You seat yourself and then a waiter comes or you can press a button on the wall for a server if you're seated in the booths. The booths have a privacy curtain also. We went in and got a server real quick who took our drinks and appetizers order. They were brought out in great time. The orange chicken comes on a plate by itself, it looks like meat balls but it tastes so good, minus the orange peel it was too much rind. (So bear that in mind to take them out if you don't like the rind taste) The combination lo mein is good but it needed a bit more flavor so I used my orange chicken sauce to sauce it. Coming from Los Angeles, where the art of the egg roll has all but been forgotten, I was astonished to find this hidden gem--new to the area--keeping alive the tradition of hand-rolled egg rolls that once flourished when I was but a wee lad. The hot and sour soup was surprisingly savory and delicious. The ambiance would be great for a couple looking to enjoy a romantic dinner where they can actually hear each other. General Tso Chicken ($12.95) 2.5/5 Pretty good spice level and the sauce a good balance of sweet and sour. However, the chicken had a ton of batter on it and was dry. Moo Shu Pork ($10.85) 3.5/5 This wasn't what I thought it would be. It was a cabbage and pork stir fry. The flavor was fine but not really Moo Shu Pork. I liked how it offered pancakes on the side, however, the pancakes were really dry and crusty... I ended up not eating them, which is rare for me to just throw out food. Eggplant with Garlic Sauce ($10.45) 1.5/5 The eggplants were kind of old and super mushy. Did not taste or feel like they were made to order. This is an update to my review from a few years ago. I'm so glad that T Jin survived COVID. We've been fans since they opened. We are hooked on their vegetable egg foo young. My man likes brown rice; I prefer white rice. My man loves them so much he buys three orders at a time and freezes them with rice and gravy. My only complaint is that they have forgotten to put the crispy noodles I paid for in the bag on several occasions. Annoying, but not enough to keep us from buying their egg foo young. I saw a bad review about 6 hours ago on here and decided to order from here anyways. We normally order Chinese food from this spot as it's about 3 miles from my house. Tonight we were starving.. I ordered an orange chicken and kids noodles.. both come with fried rice. I asked them to put peas and carrots in the fried rice (like normal fried rice comes) When my order arrived this is how it looked.. I don't understand why the kitchen would do this. When I called to get my order replaced I was very unimpressed by how the manager handled the situation. She proceeded by making the host play telephone between the two of us. I told her host to hand her the phone and that it was completely unprofessional. She proceeded to tell me that they couldn't put peas and carrots in my fried rice.. reason being it's already precooked. I asked her how come they can put vegetables and eggs in my orange chicken and noodles but not my fried rice (just like a combination fried rice) I then let her know that she could simply just add them to the top lol.. I don't understand. I work in the industry and have for 10 years. So two hours later I finally have my order replaced and for some reason it tasted watery and definitely not worth the $50 dollars I paid for my meal to receive this and also have to wait two hours for my food. Tried all the Chinese spots in the area and this is by far the best one. The egg rolls and pot stickers are handmade in house, unlike most other Chinese spots. The delivery is free and fast, food always arrives hot and fresh. The dine in lunch special is an unbeatable deal. Your choice of entree, rice, soup, and egg roll for about $10. I've lived in the Spring area for about four years now and I have yet to come across a good Chinese delivery. Well tonight all my dreams came true when I ordered from T Jin China diner. My kids and I ordered the crab Rangoon's, general Tso chicken, and chicken fried rice with no peas and carrots add beans sprouts. We were given a 45 to 50 minute ETA and the food was here within about 25 to 30 minutes. It was piping hot fresh and so very good I will be ordering again and again thank you Jin.
