I could not differentiate the two sauces except one had sesame and the other none. Had some business on the other side of town and decided to try golden China for dinner. Small mom and pop place but wow what a good place. I got the pork fried rice and crab Rangoon so delicious and I got a lot. Service was great. The only downside is the parking not a whole lot of room for cars, but definitely stop by this place is great. read more

I've never had to make a review for any restaurant I've been too but I'm in complete disgust!!!!!! I ordered a kids wing meal with a small egg drop soup. As i'm eating my soup , that im already half way down with I notice something on my spoon. I thought maybe it was the pepper or some other food might have gotten dropped in the soup while cooking it. I go to take off whatever was on the spoon that I just took out of the soup and I put it on a napkin. As I look at the napkin I see it is some sort of insect leg !! I then flashed light on the napkin to make sure i'm not seeing things but no I stand corrected it indeed was a INSECT LEG !!! So I called them letting them know what I found in the soup , they then tell me " well just come back and we will give you another soup " I then tell them " no it's fine I just want my money back , I don't feel comfortable eating from there since I found that in my food " mind you I'm not screaming or arguing with them just simply telling them I don't want any other food to accommodate what just happened just my money back. They said they " weren't going to give me a refund , since I already taken the food " which made no sense to me speaking that I FOUND A INSECT LEG IN MY FOOD!!! These people need to be inspected my the health department and also need to clean their kitchen properly and be punished for even serving food like that! I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else! First time being here and I'm impressed. From the outside it looks like nothing like someone said but the food is great! We ordered the chicken fried rice and it was a good amount for two-three people. The house special lo-mein was amazing! I definitely reccomend that one, also the General Tso chicken dinner is really good! The place was quiet, not too loud, great customer service, very friendly staff. They definitely have the best egg rolls in The Woodlands TX area! Very affordable as well. The staff greeted me with smiles and polite conversation. They have a huge menu and everything sounds sooo good. You walk in and they take your order at the back counter. We were greeted when we walked in and it felt so welcoming. As it was our first time there they patiently waited as we browsed the menu. We ended up getting an order of crab puffs which were seriously so good! An order of their pork lo mein. Not greasy/oily at all. The flavors were so satisfying. An order of the honey chicken. At first glance the plate seemed overwhelming because of the sauce, but Omg the sauce made the entire plate. The chicken was so soft and tender. The egg roll it came with was flavorful!!! We also ordered the kung pao beef. The meat was soo tender and bursting with flavor. This place was so good. The only off thing was the chili oil, it had a weird flavor. But other than that we are going back to try other plates!! They also advertise they don't use MSG in their food. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and portions for the price! 4.5* General tso- $8.50 dinner portion (chicken, fried rice, eggroll, fortune cookie)- actually pretty large, I ate about 2/3 of the chicken, 1/2 of the rice, and had leftovers. I ate the entire eggroll though! It was big, crunchy, not greasy, and surprisingly tasty! There's actually meat inside (pork?), not just all veggies. The chicken actually had meat and not just batter. Not overly sweet, not soggy, and was still very hot when ordered to-go. Didn't notice any spiciness though. There's a lot of chicken too (to-go box is pretty deep). The fried rice was cooked well and not oily (rice is fresh, not hard).
