72 HR 72-Hour Slow Cooked Wagyu Beef Skewer

Tried Bloofin Sushi for the first time and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Don't skip the 72 hr slow cooked Wagyu, it's amazing a must try!!! The service was great as well everything came out in a good amount of time. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

I brought my sister here for her birthday on a Monday evening and I was shocked how busy this place was. We were seated quickly, though. We ordered edamame to start off with - for our entrees, I went with ramen, which was a huge bowl, delicious, by the way and she ordered a shaggy dog, which she enjoyed. The service was good, the manager came by to check on us and he was very polite. The atmosphere was very casual with lots of families eating out. I'll definitely come back for some sushi.

New favorite place in Spring for sushi! We had more than what's in picture, but it was devoured before I could get a photo. Everything was fresh, the flavors were amazing, the place was clean and welcoming, and the service was wonderful. Come for their happy hour and don't skip ordering some sashimi pieces, they were nice sized cuts. We've been back and everything was just as good the second time. We've will be back again!

Great service from host to waitstaff, to even management checking on tables to ensure customers were satisfied. Enjoyed the setting, sometimes sushi restaurants are very dark! The food was excellent. Best baked mussels I've had since being in Texas. Spicy miso ramen with beef was perfect with spice and flavor. Forgot half the rolls we got, but we crushed em all!! Will definitely be making this our regular sushi spot.

I had initially booked our Mother's Day Brunch at a high end steakhouse in The Woodlands. When I told my mom and sister about the reservation, they both asked, "can we just go to Blōōfin instead?" ...so we did, and, as always, the food was spectacular. Tried and true favs: Foie Gras chawanmushi, the Wagyu skewers AND the A5 hot stone entree. The food here is consistently stellar! Our server was new and it showed, but the rest of the staff was excellent as always. Blōōfin's clean, modern decor is attractive, and they maintain it well. This remains a staple in our restaurant rotation in The Woodlands.

I really enjoyed my Friday night dinner with a friend at Blōōfin sushi. Parking across the street in the garage was free for 3 hours. We sat on the patio by the water, but inside had plenty of room too. Our server was super nice and gave great recommendations. We enjoyed the mussels, the rainbow roll and a speciality roll that had Asian pear inside. All were delicious. Super fresh and great flavor. I would absolutely eat that meal again. I really enjoyed their sake selection as well. I will definitely be back!

Good neighborhood sushi restaurant. They have another location in the Woodlands. They have happy hour menu from 3-6:30pm. Friday night was pretty busy so recommend reservations if you're dining after this time. Would not recommend the bento box - tempura was overcooked. Tempura appetizer was better prepared. Service was friendly. Rolls and nigiri were decent. Great spot if you are looking for a place to hang out with friends or work team dinner.

My tradition when visiting new state/city is to find best ramen, sushi and ice cream. My bff said I need to try blōōfin especially this bento special. The menu is full of interesting rolls but I decided to give this one a try as it's very reasonable price for the amount of sushi you get. It's truly amazing. I wish we have this quality sushi in St Louis. I was so full by the end and didn't even finish the rice. Staff was friendly, plenty of parking and great ambience!

I was craving sushi and wanted to try something new so we stopped at Blōōfin for an impromptu day date. We started with a seaweed salad and the spicy edamame. Both were the best I'd ever had. The seaweed salad was so fresh and the seasoning on the spicy edamame was so tasty! Per our waiter, Christian's suggestion, we dipped our sushi rolls in the leftover sauce and that was a game changer! For rolls, we decided to try a lot of their signature rolls. Each one was fresh and full of flavor. Turns out, I'm not a fan of the flavor of the torched rolls. Next time, I'd order them without the torching but all the ingredients were very fresh. My favorite roll was the jalapeño roll which is surprising because I don't normally like cooked rolls, but this one was amazing! The tempura was crunchy not soggy and tasted fresh not like overused oil. Our waiter Christian was great, too, and the vibe of the place is great for a date spot- day or night!

Every time we dine here, I think it just gets better and better. We tried their new Asian pear dish again and they actually took my suggestion up and added more pear!! Our favorite sake is called the Drunkin' Whale, thanks to the manager Johan for introducing it to us. The last picture I have attached here was so uniquely-crafted. I forget the name of the plate (my b!); however, I loved all the colors splashing together on the plate. And the tastes - acidic and sauve - just BURSTED in your mouth all in the right way! I'd never think to pair fish with cherry tomatoes but the chef did it well. We reordered the same rolls bc you can never go wrong with them. Next time I'll branch out a little more... Suggestion Pair the sauce that comes with the spicy edamame with the Houston Roll and you will not be disappointed. Period.

