantly ups the value. Good for special occasions, will likely be back. Parking: smallish parking lot and street parking around read more
Some friends and I ventured here for happy hour, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere has a beautiful, masculine, and edgy vibe that immediately stood out. Ashley provided excellent service, she was attentive and welcoming, and the cocktails and food were on point (way to go, bartender!). Everything from start to finish was fantastic. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to! read more

Prime 131.. everything about this place felt a little.. interesting. There were some very good points but also some things that just left a sour taste for me. So to start service was wonderful, I almost wanted to give 5 stars just because of how nice my waiter was. Appetizers were solid, oysters, sushi, and bone marrow are the items my wife and I got and each was pretty good, maybe 3.9-4.1. The steaks I thought were good but didn't blow me away like I thought it would (they let you pick your own wood to cook which was something I've never seen). The Mac and cheese was delicious but the broccolini was ok at best and it was slightly cold. The loaded mashed potatoes were very underwhelming as well in my opinion and it too, seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. As well, the portion sizes of the sides were really small, especially for the cost. Desserts, we got the fudge skillet and cheesecake, both were ok... now to the odd and not so great points. I'm not sure if this place knows what it wants to be, it's priced at an upscale steakhouse, $8 valet and mandatory 3% fee for all checks. I knew about the fee due to Yelp and I mean $13 is not breaking the bank but like really? And you're charging all this and you're playing day and night by kid cudi amongst other things for the music? And to me the interior doesn't scream upscale steakhouse, it's nice but just to me doesn't have that upscale feeling. To me things are overpriced and unnecessary. I think it'd be better served as a mid tier steakhouse, drop the prices, the fees and thrive in that area. But to leave with a bill similar to some of the nicest steakhouses in houston along with the extra fees is just a little ridiculous to me. Unfortunately I can't see myself making it back anytime soon. read more
My friends and I tried this place for restaurant week and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was great and we loved watching the open kitchen design. Our server Jason was great! He was always very prompt and had good recommendations. He even brought out an extra dessert when he heard I had gotten engaged which was very thoughtful Overall, the food was spectacular from seafood to meat to dessert. I tried the spicy salmon roll, romaine lettuce, bone in short rib, and bread pudding. While everything was delicious, I think the standouts for me (mostly because I wasn't expecting it from a steak restaurant) were the sushi and the bread pudding! read more

Hamburgers & fries? not good, skip them. Beet salad? AMAZING -- honestly the one thing I'd come back for. Dino bone marrow? Pretty good. Yellowtail Serrano? Eh, no good.:. KUU sushi is amazing!! (go there for sushi instead -- sooo good!!). The truffle Suzuki at KUU is my absolute fave y'all have to try it! I seen a few orders get sent back and I should have done the same!! Heads up though: they tack on a 3% "restaurant operations fee" -- never seen that anywhere else in Houston. read more

Very yummy food! Great service too ! I sat at the bar and was given good recommendations for restaurant week!it was $55 for all three an appetizer, entree and a dessert! The bathrooms were good and the parking was good no issues with that. Music wasn't too loud . Went in relatively early so didn't have any issues . The chicken was just a little strange with the skin on still being a little chewy. but over all good experience. read more
I travel to Houston frequently for business and have been here twice, both times with large parties. How a restaurant handles a large party is really a true test of their food and service. Both times our service has been impeccable and the food and drinks delicious. I highly recommend a steak, the lobster or sushi. The short rib is good but a little fatty for my taste. read more
I recently dined at Prime 131 in Houston, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The food was top notch, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was impeccable. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. The wagu steak to be more specific was literally the definition of perfection. Check it out if you're curious. I give this a straight 10 out of 10. Honestly, I'm writing this review and I haven't even had dessert yet. It's on the way but i couldn't wait to share with you all the 10/10 experience I had. read more
Benjamin Berg's Prime 131 Steakhouse in the Timbergrove area of Houston certainly exceeded my expectations. We took our son and daughter in law out for an early Saturday night meal. I was skeptical of the huge menu and the combination of Japanese/American/Korean Steakhouse vibe but in the end, the food is what counts and Prime 131 hit the bullseye on the food front. We started with some cocktails and mocktails for the pregnant daughter in law and the very tasty grilled sourdough. I will say the portion size for the bread (not complimentary) was a little smaller than I would have liked. The cocktails were well made. As I mentioned, the menu is quite substantial, and our server Haley was very patient with us as we tried to figure out what to order. From the appetizer section, our table ordered the clam chowder, grilled romaine salad, Chorizo and Avocado Salad and the Chicken Fried Lobster. Both Salads were the bomb, and my son really enjoyed the clam chowder. Based on bang for your buck, we likely will pass on the Chicken Fried Lobster in the future as it was a little underwhelming. Next, my son and I each has the 6 piece chef's choice Nigiri sampler. This was really the litmus test for me as a self professed sushi snob. Each piece of Nigiri was dressed so that additional soy and wasabi was not needed, and while not up to the level of true sushi restaurants such as Soto and MF, the nigiri was very good. When they were brought to the table, the individual types of fish was not pointed out, so that likely needs to improve for a chef's choice type dish, but I could tell for sure what 5 of the 6 pieces were, and likely knew what the 6th piece was. So, 8/10 for the Nigiri. For the main dishes we had two filets, the 18 oz American Wagyu ribeye, and the whole roasted lobster. All steaks were cooked to the proper temperature and had a really good flavor of smoke from the wood fire ovens and seasoning. The roasted lobster might have been the tastiest lobster I can remember. Just perfectly cooked with the right amount of butter and seasonings to complement the lobster itself. We had the spinach, mushrooms, and ricotta stuffed mac and cheese as sides, and all were exceptional. Sides can really set a restaurant apart, and Prime 131 takes theirs seriously. The mac and cheese was my favorite, the rest of the table preferred the spinach which I also thought was very good. We sampled 3 desserts which were all good, but at this point we were pretty stuffed. All that food, a couple of cocktails and a nice bottle of French Burgundy added up to an larger than life tab, but for special occasions the splurge was worth it. We will definitely return, perhaps with one of our other kids and their significant other. read more

Found this gem looking for a new steakhouse to try. They had a pre fixe menu for $59 and happy hour specials all day on Tuesdays. Was immediately greeted by friendly hostess and sat at the bar. Bartender was phenomenal I wish I had got his name. Drinks were well balanced and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the dragon roll to start with. I feel the rice was a bit over cooked but roll had good flavor. The roasted beets were to die for literally the best I've had. They were sweet, hearty, and had a sauce that complimented them perfectly. For entree I got the 8 ounce filet which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The broccolini had a smoky burnt taste that I did not fancy but was cooked well. Last for dessert I got the basque cheesecake. They brought it out with a beautiful presentation. Cheesecake had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness from fruit to give a well balanced dessert. Overall I was impressed with this place and will revisit! read more
Prime 131 has become one my favorite places to indulge. I have been several times for dinner and have tried both the regular menu and the Korean BBQ option. You can't go wrong with either option. From the regular menu, prepare to be overwhelmed with options. Some of the menu options are very unique and all are delicious. I've tried steak, sushi, several lobster dishes, seafood, and ton of side. I love it all. On the Korean BBQ side, we ordered the middle option and were blown away. The Korean BBQ is both an adventure in deliciousness and presentation -- it's truly a remarkable experience. The staff are very attentive and are very engaged with recommendations. While the food does take a bit of time, the wait is definitely worth. I've made a goal to work my way through the entire menu! read more