I got green tea for a beverage. Finished with a mango sorbet and a mud pie. The meal started with salad with ginger dressing and onion soup. The dressing was fine, and I prefer onion soup to miso, so we were off to a decent start. The teppenyaki show was pretty basic, some fun stuff but not particularly advanced. Shogun's teppenyaki is all seasoned mainly with teriyaki sauce. All of our food was a bit overdone, not a lot but enough to notice. Vegetables were fine. We got the fried rice, which is more fun since it's prepared in front of us, but it was just fried rice and eggs and ended up very sticky. I didn't eat much of mine. The yellowtail roll was ok, the flavor did not jump out but it was good with soy sauce. The sushi was also just OK, the flavors kind of run together. Not a lot of crunch for a crunchy roll. We got our shrimp appetizer last because one of our party had a seafood allergy and they do the shrimp separately if you ask, which is good. The shrimp were prepared just right. The mango sorbet was probably the best thing about the meal. The sorbet is tasty and it's served attractively in a halved mango. I can recommend that. The mud pie is a purchased frozen dessert but it was good. Service was fine, the server was attentive and helpful and the chef did his bit competently. The overall impression I got about the place is that it's tired. The decor is very simple and hasn't been updated in awhile--everthing is brown. The wallpaper was installed some time ago with obvious seams. It is showing wear in several places. The bathroom was reasonably clean but the urinal had flushing difficulty. What the place needs is a makeover, from the decor to the menu to the teppenyaki presentation. It's acceptable but I've had better teppenyaki in several places.

To start the server looked like he was hired "off the streets" and not presentable. Whatever happened to smiling and having a clean appearance. Additionally the drink orders were inconsistently served and we had to ask for items a few times and the "show" hadn't even started. The our chef arrives and I have my 4 grandchildren there and when you bring them you are expecting a bit of a show but our highlight was the "burned face" beginning but failing miserably on the "rice toss" and the disastrous "chop chop train" onion. Has any of the staff been trained? Maybe other tables but ours was pathetic. Sorry guys but facts are facts and even our grandkids don't want to go back!! Food quality was horrid and my salmon wasn't even cooked and I don't believe it is "sushi" grade salmon so I left it for the scrap heap which is where I'm also putting Shogun on my list for future visits. Good quality sushi rolls & pretty interior I went here for…read moredinner with my dad and ordered a couple speciality rolls, ramen, and some calamari as an appetizer. I found their selection of specialty rolls to be very unique and was delighted by the quality of the fish. Furthermore, the rolls were very generous in size and included a lot of fish. Definitely would come here again to try different rolls and their sashimi! - Pink lady roll (4.7): I ordered this roll because I was intrigued by how many different fish were inside (tuna, salmon, white fish, shrimp), and was surprised that they all ended up working well together. All the fish tasted fatty and fresh and the shrimp added a nice chewy texture that the roll needed. This roll was quite hefty with a generous amount of each ingredient and every bite felt so satisfying. Definitely order this roll if you like raw fish! - Yuzu tuna roll (4.4): This was a well rounded roll. The yuzu was pretty strong and gave the roll such a refreshing and bright flavor. I also loved the addition of red onions which added to the fresh taste. The tuna on top was so red and beautiful, and the spicy tuna inside had a nice kick to it that lingered afterwards. - Spicy chicken ramen (3.6): This was a pretty good chicken ramen. The broth was very flavorful and savory with a hint of sesame. The toppings were all cooked well and the noodles were nice and thick. My only complaints would be the chicken was on the drier side and there wasn't any spicy flavor at all. Also the portion was a bit on the smaller side, but overall still very enjoyable dish. - Crispy Calamari (3.6/5): The calamari was well seasoned and crispy on the outside. Most of the squid wasn't too chewy and was a pretty good texture overall, but there were a few that had a more rubbery texture. Service/ambiance: the service was really good! Our server, Sunny, was very patient and helped answer all of our questions. The interior was really pretty with Japanese style decor and some of the booths had privacy dividers, which made a very cozy vibe.
